Hi everybody, I'm John, 31 years old (2015), I live in Lille, north of France. I had my first Lego at 5 years old, I tried some themes and get stuck on Castle Theme when I was 9, Majisto was the first with his little shop (obviously named Merlin when I was 9) and a minifigs box with 3 Dragon Knights and one Wolfpack Renegade guy. The wolf guy and Majisto was good guys. Then at 11, I had in about 2 years the entire collection of the Lion Royal Knights, so my medieval story began :-) About 4 years ago, I finaly had the Dragon Knight Castle I so wanted when I was 11 so finally there was the good Lion guys on the hand, and the bad Dragon guys on the other hand. So, I completed my originals sets with other different themes sets or minifigs you can create in Lego Store (queen, prince, princess, maids, witch, castle intendant...), and minifigs from the series (mermaids, centaur, ogre, witch, female bohemian, forest female, leprechaun, genie, scarecrow, fairy etc.. etc.. now I have a good collection CMF). Later I realize Merlin couldn't live at Lion castle, with his family&friends, too many people in the Royal castle, it's not so big...so I customed him a real lair combining 4729 Dumbledore's Office and 4867 Hogwarts. With that, all the magic family has a real place. Ditto with the bad guys, so many characters and stories now, there wasn't so place in the two big Dragon Knights sets, so I turned 6097 Night Lord's Castle into the Dark Castle with sorcerers, vampires, demons, witches, subordinates etc... Now I'm 31 and still add some characters and sets in this medieval story, changed since 3 years ago as a "Medieval Fantasy Story" with spatiotemporal flaws [allows me the include Castle + pirates (collection when I was 9 + new) + City (cmf, costumed guys, TBBT, Space..) + LOTR/The Hobbit + Harry Potter + Pirates of the Caribbean + Elves + Star Wars + Super Heroes + BTTF + Scooby Doo + Santa Claus + Indiana Jones + Ninjago + Simpsons + Ghostbusters + Egypt + Female Scientists + Disney Princess + Friends + The Lone Ranger + The LEGO Movie + Scorpion Creator or just Creator + dinosaurs + ... ] So I kept the storyline I had when I was kid [i was also playing with the other themes I had (pirates, town, aqua-thing...), Merlin has had some issues with magic and brought some people of other worlds and other time.] Now, the spatiotemporal flaws have different origins, and the story is much more sophisticated. Finally all is about family, friendship, maybe love but included in family, friendship, relationships, noble-mindedness... Soon, I'm gonna take in shop the Doctor Who set to add him in the Medieval Fantasy Story, more for the set, less for the characters except that wonderful angel :) That's all folks :)

Finally got them today in France. I was sure to have the tribal woman (feeling the baby) and clumsy guy (feeling the crutch) and then no :o So, monday ! The skunk is so cute, the queen and flying warrior are awesome (from my memories it's the first time we have brickable pieces in a bag? the pieces to hold the wings), the faun is awesome too (the headpiece with ears&horns) but I'm sure there are gonna have some discussions here about the legs. I mean the legs are great, but to make this, LEGO had to find a compromise, so the faun can't sit down and there no holes at the back... I love this minifigure but just one neg point, not sitting down :( espiecially if the piece is reuse for Beast in Disney Series. The knight and the mass are great and his face is cool with one teeth out of mouth. The Kendo guy and Laser Mech are really good too. To finish, just to try I put the Mc Gyver mullet piece on the janitor, it's a funny combinaison :)

I loved Gargoyle it was quite popular here in France, the french opening is still on Youtube :) In 90's, we got programs like 'Disney Club' or 'Disney Parade' with Disney Movies, tv show (Gargoyles, TaleSpin, Goof Troop, Scrooge McDuck, Darkwing Duck, Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers, Aladdin, The little Mermaid, The Gummi Bears, Winnie the Pooh etc...) Some great moments as a child :) I'd love in future series some characters like Baloo (from TaleSpin - Super Baloo in French), Darkwing Duck (named Myster Mask in French), the Junior Woodchucks (les Castors Junior) with Junior Woodchucks Guidebook (manuel des Castors Junior), Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers (Tic & Tac Rangers du risque) etc...

Thank you about Funko information. :) Scrooge McDuck, Junior Woodchucks or Darkwing Duck, in Disney series 2, 3, 4, 5 ? meaning 2, 3, 4, 5 years ? Maybe possible as classics ?

