  1. Would you mind building the B-model aswell (and post a vid or pics ofcourse)?
  2. Im disassembling my 8466 already! And hopefully my 8458 will arive today. thx for instructions
  3. Could you try to send me one then? I already have the 4 actuators (ordered at LEGO), so there should not be a problem anymore I will try on Peeron, thanks for the tip!
  4. To get a bit back on topic: I have a question about Bricklink (Blakbird you did not receive my PM?) I ordered some (but not all) parts I missed from the 8880, however they still appear on my wanted list. Is it possible to remove the items from a completed order from the wanted list with just one click? (or do I have to delete each of the parts myself?) Also, is there a way to find out if I can build other sets with the sets I have? Example: I have 8275 and 8043 (and 4 separate small LA's). Can I build the 8069 BackHoe? (ofcourse I can check every required part one by one, but that will be timeconsuming for bigger sets!) Ty for respone!
  5. What would the functions of the B-model be? Also opening doors (and trunk)? It looks good though, and so does the A-model.
  6. Sounds great, and looks great aswell! I would like to see a few more pictures, I might try this myself TUD rocks!
  7. That looks sick indeed, and considering that I already have 8466... Do you mind sharing instructions? (for all models!)
  8. Thanks for your explanation Blakbird! For me it is indeed a matter of colour. I found a shop that still has one 8461! So it is possible to build 8458-B with 8461? As for the 8674: IT IS RED, ughh... got enough red parts!
  9. Hi all! I was wondering whether the 8458 Silver Champion and the 8461 Williams F1 have exactly the same setup, and contain the same parts. So, is it then also possible to build the 8458 B model (the truck) from the parts of the 8461? Which of the two (8458 or 8461) do you prefer, and why? cheers, RockeTeK
  10. Looks good could the images be packed in a pdf or something?
  11. A bit offtopic, but what Meccano do you have? (I have to ask it here, because I can not view your profile, nor send a PM?!?!)
  12. As said above, the 8880 has a more challenging building process. This does not only make it more fun for AFOLs, but also lets kids learn and visualize how things should be put together. If all bits are explicitely explained, there is nothing to learn, is there? Another thing ("slightly" off topic): more complicated instructions --> less paper needed --> saving money/trees, etc...
  13. @richthelegodude: Well said, I completely agree with you. My main concern with the new Technic sets is the instructions... Even my nephew of 8 could build any of the newer sets (even when it says 12+ )
  14. It seems that all the items can be purchased for around 8 euros. Thanks again for the advice Blakbird!
  15. @Sam42: This list isn't actually that big, considering that I bought the set for 35euros! @Blakbird: I am going to try it right now, thanks for help.
  16. Hello, I'm quite new here and I am not sure if this topic is placed in the right section. (This is about buying Lego, but not about general sales which is a seperate section.) Since this post is about Technic elements, I thought it should be in here, please move it if needed. I bought a 8880 set, but unfortunately it misses some pieces. I'm not really familiar with Bricklink etc. So I was wondering if someone could help me with finding the missing pieces for a reasonable price. (At Lego is not possible anymore?) Thanks in advance! List of elements: http://peeron.com/inv/sets/8880-1 Missing elements: - 1x 3005 black - 3x 4070 black - 2x 2429 black - 2x 2430 black - 4x 4504 black - 1x 3024 black - 1x 3024 TrRed - 2x 3023 black - 1x 3023 oldgrey - 3x 3623 black - 1x 3710 white - 1x 3666 black - 1x 3666 yellow - 1x 3666 black - 1x 3022 black - 1x 3022 red - 2x 2420 black - 1x 2420 oldgrey - 1x 3021 black - 1x 3020 black - 1x 3747 black - 1x 3048 oldgrey - 2x 3040b black - 1x 3665 black - 1x 3665 oldgrey - 1x 3676 black - 1x 3041px1 black - 4x 3704 black - 1x 4519 black - 4x 3706 black - 2x 3708 black - 4x 6538a oldgrey - 1x 6536 oldgrey - 1x 2736 oldgrey - 2x 6541 black - 1x 6541 oldgrey - 1x 3700 oldgrey - 1x 3702 black - 2x 3703 oldgrey - 10x 3713 oldgrey - 15x 4265b oldgrey - 1x 4143 oldgrey - 1x 3743 oldgrey - 3x 3673 oldgrey - 3x 4274 oldgrey - 3x 6558 black - 5x 2780 black - 2x 3068b black - 1x 3933 black - 2x 3934 black - 1x 2739 oldDkGrey - 1x 4275 black - 1x 4275 white - 1x 4276 black - 1x 4276 white
  17. Yes the 8258 has a great building process And it looks very good next to the 8285 tow truck!
  18. This is truly one of the best MOCs I have seen! Especially the roof top. I would love to create it myself, could you create instructions?
  19. Hello EB! As the name says: I like to fly like a RockeT (or WTF?^^) Anyway, my name is Emile, I'm 20 years young and live in Holland. Hobbys: well LEGO ofcourse; mainly Technic and Trains. I have created some stuff myself, will post some pictures of that later. Some sets I have (8043, 8258, 8275, 8285, 8295, 8297, 8436, 8455, 8460, 8466, etc.) Apart from LEGO, I'm a beginner DJ, it is always good to entertain people with music! Next, we have physics: I always like to know how things work (hey a link with Technic!). The MOC I liked the most would probably be the motorized version of the 8455 Back-Hoe, using linear actuators instead of pnuematics. Unfortunately I broke it down, but I will try to get it up again so you can see the pictures! Questions? feel free to ask
  20. From the sets I have (see my introduction), I think the 8466 and 8460 have a great building proces, though they are completely different in structure. Where the 8466 has a modular design, the 8460 has not. However, they both let you work with the gears etc from the start. Oh wait, I haven't introduced myself yet... I'm going to make a topic right now!
