  1. I've been wanting to make a road/Rail vehicle for months and I have at last got around to it this week! It's loosely based around a Unimog, hence the circle on the front of the truck. (It's supposed to represent a Mercedes Benz logo...) I did the rails in the standard way. In road mode. I changed it slightly in this picture; the dish is removed and is replaced with grills. Any opinions on what works better would be appreciated. As a free bonus here is my modified 7898 crane. I didn't like the reach it had so I changed the boom... but now it has stability issues :-| so I might trash it and start from scratch. Thanks for looking and any comments are appreciated, especially on the dish! :-P
  2. Congrats fair princess. *wub*
  3. You're confusing that with rain on your wedding day... ;-)
  4. Exactly! :-D I just didn't say "Subway" as I didn't want my meaning to be lost in translation. (Are there Subways in France?)
  5. True, but Cap'n SlyOwl's entry is so good that I don't care! :-D By the way, have I ever told you that your entry at a casual glance reminds me of a salad sandwich? My mouth is watering right now thanks to you! X-D
  6. This is quite amazing! A tied tie breaker! :-D
  7. So I did the wrong thing? 8-| I'm in twouble now.... *sing*
  8. I always penalise entries for overlap when voting, but I still think his is the best. It's just such a great idea! *wub*
  9. Well I think if anyone who posted the MOCs claimed that it wasn't for attention they would be kidding themselves! :-D But aside from attention it is also good to get feedback and I also hope that by posting MOCs I encourage people my age to keep building. I plan on posting a MOC today for comments as I am unsure of a particular design... (Good topic BTW! *sweet* )
  10. I voted for TheBrickster and Cap'n SlyOwl. *wub* Both entries are freaky but for different reasons. Thanks to those who have voted for me so far! *sweet* (It looks like Vaders fear tactics are working; at this stage he has twice the votes of anyone else in his heat! :-| )
  11. MP3s and unprotected AAC files can be transferred to iPods. *sweet* (What happened to your PSP? ;-) )
  12. Actually it's Hinckley's MOC for the Gylman character. Or were you joking....
  13. Dock his pay! >:-)
  14. Welcome to Eurobricks! *sweet* We have a fair few honorary Australians here. ;-)
  15. Thanks for posting this as I really wanted some better views of my house. :-P It looks like a fun place to live; I like the roof hatch and the towers. I hope we didn't leave you as the figure head for too long! X-D Do you have plans to show the interior of my house? Yours is really great. *wub* I wish I really did live there... but I don't think I could handle the lifestyle. (Don't get any funny ideas; I mean the whacking on the head all the time part...)
  16. I'm just being a smarty-pants. :-$ Hopefully you never have the experience! :-P
  17. You'd change your mind if you were forced to spend a day in one... Somethings are supposed to be blocky; most helicoptors aren't massively streamlined. Ultimatly thought that picture is too limited to be sure. An oldie but a goodie! *wub* I really want one of those.
  18. I bought my passenger train in Toyworld but I needed to buy the cargo train from S@H.
  19. There is more than enough room in the Passenger plane for that! :-D Welcome to Eurobricks... but your name is perplexing. Isn't half of New Zealand in Australia and the rest backbacking in Europe? ;-)
  20. Beautiful! *wub* That is very high on my want list and that raft is perfect. The shark is a cool touch too! :-P I can't wait for better pictures. :'-(
  21. Welcome to Eurobricks! *sweet* What themes feed your addiction? (Subtle promotion by the way. :-/ )
  22. But I like boxy! :-D That was the problem of my MOC; I made it too big and complicated and thus it was hard to photograph. I tried to highlight what I thought were the better parts, but maybe I was wrong! :-P Thanks. *sweet* I hope you do build your own.
  23. But you can't directly order it from that page; it re-directs to shop@home so I stand by my point that there is no problem. Honestly; three ships and a harbour of that size for that price ($130 for me, but I got mine for $100 *sweet* ) is unbelievable, even if it was twice the price.
  24. That's pretty good for 10 minutes! :-P I have a soft spot for tracked robots. :'-) I like the head idea. *sweet*
