All right, here's mine. Whacker: Vader Whakee: Me, in summer job uniform X-D Wacking implement: Hammer Here we are on the Death Star II, and Vader has found someone to blame for the late construction schedule: Me, trying life as an imperial! Is it me, or has Vader been playing too much nintendo? Also, we have a Stormtrooper slowly plastering the blocks with his trowel... You can also see that the septic system is not working properly, either... Here we have another trooper off duty, watching a holovid. what's that he's drinking? No one knows, but I'm willing to bet it's not juice! I also finally took a picture of me wielding my electrostaff, if anyone wants to whack me. I've had that head and cape for a long time... 8-|

Problems with BS / Is BrickShelf no more ???
Corvus replied to john cleese's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Oh no, we're quoting a junk food company, what next... X-D I'm using maj.com for a temporary solution so I can put up picks for whack-a-fig. I will remove them when, or if, brickshelf gets back up. If BS never comes back, then on to flickr I go. My point is, we probably shouldn't use maj for lego. It's not really meant for it. It will mix too much. -
That seems to much like the republic... Terrain Artillery Tank? TAT? Since the Trade Federation has a habit of naming their vehicles with three words, like MTT and AAT.

The person above me needs to wear neck protection to protect from force chocking... :-D It doesn't need to be repainted! I prefer to call it a 'recognition of experience' :-D
-
I vote for him as well. :-D danomckenna, you should make a topic about this. To me, this captures the robot's style well.

I meant just for interstellar traveling. It has a big cockpit, so whoever is in it can have all their luxury items. Since Nemoidians have a famed level of paranoia, it does look rather armored, so it would suit them well.

The person above me seems to have forgotten that the person above him also likes exo-force. :-P

I don't have a lasting favorite yet. Right now it's Star Wars, but it's due to be dumped sometime or another... I have not had a dark age yet (because I'm 15) but when we moved to Bend, I didn't want to pull everything out of the boxes. Whoever else has had to move their Lego has probably had the same problem. We're most likely to move again, but there are two advantages this time: one, We're only moving a short ways. We just want to get away from Awbery Glen (Awbery Glen is an expensive neighborhood full of overly formal people, to put it lightly), so we won't be going far. This means I can transport the fragile sets separately. Second, I look forward to getting my own Lego room built above the garage. As for school, I have my small group of friends who don't laugh at me. A few actually even like lego. X-O

Isn't politeness on the internet nice? This is why EB is so great. If this is called the Viceroy-class shuttle, maybe you should try making a more luxurious model for Nemoidian royalty? Just a suggestion.

Making up classes for droids is easy. Just stick a letter on, a few random numbers, and a good-sounding word. :-D How about Carnage Droid? Or how about Annihilation Droid? Just pull out a thesaurus and let the naming begin!

Do you mean the odd looking air taxi? This?

May I suggest using paint.NET? I recently downloaded it (thanks to Starwars4J), and it is very helpful in fixing pictures. And yes, it's free, and my computer hasn't crashed yet, so I suppose that's a good sign. :-D

smashy smashy... :-D Nice work. The more I see of this, the more I like it. Why not include the storing mechanism from the MTT in this? its not like droids need air. Perhaps on the bottom, but keep the top closed for organic passengers?
-
Good job. Do you have a class for these? They look a little like mining vehicles, or mobile turbolasers designed to take out large vehicles like AT-ATs.

Ooh, this is just what I was looking for. I was never able to get the jedi starfighter (7143), and now it's right here, on sale by a trustworthy (I hope :-P X-D ) member. I get my paycheck soon, so this is just perfect. Also, how much more is it to ship to the US?
-
Thanks. I just looked it up. It appears to have very cheap plastic.

Anakin vs a Jawa? Powerful Jedi vs a short little ragbag... One slice of a lightsaber to the Jawa is an instant kyr'am (that's Mando'a. It means 'death'). In other words, the poor jawa doesn't stand a chance!

All right! However, I have to install the Microsoft .NET framework 3.0 setup. Is that a good idea?

Here I am with an American Kestrel named Bobbit. This picture is old, and I'm squinting into the sun, but this is the only pic I could find with me holding a bird. He got his name becuase he has a habit of rapidly bobbing his head and tail up and down, hence 'Bobbit'. He came to the museum becuase he has a broken wing--all our birds are either injured or imprinted (raised in captivity, and can't go back to the wild)- And since bird's bones are hollow, and made of a complex honeycomb structure, he can never fly again. However, that is no reason to euthanize him, becuase he's much better with us than he is dead, or back in the wild, which leads to death. He is seventeen years old now, too- That's a record for the longest living American Kestrel in captivity. Three cheers for Bobbit!

Since a lot of people find it confusing to find the right spot, could someone take a picture of their 'setup', and show their location?
-
I was with my family, actually, so I winced each time something came up. But I'm sure that in a few years when I'm on my own, I'll find it hilarious. :-D :-| A question about the products: Does anyone have Optimus Prime VS Megatron: the ultimate battle? I'm thinking about getting it, but I want to know if it's good or not.
-
All right, then. Darn it... My Photoshop isn't working. Could I possibly ask if there are any kind members out there that are willing to do the 'auto enhance' for my pictures? I don't have a proper high-resolution camera as of yet, so I use a normal digital. It's still good, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist, and I like to make the pictures a bit brighter.
-
Why are you asking US if you're perfectionist? You should know that all the people who will reply to you are also perfectionists. :-D I always go out of my way to make sure that everything is in the right place. I absolutely HATE it when people move stuff because its in the way. It has to be THERE and I will go crazy if moved... My family knows this, but for some reason they don't honor my wishes. :-D

I saw the movie yesterday. I plan to buy it and edit out most of the sam and mikaela story. The story had way too much adult humor and the actor playing mikaela did NOT look like a high school girl. Other than that, the action parts were amazing, though the camera movements made me a bit sick.
