  1. The only time I've felt bags to determine figs is in a small book store I know that sells them. Each time, I've never had any trouble, and the people in the store don't really care. One time, back when S2 was in stores, my dad was in Toronto in a Toys R Us, and, using his iPhone and help from an employee, found the only ten Spartans in the whole store.mi wish the barcodes were still around.
  2. I would think the QAR would be the best ship to go up against the IFS. I took a close look at the Skull's Eye Schooner, and it just doesn't look like it would have what it takes to sink the IFS. The QAR, on the other hand, has enough space for eight canons in total, and with the power of Blackbeard and a zombified crew, the IFS wouldn't stand a chance. Now, I know we are basing this discussion on ships that exist in LEGO form, but what about the Flying Dutchman. I know it isn't a set (yet), but it would be able to take down any ship. Here is my thought: If the FD were to be a set of similar size to the IFS, with two decks and triple-guns at the front, it would be the most feared ship ever, and the crew could just teleport themselves onto the IFS and kill the crew themselves. But, alas, the FD is not a set, which means the QAR is the best match... for now! (maniacal laugh)
  3. This gives me hope, but just a fool's hope (I had to use a Gandalf quote here! ). If this theme is real, we should probably start seeing hints by the new year.
  4. Ha, if Ben Kenobi were on the Internet. After having looked at the (lack of) evidence, this theme, as much as may want it, is looking a bit too good to be true. Now, if On Stranger Tides does in fact know something, then maybe not all hope is lost, but I have a feeling that this theme will, if it is true, have no real confirmation until next year.
  5. Finished building the QAR last night, and I must say it is spectacular. It is considerably bigger in length than the Pearl, which surprised me. My only gripe, and I have the same problem with the Pearl, is the lack of canons! Why can't LEGO give us enough canons to fill at least on full side! It would be great if it had enough canons to fill both sides, but that might be a bit much. Still, a beautiful set.
  6. Fives is my favorite clone from the series, so I really hope he doesn't die. What I really want is a LEGO version of him in his ARC armor. Also, I believe that in the new Ninjago sets, Garmadon has four arms, which gives me a feeling that Pong Krell will be in a set this summer, hopefully.
  7. These Umbara episodes look really great! Krall's voice doesn't seem to fit him. It needs to be deeper, but he still looks awesome. I really hope that this story arc doesn't see the end of too many characters.
  8. I'm not sure if anyone else has seen the new pics for the city sets, but there is a new bear mold, which would be perfect for Beorn from the Hobbit. Maybe this will come true...
  9. Wow! Just wow! This new Y-Wing looks fantastic! The new Leia is so nice, and a yellow astro droid is really great too! Thanks for the pics!
  10. I just got the Pearl this morning for my birthday and it is already finished. It truly looks magnificent when it is all completed! Davy Jones is by far the best mini fig of all time!
  11. I do believe that the eyes are printed! That is truly awesome, although it will make all the previous protocols look way less cool.
  12. All of these pics are AWSOME! The new ARC Anakin is amazing! I'm upset that they have used the CW hair for both Anakin and Obi-Wan, but the faces and the figs in general make up for that! I love the alternate faces, even if the evil one kinda just looks like he is high. The new Stormtroops are great! I can see many Tatooine (or just battlefield) based MOCs in the future thanks to these two guys! Also, 3P0 is really great! I'm upset there were no up close pics of Obi-Wan or Gunray. I'm really happy they have done the continuation of the Jedi tunic onto Anakin's legs. I've thought that they have needed to do this for a long time. Thanks for the pics!
  13. Wait, so is Jabba's Palace confirmed?
  14. This whole canon conversation is becoming really off topic, so all I'm gonna say about TCW canon is this: It is George Lucas's universe. He created it, and he can mess it up as much as he wants. TCW show is not as much to provide more insight into the story of Anakin Skywalker, but more to explore parts of the SW universe that haven't been explored yet. I mean, yeah, they screw with some stuff along the way (I hated it when Even Piell died, I liked his previous death better) and Lucas is just exploring adventures in his universe for fun. Now, I know that there are a lot of fans out there who really get upset when something is distorted by this show, but I guess I just don't get so upset. I myself have my own personal canon. I think TFU 2 is not true, but the first game is. I also have not read many books or comics, so I have no say in those matters, and whatever is considered true in that respect, is true. Anyway, this canon talk should probably stop soon, and hey, we have another great episode to look forward to tomorrow!
