The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Unlikely. It's a big build, and the last one only retired two years ago. -

I'm surprised Nien Nunb hasn't arrived yet. I feel he will finally get a fig though, after his recent appearance in Battlefront. -

Woah, missed this. New Mr Freeze! Yes! I just hope that this time he comes with the red goggles. A new Penguin set I must say hasn't been high up on my wishlist, but I'm intrigued to see what that set will be like. -

Yeah, a new Slave I at a decent price would be very welcome. -

I'd much rather have a UCS Mos Eisley, with the ability to recreate the Who shot first scene and what have you. Like someone else said, the last one was a let down. I'm hating the lack of prequel sets. We're getting practically every OT scene made and then revisited multiple times, but the PT stripped bare really in terms of sets. Duel of the Fates is a nice one, but I'd like to see more PT sets. After missing out on the 2012 Palpatine's Arrest set I hope that's revisited in the coming years. I'd like a larger Duel on Mustufar set as well, maybe with the control rooms and the addition of Palpatine, Burnt Anakin and Padme. I also wish they did more sets like the Vader transformation one from 2005. Those little £5 sets with awesome figs in were fantastic, and I hate how they've kind of slowly evolved into those rather mediocre Micro-fighters. -

I feel like I'm the only one who liked the Carbon Freezing Chamber set. It was nothing special, but it brought us 3 great figs, a Carbonite Han and a cool little playset. I thought it was a good deal for £20 personally. -

Yes! Well, I hope these are true, as I haven't got a Qui-Gon yet, and my Maul is the cybernetic legs version. And again, so pumped for a Thrawn fig. Bet that'll also sell well on the after market once the set retires, as I doubt he'll be in any sets after Rebels. Yoda's hut also sounds interesting, but I'm not gonna be happy if Luke isn't in it; I'm not bothered about the X-Wing, we get plenty of those, but we don't get many Dagobah Luke's. Not sure what to make of the Landspeeder yet, but if the price is low I'll likely get it. I doubt I'll get the Lando set, as I'm only really interested in his ESB look. However, the 'rebel pilot' sounds interesting. Something is suggesting Nien Nunb, a character I'd REALLY like to see after playing as him on Battlefront. -

Am I right in saying Duel of the Fates is the Darth Maul vs Qui-Gonn and Obi-Wan scene? I forget . -

Also, it had a set number of 70902, which fits with what the set numbers are for the movie sets. -

I'm sorry for coming back to this, and I'm sure I'll get told off, but I am curious. I believe we've seen different prelims. The one I saw had a set number, the age recommendations and box art on it, and it looked like it was from some form of catalogue or something. I'm assuming many of you here saw the LDD model on 4chan which has been confirmed to be fake, but this, this looks legit. It also had the LEGO logo on it, and it was accompanied by a convincing LEGO Batman movie logo, anddefinitely looked like it could be the top area for the box art. For obvious reasons, I can't post the picture, however I'm not gonna lose all hope for this set yet. EDIT: Two other details I missed - The set was in some form of alley or street, and it also had a set name: Drill and Bane Rumble. -

Only one I recognise there was Mutant Leader. -

The prelim I saw seemed to be from some form of catalogue, so I'm not sure what to make of it yet. It seems likely it isn't real though now. -

Wow, that's a massive shame, I've been wanting a big fig of Bane ever since Big-figs were introduced. Oh well, there's still another 11 sets to be revealed - Let's stay positive people, we may get a bigfig of Bane yet! -

Again, really hoping some of these Bat-variants are coming for the CMF line. -

I think we may get some more obscure rogues, the Kabuki Twins already being an indicator there. I'm just hoping they don't look cheesy, and they look like good, proper minifigs like Batman and Batgirl. Also, not sold on Harley yet. She may have to grow on me as well. -

God that Robin is corny. But what's that Bat-thing he's holding? The bat emblem on the yellow circle element looks cool. -
Same, I liked the Carbon Chamber set, mainly for the figs, but I loved the orange pieces, made it look like the Chamber just that little bit more.

Anyone else hoping for a new Cloud City set? And a new Lando? I can't remember the last time we saw a Cloud City Lando.

$50 is a joke. I can barely see me wanting to pay £40 over here in the UK. It is a cool set, but that's not worth it. But that Batgirl fig is so awesome, looks exactly like her 1960's appearance; should fit nicely with my 60's Batcave. May just have to get it in the sale. The other 2 figs look pretty cheesy - I know it's a line made for kids, but those 2 figs just look odd. If the prices are that extortionate for every one of these sets, I don't see myself buying many of them. Rather hoping for a normal DC wave to soften the blow, considering these sets don't look fantastic at all. -

I'm looking forward to this CMF series. My bets are it being full of bat-variants. -

That Batmobile set is terrible, and the Robin fig is hideous. However, I am loving the Joker set. The figs are pretty cool, and the car doesn't scrub up too bad either. Batgirl sells that set for me though. -
Super Hero Girls will likely get its own thread as well. So, this thread is pretty much just to discuss the MIghty Micros? I mean, we may get some sets if we're lucky, but at the moment is sounds unlikely with 13 LBM sets coming out (and if the figs are like what we saw in the poster above, I'll be getting none of these).
