COMPETITION! Design and build a household item from LEGO!
Siegfried replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in Special LEGO Themes
...and it's better than you made out too! :-D That's a smart design. I was considering making a castle wall pen holder at first... (Black is a pain to photograph isn't it...) -
There is no for-sure rule, but my only Viking set that isn't broken is the longboat, but I modified that (to give it 10 rowers mostly) so I am not sure if I will. Well it didn't turn up in the November toy sales, and the new sets will start appearing soon... EDIT: It turned up today in K-Mart! :-| My wife being the kind one she is let me buy it anyway. :-$

The Many Adventures of the Whacker and the Walrus issue #4
Siegfried replied to Hinckley's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Good work! *sweet* To my surprise that head goes for about $1.50... -
It's my new policy that all my trucks use those wheels. :-P I think the scale is better. Actually I wanted to, but I was out of black slopes. :-$ How's this then? :-P I love them. Lego haven't done one by itself for a while. :-/ Thanks! It gives me a dual purpose truck for my town, and I will probably make a different back for it. I did try a few "noses" but I kind of like this one. X-D It's probably wrong though. Looking though Brickshelf it turns out that there are a few Unimogs there, most do have the same nose length as mine, but none do it my way. I'm not sure if that's good or not! :-P I got it the same time as my head, but I hadn't found an excuse until now to show it. X-D I was planning a double train feature, but in the end I didn't like the crane enough. I only showed it so people know that it's possible. I haven't decided yet if I will trash the lot or re-design the stabilisers. :-/ Thanks for the great comments and tips everyone! *sweet*

Oddly she loses her breasts then. It's like they are part of her dress or something... *wacko* -

Well, they are just hidden! I could post a picture of her with yellow legs if you prefer. X-D -
Cool! I haven't decided if I will enter that or not. At the moment I am enjoying catching up on planned MOCs too much. :-P

Nice way to introduce your new Sig-Fig! *sweet* Hopefully he will have time for a visit to the pub prior to his next adventure! :-D
-
Congrats copmike! *sweet* Yours was the best looking car so the win is deserved. Annoyingly I think all three entries deserved to win for but diferent reasons. Batbrick's for example was a great entry... but his looks like a Jack-o-lantern not a pumpkin. ;-) (Surprising entry from an Australian actually....)

Killing the Dead Contest Semi-finals POLL
Siegfried replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Ooops! Imagine my embarrasment.... X-D They name them the same way in Australia too, just like McDonalds do. I suppose it's all part of the experience! :-P (I'm actually comfortable with both systems as I served on US made ships with imperial fittings.) -

No. I don't think you will do it. :'-( Yeah.... I had a point to make there but I didn't seem to make it. :-$ Not yet, but I really should as I suspect it will save me a lot of time. Ahh! That set has a lot of good parts in it! Thanks for answering the questions. *sweet* I might have to update my Bricklink list! :-P -

Six inches eh? 8-| -
I am interested in Female 1 and 2 (must be the breast :-$ )... but how hard are the decals to put on? I had decals for a model once and I think that had water slide style ones and I ruined many of them. :'-( In my defence they were very small...

Errr... sorry. That's a great post. The internet has been a huge blessing for AFOLs. I was stunned when a few years ago I found out that there are many other people with my interests out there. I'm not sure if I would have got back into Lego if I thought that I was the only one. I like to do things that give back what I have gained from the community, and that's one reason why I try to do reviews. (I just made a fruit cake with half a bottle of bourbon in it! *wub* )

Thanks guys! *sweet*

Another great interview, with some surprising twists; like Holodoc I am surprised at your set selections. I had no idea you even liked cargo and train, and I would have thought you would choose fire sets! :-$ The good thing for you (and me) with the new push for cargo sets there is a good chance for a freight station... :'-) After reading this interview I actually feel like I know you a bit better. *sweet* (I do think though that the distrations were a bit much this time.... 8-| )

You are the best. I love you. *wub* Your perfect creations make me realise how pitiful my talents are. Your photograph skills make me feel like I am using a camera phone by comparison. How's that? Want more? :-P
-
Very smart! *wub* I love that cow; if I was to pick a second favourite fabuland character it would be the cow. (Number three would probably be the elephant.) I have no idea of how you could do Zaphod, but I bet Chuck could think of a way. :-P Great work. *sweet* :-P Is there a Walrus mech coming? :-D
-
I gave up waiting for 7699 MT-101 Armored Drilling Unit to turn up in a store and bought it at S@H. To make the postage worthwhile also got 10173 Holiday Train. *wub* I agree. I bought that set for the dragon. :-$

I thought this was the best MOC of the last comic. *wub* I think you have captured the style. I am stunned that you built it up so high! I would have thought that you would have just split the monster in half... As others have said, it probably looks too good to be abandoned; the entire beautiful roof is perfect. I probably should stop looking at your houses though. I plan on making "my" house soon and if I'm not carefull I might sub-consciously steal one of your great designs. :-P I was admiring your fire station yesterday... *wub* (Do you have a lot of those trees or do you keep moving them around?)

I live to serve. ;-)
