7992 Container Stacker, about 25% off. I've been eying off this set all year and the wait paid off. This set puts my Peeron total at over 50,000. *sweet* (I have around 5,000 extra parts that aren't easily listable.) Yes, I did the same thing! I put a red viking cape on mine as I think he looks odd capeless. I am considering Bricklinking the real one though.

Thanks Recruit. Carry on.... and welcome to Eurobricks!

(Ahghghh! I just had a computer disaster just prior to posting this. >:-( Now I have to do it all again...) Congrats Hinckley! I stand ready to receive my punishment... 8-| Well, to be honest I think it was obvious from the start for anyone who has seem MOCs from me before; a thruster for every plane, a triple airlock, an interior that seems awful similar to Impartial, a comparativly crap photo setup... I was going to discuss dropping the hidden identities, but I forgot. :-$ I was considering doing something similar but I don't have a second umbrella. If I ask nicely can I have a larger version... :'-) Yes, I had a lot of fun too. Using so many pieces gave me the chance to try our some interesting techniques like the curved wall (which no one commented on :'-( ) and let me build my biggest ship yet... but I think doing it again would be a bit silly. Personally I am a bit sick of the colour problems. I would be interested in a diferent limit like weight, or even none, and/or a set theme. Steampunk sounds fun but I am open to anything. Some themes, like castles, I do find hard though due to piece limitations. (My windmill is dark grey at the top mostly because I ran out of light grey. :-| ) But we can discuss this later. I quite liked your MOC and when I first saw it I thought it would win, especially since you went for beautiful and I went for brutish! :-D As I said via EMail at the time... Interesting indeed; it was a near reverse of last time! :-P I was hoping to have it posted today but we had to go out shopping. I will try to do it tomorrow. I look forward to seeing your photos. *sweet* I best be off as I have taken twice as long as I planned to do this post. :-| Thanks for the fun! *sweet*

COMPETITION! Design and build a household item from LEGO!
Siegfried replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in Special LEGO Themes
...and I love yours! :-D That is a great entry! I love the "cheese". :-P I wonder if it actually would work. Are you planning on trying it out? The question is; are mice smart enough to resist the urge to pull... 8-| Stunning photo by the way. (How many pictures did it take? X-D ) -
Are Scala Elements in a 'System' Creation Legal?
Siegfried replied to SirNadroj's topic in General LEGO Discussion
But that was the entire point of this topic! Silly or not, as SirNadroj said later on; Sure people can do what they want with Lego. If they want to stick it up their bum and call that a MOC that's their business. But SirNadroj wanted to know what Lego pieces we thought were legal. I made the point about the usage of the word "Legal" as with your Lincoln Logs example you were pretty much saying that anything is legal, Lego or not. That seemed so silly to me that I thought you must be using "Legal" in its literal sense. Now I am even more confused. -
Darn. It's happened again. I agree with Chuck. :'-(

Are Scala Elements in a 'System' Creation Legal?
Siegfried replied to SirNadroj's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Remember that "Legal" is being used in the context of accepted parts usage. That's it. In programming the word is used as well, and in that context it just means to do things within the accepted language rules. SirNadroj wasn't implying that he might go to jail over this. -
Well you asked for instructions or an idea! I went for the easy option and gave you an idea! How about this 8104 and 8105 combiner?
-
Actually I prefer my mechs to look mechanical too! *sweet* I don't make many though... (What I used to love as a kid was the vehicle Voltron. *wub* )
-
I still like mine, but I already consider it spare parts. I leave Harry Potter in the torture bubble because he deserves it! >:-) My advice is similar to MicVash; use it with another set. However, I did find this.. ...which is made from 8104. I recomend you do a Brickshelf search and see what else you can find. *sweet*

Cool! I prefer the real one. *sweet* (You know, I think that is impossible, not improbable... :-P )

Great work! *sweet* I love the working elevator; is there any track for the carts in it? Contry to what most other seem to be saying, I like the walls and floor as they are. This is a mine after all, not a cave, so IMHO the wall should be largely straight. Besides, this is your style and I don't want you to change too much otherwise you wouldn't be you! I have always seen your MOCs as attempts to make possible official sets as opposed to hyper detailed oh-my-gawd-that-looks-real creations. To me your MOCs are more about the idea and story, and less about fancy techniques. The lights work great too. Hopefully Lego will bring them back this year. They have been implying that lately...

Thanks for another interview. Perhaps we should have a clone preference poll... or is that a case of "Don't ask, don't tell"?

Hurrah for big behinds! *sweet*

Congrats! (I beat my wife at Soul Calibur III the other night.)

I wish I could agree but I doubt it. The costs of sets would double and parents would simply not buy them. If they did these as UCS Exo-Force they might sell well, but I can't see that happening. UCS seems to only succeed with Star Wars.

Thanks for posting this. I might look into it tomorrow. *sweet*

Are Scala Elements in a 'System' Creation Legal?
Siegfried replied to SirNadroj's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Well, as *yoda* said, you asked the wrong question. You probably could you that but why would you want to? *wacko* I still might buy a baby though! :-D -

Siegfried replied to SirNadroj's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Those babies are pretty cheap! I've added one to my Bricklink wanted list and I'll see what I can do with one! X-D -
2008 Technic Line Up
Siegfried replied to paul_delahaye's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
:-D You don't want much! That model would cost at least 300 USD, if not closer to 1000, but I am sure that you already know that! That is probably my favourite Technic site. *wub* -
Welcome to Eurobricks. *sweet* So.... er... do you like Lego? 8-|
-
Yes, it is a pretty cool site. *sweet* I like his cover page. Very interesting mod of the 7249 crane. :-D How can you be sure? The Japanese did largely invent Mech/Mecha afterall.

Indeed. I think Verhoeven was trying to make a Alien/Starship Troopers/Beverly Hills 90210 hybrid. :-/ I still like the movie, but it is not Starship Troopers. I like a lot of the concepts in it actually, including . I've read it several times but I should read it again. I liked the talking bomb. :-P I was very surprised that didn't make it into the movie. :-|
