I think the skellie in the cave with the gold is justification enought that this is a pirate build It is so wonderful, the ocean in particular is amazingly well done Great work R. Dennis

Hello all my wonderful AFOL's I need some opinions and general advice if thats ok. I have a fairly succesful blog about LEGO and now my fiancée has caught the bug and wants to start her own; focusing on being the partner of a crazy AFOL, how that has made her life more interesting and reviewing certain sets on 'buget verse partner pleasing' level. This is just a quick message to see if anyone would be interested in seeing such thoughts put into word (personaly I would love this insight into my ladies mind, it helps me plan for the future). Let me know your thoughts and feeling, it would be most helpful. Cheers all

That is indeed spot on, you would do well writing these reviews instead of me that image never really clicked with me but now you've pointed it out I can totally see it if the minifigs had been something similar we could have had a historical spin off theme to rival western or ninja sadly thought we don't and we just get this slightly disapointing theme. Never mind,I'm looking at KK2 now and let me tell you theres some interesting stuff in those sets Its ganna take me a while to get all the sets though, i'm not sure if I should look at the large bionical type figures as well or not its a puzzler

I think I was about 5 when I watched the movie in the cinema, when that goat leg landed on the roof of the car I almost cried, you took me back about 20 years with one perrfect image

I have another find I would like to share with you, what I found most appealing about this build was the sensation of pure fun that came out of the picture (monkies with fishing rods, skeleies with guitars, rats eating fish, ect...) you can tell that the builder (LegoSplattface) had alot of fun here. Your right of course its all just opinion and there is alot to like about 6091/6098 I don't actually mind the look of the castle, its quite pretty from a distance and it has a nice size to it, what really bugged me about 6091/6098 was the way almost everything was built in sections (with too many large bricks)and then placed on. I can apericate what they were trying to do but it was one of the dullest castle builds ever. What I really liked about the set however was the fact that it had a drafty castle feel to it, there was plenty of space and balconies and rooms, this set has the feel of a castle keep. However IMO it just wasn't designed with AFOL's in mind and you can really tell that when building it Thanks again everyone the comments are wonderful

Being a skyrim fan I am especially fond of this build, the tree is a particular favorite as is the wooden walls. great build

The captians cabin is georgous, great build especially for a first time

The cannon coming out of the mouth is my favorite part, that will slow down any pesky persuits.

this is a really ncie find, its the type of LEGO I own in my dreams I love it

yay thank you for another one of these, this is probably my favorite, its have the simple elegance of many of the sets from the 80s, keep up the great work

yay, I was waiting for this one to be posted and you did not disapoint, its a really nice and thought out build, its just like how my childhood imagination dreamed the actual barracuda was brilliant truely brillaint, its a shame to see the series end, are you sure you can't start work on the clipper or the orignal flagship cheers

are those droid legs for railings? thats a very good idea I really like the wolf figure head too, great LDD build
