  1. That explains so much.
  2. Don't you have to participate in one before you can host one?
  3. Come with us and you will live. It doesn't have to be like this. Despite his peaceful words, Kid still attacks Marco from the back row.
  4. Yeah, I've been trying to see Goliath's stats (since I'm kind of confused as to when you started existing) but damn club penguin is trying hack my computer. What is that?
  5. What? You're changing your mind now? Don't you like, worship the guild or something? Well, thanks to Ezeran, it's a tie now. So I guess Petaldan makes the decision. Unless... rock paper scissors? Oh hey, you're sane again. Four against two. We battling? Yes. Correct. We're mercenaries. WHAT?OOC: Ballsy move! Though if I remember correctly, didn't Ezeran block the portal with some magic? Not sure if that actually succeeded, QM should decide I guess. If he can, Kid jumps into the portal after them. If not, he just shoots an arrow or two at them.
  6. That sounds reasonable. If Petaldan wants to make a forced executive decision, then he can, and I won't stand in his way. But right now, he's complying to a democratic vote.
  7. That's three against two. Ezeran's opinion is pretty clear, but do you wanna make an official vote?
  8. It's their fault he was in these pipes in the first place.
  9. Does no one remember Trevor?Oh that's right, Timothy wasn't here. Before you showed up, we encountered the skeleton of Alphy's assistant, Trevor. He had been sent to find the root of the problem, and killed by a gelatinous blob. If it weren't for these two, he would be alive.
  10. So in quest 149, it appears we will be deciding the future of who sells tonics. What does everyone else think about whether or not the Ziegfrieds should be able to sell their own tonics?
  11. Let's put this up to a vote by the party. I still think we should just capture them. If anyone still wants to let these murderers free, cast your vote.
  12. They already have. Kid turns to face the rest of the group. Does anyone remember Trevor? The guy we came here to find? He was digested alive by some massive blob. Whether or not these two put that thing here, Trevor's blood is on their hands. By screwing with this pipe system, they caused a need to investigate. These two killed an innocent man. Making the price incredibly high due with no competition will do the same amount of damage as making a price so low to eliminate competition. But even without that, we should stay loyal to current clients, and letting these guys leave threatens our reputation and that of all of Heroica.
  13. I don't like to get involved in politics, but even an idiot like me can tell what happens if the Ziegfrieds, as well as the whole of the Sungold alliance, becomes economically independent of the Guild and the Crescent Union. If the two parties don't need each other, they'll have no reason to truly remain in peace. The Alliance can declare war on the Union without having to worry about a lack of supplies, and the commoners of Eubric will pay the price. No one wants a civil war, and I just want to get the job done for my employer. Come with us, and you can keep your lives.
  14. So is this all about splitting the monopoly of tonics then, isnt'it? You're trying to become economically independent from The Guild of Invision. Neither do I, but we can't what the genie thinks of us. Kid mostly felt no regret for his words, but hearing the child's disappointement made him feel a bit guilty. Finally, someone makes sense. Kid loads his crossbow in case the intruders make any attempt to escape. Kid sighs. Listen, I'm not being excessively violent, I'm not being irrational, and I'm sure as hell not as drunk as I was back at the hall. I'm just doing my job. We were hired by Alphy to get rid of the problem in the pipes, and here is the source of the problem. I have no loyalties to The Guild of Invision any more than I do to the Ziegfrieds. We have a job to do, and I intend on carrying that out. We cannot negotiate. Either we bring them back alive to Alphy, which would be preferable, or they die here. But no one is escaping through that portal.
  15. You're not going any where. Either we take you back to explain yourself to Alphy, or you die right here. Yep, that's us. Trigger happy murderous Heroicans. Yeah... what was that you said about the wisps? Why did you have to bring those damn flaming jukeboxes in here?
  16. Kid tries diplomacy. We were hired by Dr. Alphy to fix whatever was screwing up his experiments, and it looks like you guys are the source of the problem. He takes a deep breath in, as diplomacy is not his strong suit. It would be nice to negotiate, but any fast moves or desperate escapes and I will not hesitate to let some arrows loose. Ah hah! You were right, Timothy! Or Petaldan... was it Ezeran? Kid's memory draws up a blank. Whatever. Someone was right about something. The Ziefrieds are behind all of this.
  17. You okay there Tim? Nice legs, greenie. Kid casually reaches for his crossbow. So do you guys wanna explain yourselves, or should we skip to the part where we kill you?
  18. Kid repeats. Please die faster.
  19. Kid repeats. The songs from your homeland are terrible, Timothy.
  20. Kid does his best to feel safe despite everyone going insane around him. Petaldan, what are you doing? Although not entirely comfortable with shooting in the direction of a child, Kid attacks Wisp B from the back row.
  21. Kid loads his crossbow, wondering if he should have taken the offer. Kid attacks Wisp A from the back row.
  22. I'm just screwin' around. No one said we can't have fun down here. Let's shoot 'em.
