It does still look ridiculous from the side but once the wings are angled you don't really see the bottom part of the droid, and although it would look better with the droid body removed, I wanted to keep it in the ship.

HELLO!!!! I recently bought the jedi interceptor, but I was disappointed by how much the astromech droid sticks out, so I made a mod to fix it. This is the problem, and to fix it, you'll need two 1x2 bricks, two 2x3 plates, and one 2x6 plate. First step, take off the astromech droid wing. You'll want to take off the 2x2 grey round plate thing and the 4x4 corner plate and the grey thing that holds the droid. then you'll want to get the two 1x2 bricks, two 2x3 plates, and one 2x6 plate. You'll want to put the two 1x2 bricks onto edges of the 2x6 plate. You'll want to put the 2x3 plates onto the 1x2 bricks, and you'll want to take the 1x2 grille plate from the set and put them onto the center of the 2x6 plate. then put the 2x2 grey plate thing onto the bottom of the 2x6 plate then you'll want to put the thing where the picture shows You'll want to place the 2x2 grey piece and the 4x4 grey plate where the picture shows and now the droid sits much lower than it did before. Can anyone please tell me if there is any interest in a lego Star Wars stop motion film series that takes place during the Galactic Civil War? The series will tell the story of those affected by the Galactic Empire and its war with the Rebel Alliance. It will focus on several citizens' lives and the struggle that is living during a Civil War. The series will also give insight into how some of the citizens felt about both the Empire and the Rebellion. The series will be called The Forgotten, and it will include more adult-themes, such as anorexia, drug use, suicide and self-harm, domestic abuse, etc. etc. (If this isn't the right place to ask this question, can someone please direct me to a more appropriate place to post this?)