  15. I've noticed some things about the new ARC Trooper fig that I'm curious about: His pauldrons are not the same as Palpatine's shoulder pads, so what are they? They look to be a new cloth piece. What is on his back? It looks like one of those clip parts, but does he have something else back there? His antenna is red. Is this just prelim? (I believe it is not, but just unsure)
  16. I just noticed the ARC Troopers leg is bent backwards! He has a new kama! Look carefully, and you will also see that his legs seem to be black or dark red with some white printing on the front. He is definitely the coolest clone fig yet! I wonder if his face will be special, like with stubble or anything, so as to distinguish him from basic troops?
  17. Well, there is Hoth with either a Snowspeeder and a Rebel Pilot or a AT-AT and a driver, Geonosis and a Gunship, Mustafar and Padme's ship with a pregnant Padme, Kashyyk with a wookie and a catamaran, Utapau and Grievous's wheelbike, and maybe some stuff from the CW (but hopefully the planet sets will stay strictly to the movies).
  18. I must be the only one around here who is REALLY EXCITED FOR MAUL TO RETURN! I mean, he was the most badass of all of Sidious's apprentices, and as they said in that article, he was really underused in TPM. I believe that if they have a believable way for him to return, this will become one of the best stories in all the Clone Wars series.
  19. Those pics are great! Now, for my thoughts: Escape Pod: Awesome! I could tell this set was gonna be great! 3P0 looks nice with an updated torso, and the Stormies look fantastic! My only gripe with this set is the swoop bike looks a bit squished and small. Geonosian Turret: Better than I had expected! Gree looks really great, and so does... well, all the other figs! The canon itself is a major improvement from 2003's version. X-Wing: I must say, my least favourite of the wave. It only has a few minor changes. Unless there is some great unseen improvement, it just seems OK. As for the R4 unit TIE Fighter: Wow! What an improvement! It looks perfect, and the cockpit screen doesn't jut out or anything! Also, with all those great figs (well, they would all be new to me), how could I not get this! BPs: These BPs have great figs, but OK builds. The ARC is by far (at least for me) the star of the wave! Also, those Commando Droids look really great and will be an awesome addition to my Sepparitist army. As for the Endor one, it is nice to see a new version of the Rebel Commando, but other than that, I could probably build the set myself. That being said, I will probably get two of each set (I'm one of those army builders who is really unhappy if I have uneven groups of soldiers, so I would need two ARCs and two new Rebels.) Planet sets: These are just really cool. I will get all of them, just so I can have the planet itself. The ships are cool, and some of the figs are really great (particullarly Lobot and the new AT-ST driver). Overall, this wave is gonna be better than I had thought!
  20. I found this episode to be quite strange. The Aleenas were annoying, yet somehow cute. Wolffe is by far the coolest clone ever! Also, that Kindalo (tree people) were really neat. I've been seeing a lot of people saying how this was nothing like SW, and I get where this is coming from. But nothing is more SW than R2 and 3P0. They were great, especially 3P0. Orphne was wierd. All in all, It was ok, but an episode concentratig on the Kindalo would be a lot better.
  21. All of those sets sound possible, except for the Felucian Fighter and the Old Republic fighter. Jabba's Palace would be nice. Other thatn that, tis list isn't that impressive. Hopefully there will be more, better sets closer to the release.
  22. As linked to above, the colour is green because Anakin had a green interceptor while going to Mustafar. Also, the Clone Wars figs are just place holders for the newly designed figs that will actually be appearing in this set. Honestly, this set and the escape pod are the only sets that really stand out for me in this wave.
  23. I believe that some one brought it up before, but the MMV came out before the last wave of Castle. That could be the case with this set. Maybe they will release three or four final sets with some Falcons as the bad guys.
  24. This thursday I am planning on getting the Kingdoms King's Castle and Mill Village Raid. I'm getting myself ready to have a nice big collection when the Joust comes out.
  25. The set is now viewable (at least in Canada) on LEGO Shop @ Home. Nothing new, but the main pic they show is of one set.
