  1. I've never played Overwatch and this is the coolest thing I've seen all week! Great job @hachiroku!
  2. I definitely do not look at the Cho Chang minifigure and think she looks black. There's more to a person's appearance than skin color. As an East Asian - I couldn't care less what color they use to represent East Asians. If it helps you, imagine she just got back from holiday somewhere warm and sunny!
  3. I don't want to be the bearer of bad news - but there's a chance some of this stuff is just the imagination of the writers of the book. Nexoknights had a book (Titled "The Book of Monsters") with tons of new characters with new molds and none of them ever saw the light of day. In fact, the second wave had figures that were not present in the Nexoknights book. Even though there's a chance this stuff won't be made - i still have my fingers crossed for new molds of all these characters.
  4. I collect all the Mighty Micros sets (both DC and Marvel). I was always a big fan of Muppet Babies and I see these as the Lego version of Marvel's A-Babies/X-Babies (see below). Although Wolverine has an odd amount of facial hair for a baby! As for Juniors/4+ - I pick them up when they're must haves. I'm saying I'll pass on Doc Ock right now but I know I'll pick it up eventually when releases are slow.
  5. Agreed! I love A-Bomb and Skaar. I worry the ubiquity of Bruce Banner Hulk in the MCU will keep them out of sets.
  6. Good call, @Quicksilver838! I absolutely love the Maestro!
  7. YES! More big figs to flesh out the Marvel theme! I'd love an official Juggernaut - my full list is a mile long so I'll spare you all. But please - no more Bruce Banner Hulks. We've had enough Bruce Banner Hulks.
  8. This is brilliant! Maybe a conversion is in order...
  9. True, Lego does not do realistic military vehicles. But I have a different theory: In the comics the Punisher steals the War Machine suit. After a series of events James Rhodes has PTSD regarding his suit and helps regain control over a rampaging mech-like vehicle called the Manticore (pic related). It feels so comfortable and intuitive that Tony Stark purchases the Manticore from the (evil) owner, Baintronics, for James. TL;DR - James Rhodes gets a giant hybrid vehicle in the comics called the Manticore and A4 will follow suit. Or it could end up being a truck or jet.
  10. Can confirm. I called stores a few minutes ago in Ft. Myers Florida and Chicago Illinois (I travel for work). Both gave the same info - November 17th street date, purchase over $75.
  11. The bridge we got with Kraven, Scorpion, and the GG was very nice, too. I think it was called Web Warriors Bridge Battle.
  12. I thought I was the only one that dreamed of a set with Cosmo...
  13. Regarding the Harry Potter Bricktober pack in the USA - I've reached out to a few Barnes and Nobles in the Greater Chicago Area and managers don't seem to know about it. I'm wondering if the set will be released towards the end of Bricktober rather than the beginning. Hope this information helps.
  14. Hi all. Long time lurker, infrequent poster. If you're flexible about using custom products there's a really nice helmet that works for the Wasp in my opinion. See attached:
  15. Lego doesn't necessarily understand or prioritize height: Exhibit A: Rocket Raccoon should be half the size of a human. For accurate height they would have had to make a new mold. Exhibit B: Groot should only be slightly taller than a human. Instead we have a brick built Groot that's as tall as the brick built Giant Man. Exhibit C: Hulkbuster should be slightly taller than the Hulk. Instead the Hulkbuster is nearly twice the size of the Hulk. Cull Obsidian will be a big fig. So far the Infinity War minifigs have been all about what's economical. It makes the most economical sense to base the mold on the standard big fig chassis.
  16. I just stumbled across the IW Thanos fig. I'm definitely happy he's a big fig and not brick-built. I think he would have been weird looking as a brick-built fig.
  17. @TheLegoExperience The cape isn't starched. It's the soft fabric. Hope this helps.
  18. I couldn't agree more. The different colored eyes are very off-putting because of the scale. The Disney CMF had colored eyes. IIRC Alice, Ariel, and one other all had blue eyes...
  19. If anyone's interested while we wait for the NY Toy Fair news...the Funko stuff is already up on their site including a Spider-Man in his homemade suit with the goggles. I'm getting hopeful. :) https://funko.com/blogs/news/toy-fair-ny-reveals-spider-man-homecoming
  20. good info, N_Cat! I never heard of this before. Thanks!
  21. N_Cat...do it...it will open up so many possibilities. There is no way Lego will ever make a Punisher. And Dagger and Black Cat's outfits are to risque to be minifigs. I used to have an aversion to knockoffs. But i had a greater aversion: That abomination of a brick-built figure they called "the Rhino". Plus you'll never finish the X-Men without customs. Happy hunting!
  22. In addition to Kamala Khan having elongated arms it looks like she has a giant fist. Could be interesting.
