  1. Heh, that would be too much to ask indeed...
  2. I recently checked all of my older sets for broken and.or missing parts. After I put together a list of items (using Peeron etc.), I sent an email to Lego Direct. They told me that they will arange something (with a special price, since it involves broken pieces). Now I'm waiting for their response. To be continued...
  3. Sorry, my bad! OT: read my post in the other topic, as stated by Nequmodiva!
  4. I am pretty sure I already posted in this topic. Could a moderator please tell me why my post has been deleted?
  5. You guys shouldve come to Holland to buy the 8043! OT: I feel like I spend more time on flipping pages, rather than building a model. I understand why TLG would simplify the instructions, but they have gone to far (imo). Example: I recently rebuilt the 8868 (Air-Tech-Claw-Rig), and what an HUGE difference between old and new... Compared to 8043, the build took about the same time, but was much more exciting with the 8868, simply because of the fact that you have to pay attention, rather than flipping the page. As said: for us AFOLs, the new style instructions might be a bit lame, but for kids, this suits better (although the simplification went a bit too far).
  6. Great collection (also the background...)
  7. I'll state what I paid for those sets below: - 8258: EUR119,- - 8275: EUR125,- - 8285: EUR125,- - 8297: EUR99,- - 8043: EUR135,- I do not own 8421 , when it was available, the price was EUR129,- (I chose to buy the bulldozer instead, silly me!) As for the price of EUR189,-, I think this is way too high. I think the Unimog will cost around EUR150,- (or I hope so...)
  8. Just tell your wallet to shut up, and go on and buy it!
  9. I would be interested in the PF elements, but not all the rest... please contact in PM!
  10. Thanks for the advice, I'll give it a go...
  11. Looks good I just bought a MISB #8829 Buggy for EUR20,- (sorry had to mention that ^^)
  12. I recently got a 8868 from someone who desperately wanted to get rid of the stuff that he called "trash". After a small negotiation I got it for EUR45,- but I think its value is around EUR100,- to EUR150,- simply because it is a classic and collectors item.
  13. I found these: - http://freelegoinstructions.com/instructions/6383/ - http://www.worldbricks.com/lego/lego-instructions/by-number/6300-6399/6383-public-works-center.html - http://www.toysperiod.com/lego-set-reference/town/classic-town/construction/lego-6383-public-works-center/ The quality is a bit low indeed... I guess you have to deal with that as long as no-one can provide a copy of the original instructions.
  14. According to Bricklink, this goes for around 80-100 euro. ($110-$135) Edit: SOLD (mod please close this topic) @ Edbrick: I might have another complete set (I need to verify that first though). If you are still interested, contact me!
  15. You can either create your own brickshelf folder, or use imagehostingsites (example: www.imageshack.us) Would like to see your mod
  16. The "brother" of this set (nr. 9748) went for around 150euros, so I think this might be somewhere near that figure aswell. Ofcourse I will consider every serious offer! I live in the Netherlands. Shipping will probably be done by DHL
  17. Hello brickers! I try to build a compressor (like the 8868 one), but I am not sure which motor to use. PF M-Motor, PF XL-Motor or should I stick to the older Motors? Regards, RockeTeK
  18. Northwinds Lego, located in Gouda, The Netherlands Great communication, good delivery, pieces are not expensive.
  19. I think it is the same type of connection like the 8466 4x4 offroader. That would yield "yes" to answer your question.
  20. Hello fellow Brickers, I found my Star Wars set #9754 sitting on a shelf catching dust. So I figured, why not sell it? This set is rare! That is (as far as I know) there have never been many of these available. It should be 100% complete, including 3 instruction booklets, but without the box. If you are interested, either send me a PM or reply to this topic. Trading is also possible, depending on what you have to offer. I post this here. After a week or two I put it on Ebay, but I'll wait for any respone first. (I did not only post it on this forum, I will update this post if I receive a reaction.) Regards, RockeTeK