I don't know if the image will appear, but is this Pete you're talking about ? In French, his name is Pat Hibulaire which is the namesake of patibulaire/sinister in English. Is this Pete/Pat Hibulaire you're talking about ? If it is, I'm totally agree Pete could come in series 2, he is the villain/hero Pete/Mickey, with a Fantasia Magic Mickey in Series 2, that would be great :)

Scrooge McDuck, Junior Woodchucks and Darkwing Duck are the ones I desperately, secretly want to have (with great other ones) since I know Disney finally comes in CMF :) Thank you for the link, I don't know Funko, from what you said with the image, it means Disney owns Funko ? If this's it, ok i understand, I just didn't know Funko :)

I know that like I precised up there but this specific merchandising statue is really a Disney production ? Not a fake one surfing on the tv show popularity ? Just to know, in order to know if OUAT has a real official merchandising connection with Disney and gedren_y's response :)

Thank you, I think the same about these characters, I'm totally fan of the Flickr OUAT page (Buffy page too), and the fact this ABC tv show is owned by Disney...? That's why I precised i'm okay this is just a Disney classic movies series, without Disney Star Wars or Marvel. Is OUAT is in the same machin-chose (some thing category, an another English word I can remember now) than SW and Marvel ?. OUAT is also a licence like SW or Marvel but that new thing Disney does with this tv show, creating some dualities between the classic characters and the other character showed in the tv show, I mean there are lots of pairs, couples, heroes/villains, old/new, I'd like to see the classic Hook expected in series one next to Killian Jones, the "new" Hook in this Disney tv show (ok ABC, but still Disney). 10.53 PM on 31/12. Do you think that because we've seen fake Belle & Snow minidolls ? If the hairpieces are quite similar, I wonder how the concurrent may have the model ? I'm agree about Jasmine in series 2 and about her hair mold which is a great piece. I bought this set just for the carpet (no stickers :)) and the hairpiece :) Do you think we could have the carpet with Abu in series 2 ? I know it's odd because the carpet is made with bricks but it's still a character, and if Abu don't come with Aladdin (I suppose Aladdin because of the Genie), Abu could be in series 2 with the carpet (like the animals in the Simpsons Series with a character) ? But, in fact, if we have pairs, series 1 Genie + Aladdin, and series 2, Jasmine + Jafar... Definitely Jafar instead of the carpet + Abu. I have just one question more, from what I read, Disney series is just Disney classic, not Star Wars, Marvel.... and I'm ok with that but do you think it's possible to have in series 2 or 3 or... some characters from Once Upon A Time (the series / tv show), which is a Disney tv show ? It's because it's a Disney tv show, that the darwes have their real names like in the Disney Animated movie (only Disney can use these names, they are copyright protected), there are many references to the classic animated movies, so what I mean it's some characters like Emma? Henry (+ a book OUAT)? or Rumple ? Could this happen ? Thank you :)

Exactly, this is this image I was talking about in one on my previous message up there... But I'm not able to share it I don't know why...if someone could help? So, on this Bondon image, we can see some Monster fighters sets, Medusa, Pirate Ghost boat and other characters I didn't see on the images posted up there. I really would like share it with you people but for some reasons I don't know, I can't :(

Maybe Lego could use the wings system used with the angel in the Doctor Who set ?

I also think we can have Beast as minifigurines, maybe not in the series 1 but maybe in the series 2, especially now we have faun legs. A good challenge for TLG, with the purple cape and his mane but if he wears outfit for dancing, it could be easier. (I prefer daily outfit with purple cape)

Thanks for this great review. We could expect anything else for this great set. The images are really appreciated :-) I don't think I could get this set soon, due to the price...I have to save money for another sets (the big Scooby doo, new elves, nexo knights, angry birds, CMF...) I tell myself this set will be present for about 3 or 4 years, so I have time to save money for it and wait for a better price in 2 or 3 years or a VIP points x2... This should be a great nice moment to build it :-)

I'll try tomorrow, Saturday, at Lego store in here... On the @shop French, some of news 2016 sets are announced on the 26th December, it was confirmed by shop sellers, so I hope getting this new series tomorrow :)

Ok I see your point, even if I'd like to have Mulan or Pocahontas, I don't know if they are considered as Princess ? Maybe I classify them as Heroines. I don't think it's because Disney Princess have their own product line, it means we can't have them as classic minifigures, I hope we'll have some of them... Clarabelle or Scrooge would be great but in a second wave, I guess LEGO have to satisfy a large community of fan. It's nice to have 2 more minifigures compared to classic series. :)

The new crown I was talking about is in the new Disney Princess sets (one for Elsa & one for Palace Pets) so maybe a Disney exclusivity for a little while? I don't know..
