  1. I have a few books on uniforms, and use the internet for more obscure things, generally.
  2. I'm making some Seven Years' War Austrians, mainly for my own amusement, but I thought I'd post them here. Infantry officer Regiment "HARRACH" Infantryman Regiment "HARRACH" Jaeger: "German" type artillery: Coming next: Hungarian regiment "ERSZTERHAZY", Freikorps, Grenze troops, Horse grenadiers, Dragoons, Hussars, Cuirassiers, Carabiniers. If there's any demand I'll do some of the other countries.
  3. To clarify, hussars generally wear colpacks or busbies: Lancers and Polish troops wear czapkas: Dragoons wear shakos (usually the bell-topped french style), tarleton helmets (for britain) or the Roman-style helmet with comb: Tarleton: Comb helmet: Hope this helps.
  4. The link appears to be down. I have uploaded it again below:
  5. If you haven't seen the film. you should really do so. By far the best English-language Napoleonic film.
  6. Nice figures there. The hair in particular is excellent. ^The officer person
  7. Thanks to Norrington's version of the East India Company soldier, I can see what the seal on their crossbelts looks like (I left if off because I did not know), and I have amended the torso accordingly. EDIT: the facings have now been adjusted slightly.
  8. Ah. I kept the cloak chain off because it was part of the cloak and not the body, but you can add it on if you wish. Also, changing the button colour is a good idea.
  9. Skull man:
  10. US Marine Lietentant: To ZCerberus: It would help me if you could tell me specifically what ranks you want.
  11. As I haven't seen any of the films, I can't help you there.
  12. They all work fine for me. Anyway, they're in my BS gallery, which is in my signature.
  13. To Norrington: For the strange man with the skull, I have him drawn, but what colour should he be? Also: Do you want me to do the officer man in the foreground as well?
  14. I'm pretty busy with school at the moment, so I'll get to those when the naval things are finished, which could be a while. Just so you know.
  15. Thanks for all the pictures. The officer I made is based on a google search of "1812 US marine officer uniform" around ten pages down, and I have no idea what rank. These are much better. Thanks!
  16. Update time: US marine trooper: US marine drummer: US marine officer: I'm having a lot of trouble with finding details of US naval uniforms, as well as French ones. Any assistance would be appreciated.
  17. I can do Archduke Charles: But I can't find any pictures of the Prince of Hohenlohe yet. Also, here is something different I've been working on. A Franco-Prussian War French infantryman: Now, one of the distinctive things about these troops was the large turned-back coats they wore. Now, by using this body and this waist-cape, coloured blue on the other side, I believe a pleasing approximation of these troops can be created.
  18. This to your liking?
  19. Thanks for the help with the capes everyone, although I have uses for them other than clone troopers, which you will eventually see. As for the marines, their uniform, aside from the hat, was identical to the regular British soldier, and so the regular red coat body could easily be used. However, I'll gladly make one of you want it.
  20. Britain Mid-shipman: Lieutenant: Captain: Admiral: Next: France Actually, I'd like to make a request myself. I would appreciate it greatly if anyone could find me a waist cape template for clone troopers.
  21. I'll try my best at these. Does anyone want anything outside of USA, Britian and France?
  22. I have just one body for you all. The East India Company soldiers simply wore red coats, and so can be represented by standard redcoat bodies. Sepoy: Coming next:Perhaps American Revolutionary War
  23. British colonial soldiers part 2: late period Soldier: Officer: These uniforms can also be used by artillerymen. Cavalry: Officer of cavalry: During the later colonial period, the British teamed up with the Egyptians to fight in the Sudan. Trooper: Officer: Other Comonwealth and Colonial troops: Australian lancer: Bengal lancer: Officer of Bengal lancers: Coming next: East India Company soldiers, Indian sepoys
  24. British colonial soldiers part 1: early period Soldier: Officer: Artilleryman: Officer of artillery: The 17th lancers were a unit participating in many colonial campaigns. 17th lancers trooper: Officer of 17th lancers:
  25. Yes. That is a gorget. It was a throwback to mediaeval armour, and was worn by officers of most countries in the Napoleonic Wars just as a way to distinguish them.
