I am still stunned how well good both of the MOCs looked for only 50 pieces. *wub* Phase III should be a stunner! Hmmm... did I really say that? I could swear that I said "The base plate seems too dominant" which yes, would have forced you to change the boiler, but I don't recall even mentioning the boiler until version two. Time will tell I suppose! I am a bit concerned thought that with all those gears there might be too much resistance and the teeth will jump. While making my windmill I tried to gear it up as much as possible, but I found that since I didn't have enough room to secure the gears on both sides they wiggled too much under load. :-$ I think you have... thanks! *sweet* I'll try to be more helpfull and less confusing in future. :-P :-P I like the picture too; I can send you a bigger version if you want. It's from my Crossing the Line Ceremony about ten years ago. (Gee, was it that long ago... 8-| ) When sailors cross the equator for the first time they are initiated. In that picture I was covered with something repulsive while showing respect to "King Neptune". We never were told what it was, but I suspect it was rotting food, puke... that kind of stuff. We were then made to stand in a bin of the stuff, then we were permitted to jump over the side. The overalls that I was wearing were thown out afterwards! :-P I wasn't aware you have picked up so much Sinnerish! 8-

When I saw this topic I ignored it as I pictured a long featureless dock.... :-$ Silly me! This is beautiful and it really captures the theme. I'm not sure if you want to hear this, but IMHO the yellowed bricks make it look better! It's really good to see a high dock and I love those ladders. The tiled brick effect on the main building work vey well. I want more! I think if you extend it more you should go deeper, not wider.

Is this better? Sorry, I should have been clearer. That was just me ranting about why I think the engines should be outside, it was not meant to be seen as advice on engine details. (I'm not that good on engine details anyway!) I don't think you should make your engines look like a featureless box as that would be boring. Finding a balance between reality and interestiness is something that I need to work on... :-/ Not sure at this stage. I spent a while looking at the way it is, but I couldn't find any obvious places. Do you have a plan for restraining it in place, or is it going to be either up or down? Sorry. :-$ It would have been a fun conversation to watch though; S: Sinner is ranting again! H: What about, ships? S: Yes :-| I have no idea what he is on about and I don't think he does either! I wouldn't buy one of these as a smart phone without external storage isn't... well... smart. Apple like it that way so you are forced to buy a new one later. :-| Actually you are a bit confused. There has been only one iPhone release with two models, one with 4GB and the other with 8GB. I think it was Hogwarts. I don't like Harry Potter, or most of the sets, but it was half price. *sweet* Harry Potter sites at half price are great parts sets. I got the The Durmstrang Ship and "Rescue from the Merpeople" for half price too!

Back on topic (this could be a first for me!) I really like this. *wub* The colours are really odd (especially the roof), but I still think it works. Why is the clock in the middle of the tower and not the top? That tree is really cool and I think the rushing river effect works well. Which one of the mini-figs is you? :-D The pillow fight was a nice touch! (Thanks for including "me"!) Overall I rate this MOC as 3.1415926535897932.
