  1. I think people are confusing "Like" with "I can find a use for this". For example I like the Lego version of Boba Fett... and I have in the past wanted an alien or two. Likewise, I wanted to own a Harry Potter mini-fig...so I could be mean to him. But as a person who thinks Harry Potter is overrated, I don't like it... It does seem that you like them though... :-P
  2. He gets loads of encouragement.... positive and negative. X-D To prove a point once I spend an afternoon making a ship with his Lego and only his Lego and I regretted it as he then broke it into sections and then claimed it as his own work. :-/ I'm sure he'll get there eventually. :-P I look forward to it. I really should try and meet you one day... :-P
  3. Welcome to Eurobricks.... and a second bonus welcome for being an Australian! :-D I'm actually considering moving to Melbourne... 8-|
  4. Wow! That is nice! *wub* I've added it to my wanted list. X-D
  5. Sounds like a fair swap. I'd go for it if I was you.
  6. Please note that all the dates you mentioned were from Australian catalogs. Unless you are Australian you really should ignore the dates. *sweet*
  7. :-$ Thanks! For a 3-5 year old, I think they are pretty good. I love the enviro house. :-P My boy (who is about 5) after watching Beast Wars season 2 was inspired by the giant head that Megatron became. At first I thought this was a good thing, but he just ripped off the head of a Piraka and told me "This is a head ship". :-| On the rare occasion that he does make something good it tends to be crashed by him half an hour later.... which leads me to my question; was this your decision to keep these when you were 5? If so I am stunned; you would have been a quite remarkable child... I wanted to keep a lot of my stuff but I always wanted to build more! :-P Eitherway you are so lucky to have these. Thanks very much for taking the time. *wub*
  8. Strewth! 8-
  9. Nah, that doesn't appear in a store for us until March. :-/
  10. They were in the Aqua Raiders Lobster set.
  11. Thanks! It shouldn't be too hard to make it on LEGO Factory. Most of the parts are current, the only old ones are the doors. I can partially disassemble it if you want. *sweet*
  12. This is great Hinckley! *wub* I feel a bit silly not entering now; I considered doing something similar but I just couldn't think of a good way to do my head... Your solution is smarter! *sweet* The feet really make the model and shout "Fabuland"... but there still is a whisper of "Technic Guy". ;-) I am surprised though that you made the limbs so spindly; you have given it such a manly torso and it makes the arms look a bit weak... 8-| However since the torso is so well designed (especially the abs and glutes :-P ) you can ignore the small flaws quite easily. I look forward to seeing what you have planned for it! X-D
  13. I recieved 7620 Indiana Jones Motorcycle Escape on the weeked. *wub* It's a great set.
  14. Yeah, it's pretty cool. *wub* I saw this earlier today. I suspect that no matter who wins the game, there will be a fight. Just look at the tension on the faces. :-D
  15. Honestly mate, I think this could be the most pointless topic ever. No one likes the Mars Mission aliens. Even so, they don't bother me that much as unlike the Dino Attack dinos they don't take up much space nor do they add a lot of cost to the sets. If this is the price I have to pay for a theme like Mars Mission to exist, I have no complaints.
  16. There was a discussion about this recently, but I for one would love to see elves, cheesy or not! X-D I really do think though that Lego should do Greeks and/or Romans, but since the current Castle is more fantasy than fact I can't see that happening for a while.
  17. Thanks very much; I will be checking Hobart tomorrow... :'-)
  18. Spongebob sold well too... :-/ It's possible; the catalog mentions no release later than April. :'-)
  19. It's not in our catalog... :-/
  20. There is already a topic on this here, but to answer your question I sort by colour mostly. Some parts I sort by type if I feel that they are more of a function piece, for example wheels, technic bits, SNOT parts, hinges etc. I store most of my parts in 4 litre containers and sub-divide if there is too much. EDIT: Thank you kind mystery mod/admin!
  21. Happy Birthday! I bet you ordered 1000 black parts from BL for your birthday... X-D
  22. Welcome to Eurobricks; your one-stop-shop for Lego fun! *sweet*
  23. Good improvments! *sweet* Why Lego don't make their six wide trucks take 2 mini-figs really purplexes me. *wacko* I considered doing same to mine... but in the end I decided it was easier to start from scratch! :-P Maybe I was wrong... 8-|
  24. Sounds like someone is jealous. :-|
