Couldn't agree more. I built my crest without any substitutions and its just incredible to look at. The official one, as had to sacrifice some proportions (especially in the cockpit) to fit an interior. Which makes sense. I'm tempted to buy the official one and just leave it in the box. I dont think i could break down Jeracs model, its just so good to look at on display!!!

I like what Lego have done with the engines, but overall, i feel the scale and proportion of yours is better. The Lego cockpit i feel is out of scale, but its still a great looking model. I wonder where Lego got their inspiration from for some of the design choices haha!

You can have my +1 🎉

Oh wow!!! Silver!?!? Is this painted? It looks absolutely incredible

No one is forcing you to pay for the instructions? The amount of effort, work, and commitment that went into this build is just staggering. Why would you not charge for it???

Ideally you need to use new bands and I found warming them up helped a lot! -

Just finished mine today! Amazing build. Goes together really well as you can imagine! Another stunning addition - thank you @StarBricks - bring on the TR! -
Hopefully you can see what I mean. I’ve slightly bent the pipe around it in the end and seems to have sorted it!

Yeah sorry that was the wrong thread haha! as it happens im busy building my Crest tonight.... i do have a quick question.... ive just added the two internal pipes to the internal bay but ive noticed that now the two cargo doors appear to touch the tube slightly and prevent it from sitting completely flush? is this by design ? if not, how have you guys fixed it? Thanks!!

I also got a wave 1 kit from BRICKSTUFF and can confirm one of my LEDs is also too short. I’ve noticed BRICKSTUFF are starting to send out wave 2 shipments so be interesting to see if they have replaced the 7cm led with a 15cm. For what it’s worth, these are standard PICO connectors… you could choose to just replace it with a compatible alternative? -
Thank you so much for taking the time to rely! I ended up redownloading it from BV and it is v84 now! Can’t wait to start building this!!
-
Thanks for the feedback guys! Do you know if the parts charged from 81 to 84? I have just finished counting and checking everything against 81! lol
-
Hello all - can someone please confirm the latest instructions are 0.81 (on the pdf document) I’m about to build this and wanted to make sure no updates had been released! Thanks all!

ISD Aggressor (Star Destroyer MOC w interior and instructions)
Kryptonic replied to Raskolnikov's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I actually managed to find one on eBay of all places! But i wanted my ISD to be 100% per spec and 100% new lego - that being said... it's completely buried in the internal frame (nose end) and you'll never ever see it lol -

The only "dodgy" connection is how the bridge goes together - putting the thing together caused it to collapse on me many many times - but other than that this thing is crazy solid! -

I ended up paying around 900 GBP for 100% new, 0 substitutions and 5 figures! -

I think the turntable should be black, not LBG... either way, if you look on Book 5, page 160 you will see where they are used... completely invisible -

I guess you could ... but i'm not sure you'd want to replace them all as a lot of the 2x4 tiles span multiple plates to give the upper and lower panels strength... it's a tough call - if you can afford it, i'd stick with the 2x4's - or at the very least 50% of them! -

It's a great OCD to have! I always buy new lego and make no substitutions, but I buy a few extra pieces then panic when I have some left over at the end haha! my own worst enemy! -

Dude - one last question.... The parts list says 58 x 50950 (LBG)... I've got one spare and I can't work out if I missed one, or if I've over ordered... From what I can work out... there is a total of 48 on the engines, and 4 on the on that dome on the underside.... I cannot for the life of me see there the other 6 are used?! Please help :-) :-) Ignore that - the final 6 are on the super structure :D
