Avalonia Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion
Niku replied to Derfel Cadarn's topic in Guilds of Historica
Hello again guys this is my entry for the King of the Castle Free Build. Mornie Alantie, Mornie Utulie. The Capital City of the Arfelan Plains. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=75250 -
Thank you Kai, it is intended to be a sort of a small fort built on a great tree, using the branches as towers, the forestmen try to use the more they can the natural shapes to camouflage themselves. Cheers soccerkid, I was wondering if the quantity of forestmen was not too much as for to give the sensation of being to crowded. Greetings.

Capital city of the Arfelan domains, is the second major city on the plains. Mornie Alantie, Mornie Utulie was founded by High Elves many centuries ago, as a place of devotion for fallen héroes, where tales of their deeds and major important events were preserved, nowadays it continues to function as its primary objective was meant, to honor those who have fallen on service to Avalonia, so their memory is not lost over time, and serving to inspire new generations for greater accomplishments. Many temples and shrines can be found on their interior well traced paved streets. The city serves as administrative headquarters over all domains of Arfelan, near the border with Kaliphlin. The city also holds the Order of the Immortals, the elite heavy cavalry of the Explorers of Albion, the Order is well known as a formidable force in battle, and they serve as magistrates when on duty, bringing justice to the people. Their habitants live secure within the walls knowing that an ancient power resides on the inner city and with the vision of the sharpened blades of their warriors, that sparkle in the sun. Back part of the main entrance, a normal day on the city. Nikutai Arfelan receives the visit of Lord deGothia to seal a new alliance within their domains, and to collaborate on recent issues about the Elementals, the Drow, and the refugees of Avalonia. This build is at the moment my biggest creation, I depleted my gray and green pieces, but I am satisfied with the final result. Comments and Criticism is very much apprecciated. Greetings to all.

Hello again I submit my entry for the Prince of the Forest Free Build. This is the topic. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=75237 Greetings. -
On the few but dense woods that surrounds the Arfelan Plains, dwells a few forestmen and outlaws, which are well known for their skill in stealth and archery, they live at peace and disturbing no one, they are loyal to Avalonia but are very reserved and like to mantain it that way their domains, so any invaders that surpass their borders without their permission may not found, the last forests on the plains, a place to call secure. Greetings.

I completely agree with both of you, the pics have enhanced my opinión about the sets for good, the only ones I find kind of weird aré the Lion sets. Hoping ontheir second wave we can see a temple or more locations, instead of so Manu vehicles.
-
I am surprised of how Wellington these sets look in general. Might get some of them. :D
-
I am interested too with this information, is it also available at internet?
-

I think every member constructive critic of GoH is very valuable for the whole group to develop as to be left outside. I hope everyone remains in here participating. For you are great builders. -
That box is very eye appealing, and more child friendly. I like it.
-
That Deep Wall is insanely large.
-
Hi, probably another review will help to decide if obtaining or not this set. In my case, is now on the wishlist.
-
To square or not to square? Back on topic, I am glad this 5th challenge it will be running until November, that way there is more time to organize for building.
-
That was great, a total destruction mess. Is like a sand castle on the beach.
-
Oin is great. Thanks.

It is a relief to hear that, but in the other hand, is one of the most expected and awesomely designed theme, so it should be no surprise that is selling so well. I would expect another wave of sets on summer 2013 for LOTR, been Gondor the next realm to cover. Ps. I just opened my Uruk Hai Army set, and it is fantastic, such a great set that looks so well, its form and the minifigs are just wonderful, I will have to get some more of those.
