  1. That's kind of what I'm thinking will be the case. As long as they are not too small, I'm down with four legged Disney characters being "accessories." But if they made say Simba the size of that cat I guess is Rajah in the Jasmin Prince set, that's going to be kind of sad. :(
  2. Yes, I actually have that special on DVD. Anyway, I really wish LEGO would follow Scooby up with more Hanna-Barbera properties. I don't know what the details of the license is per say, but I'd love it if in the same way LEGO Batman lead later to general LEGO DC Comics, I really hope LEGO Scooby leads to LEGO Yogi Bear, Jetsons, Flintstones, Johnny Quest, etc. I've been avoiding the Scooby sets so far as I'm not the biggest fan of the show, however if some of these other properties were made, I might buy at least the Mystery Machine set to put next to my other theoretical H-B LEGO's.
  3. Fully agreed. I'm not a fan of exclusives. LEGO is expensive enough without the crazy exclusives being added in. I've seen the prices people charge for them and it's really annoying when it's a character that that is the only way you can pick it up. It kind of creates a brick wall for fans of certain characters or general LEGO fans who just want to grow their collections.
  4. Or don't challenge them and let each child decide for themselves who they want to collect. I promise you adults care about this issue way more then kids do. I've worked in enough toy stores and schools to know that without adult interference, many children go after the toys that fit their gender, and there is nothing wrong with that. Are there sometimes that a boy might want a doll or a girl might want a fire truck? Sure, but it's not the norm. Generalizations and criticisms are a two way street my friend. I fully expect a lot of disappointed little boys if they spend $4 on one of these polybags and end up with a princess figure. That doesn't make them or their parents wrong for those feelings. Anyway, I agree, this is off topic, so let's drop it. I won't answer to anymore comments on this issue myself. I for one as an adult collector and uber Disney and LEGO fan plan on picking up all of these figures, depending on who they are. Not too big on some of the newer characters, but I'd happily add Snow White and Jasmine on my shelf next to Peter Pan and Simba. For me my collection would not be complete without them. And actually, that brings up an interesting point: What are the chances of seeing four legged characters like Simba or Bambi in either this or a future wave? I'd be sad if it never happened.
  5. Fully agree! I'm really excited for this and the Giant Man figures coming next year the most.
