Well if Captain Marvel is in both sets with the same appearance, no way the sets are MCU. And they wouldn't throw a random MCU Loki in a comic book set The Loki figure does look a lot like his costume in the first Thor, but its actually different. It might be based off the game, he did appear in one of the tie in comics, but there isn't a good look at his costume

If they are the two missing figures, they would both be exclusive versions based off the game. The Funkos provide a look at what could be

Well if these sets really are based on the game, the three options I have are Ms Marvel, Ant Man and Taskmaster, the only characters we know are in the game, who aren't in any sets. But considering there's no announcement that Captain Marvel, War Machine or Red Skull are in the game, it could be anyone else, but it'd be nice to get a non movie Ant Man Abomination seems unlikely considering the price of a 5 story tower seems fair without a big fig involved, but maybe he's in the Hulkbuster? The information on the set is very hazy, but £40 for just a Hulkbuster seems a bit much, the first one had a Hulk, and the second had the cannon side build

The only Arkham I own is the 2013 version, and its probably my favourite LEGO set. Had a lot of fun building it Wouldn't be opposed against a new one, but between figures and build, it'd really have to sell me on it
-
Same with Harley Quinn, I doubt LEGO are going to stop throwing her out
-
This is what I don't get. Everyone complained that Avengers Compound was a city police station, but they also want a DC police station
-
For reference; the Spider Man bridge battle has a function to push someone off the top, but does not include Gwen Stacy

I think Ms Marvel is a good example of this, she's gained a lot of popularity since her debut, but she didn't have any TV exposure until mid 2016 (Avengers: Ultron Revolution), then appears in a set in Jan 2017 My nephew loves superheroes, and has been playing on LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 recently, he knows most of the main characters, but I had to teach him who she was (he just remembers her as 'strechy girl') I couldn't say how well the set sold, but if LEGO could take a chance on her, why not more of Marvel's longer standing characters

I think if they replaced a wave of Spider Man with a wave of X-Men, just 3 or 4 sets at the start of the year, I reckon they would easily sell. Each X-Men set has been just one set in a wave of Avengers/Guardians of the Galaxy sets, but a full wave would grab more attention. And it'd be better than another year of Venoms and repeated villains. Wouldn't even be mad to see Wolverine vs Magneto Mech Besides, if LEGO can sell Eternals, they can sell X-Men. True fans of the MCU would go to see the movie and learn about these characters, but unless people are willing to take a chance on the more obscure characters, the movie might not reach out to as large a fanbase as the other flicks, which also asks the question if kids care enough about these characters to want toys of them

But just because it can happen, doesn't mean it will, so unless it gets outright confirmed, don't get too excited expecting the best

Marvel was on the list for last year. But just because DC isn't, really doesn't mean it's dying, it's not a hard competition when Marvel releases 5 Spider Man sets, 1 Captain Marvel set, 6 Avengers Endgame sets and 3 Spider Man: Far From Home sets, compared to 6 (plus 2x 4+) Batman sets, and a D2C That's absolutely ridiculous. But it doesn't stop me from appreciating 60% of the movies and the Arrowverse shows
-
Yet it was one of the top selling themes Sooo... LEGO won't release official images for a set that people already own? Madness

Thing is that the comics have such a large potential for who could be included throughout multiple series, but the MCU doesn't. Sure it'd be nice to see the bigger characters who were missed out on (Ronin, Heimdall, Peggy Carter, Yon-Rogg, Ego), but most characters missed out on are only the people or costumes that AFOL want. Comparing to the DC series, we only had six new characters (nine counting Jay Garrick, Simon Baz and Priscilla Rich, who are just different people to go by Flash, GL and Cheetah), and the rest were just different versions of the biggest heroes/villains An MCU CMF would be the AFOL dream, but its more likely to go with comics

There aren't any more DC sets until summer, so those would be the only DC sets available right now Also if a shop sells enough of a set in one day, they usually tend to put more of that set out on the shelves. It's called restocking. And even if Target doesn't sell loads of them, other shops, like toy stores definitely do. So just because one shop you visit has plenty of sets, doesn't mean they don't sell

Or they could add more to the helmet so it doesn't look awkward on a flesh head
-
The Helicarrier would sure be interesting. A giant box with just Iron Man and MODOK plastered on the front

"I got this from a pretty reliable source, but they are wrong at times"

Rumor has it on Instagram that Bronze Tiger will have a new torso print, same as LDCSV, the same head as Shocker and just plain legs Don't take this as fact, just reposting what I've seen

They grow so fast ?

I doubt we'll get more than one Dane Whitman, he'll likely play a sizeable part that sets up his future, but I don't think he'll be important enough for more than one figure. After all this is 'The Eternals', not 'Black Knight and the Eternals' If anything I'd guess he's in either one of the £25 or £60 sets Also if he is in a set, he'll need a new face print, there are few heads out there that can capture the likeness of Jon Snow (Bard worked well), so no way we'll have to deal with another Henry Turner/Ant Man/Peter Parker/Maxwell Lord head
-
Black Widow only had one set, so sacrifices had to be made (even though Black Panther could fit Nakia, Killmonger and Klaue into a £30 set ) But between 4 sets adding up to a total of £200, we'll get all the characters we need Just to list off; Ikaris, Sersi, Thena, Ajak, Gilgamesh, Kingo, Makkari, Phastos, Sprite and Druig, plus Dane Whitman They mostly are, some are just larger. But I guess its how the film will interpret them that matters
-
I wouldn't even be mad if the $100 set was just like 3 or 4 of them
-
Just saw a list of potential, but unconfirmed Funko Pop!s for the Eternals, which lists a 10inch Arishem (a Celestial). Without knowing how much of a role they'll play in the film, I hope we receive at least one in the sets, whenever they come

Would've been nice to put a face under Mando's helmet

Wonder Woman appears to be reusing her head from the CMF series. Not a problem for me, there's worse heads to be reused. Love the gold armour suit, Cheetah looks pretty decent
