Well we still had the one set after release
-
You could just get the figure off Bricklink or somewhere. It does suck when an exclusive figure, especially a nice one like War Machine is in an expensive set, but getting a repeat in a new set takes away a slot from a new figure instead. We don't need Avengers to follow the same suit as last year's Spider Man sets

I'd love a new updated Daily Bugle set, but I can't imagine them making it massive or D2C, at most I could see it being the same size and price as Avengers Tower
-
Well as these sets will clearly be releasing after WandaVision and Falcon & Winter Soldier have both finished, they are definitely in contention for these sets, as they could include potential spoilers. Loki will be finishing in June/July time, so I wouldn't expect any sets this summer to be based on that show, maybe later on in the year. Then Ms Marvel and Hawkeye, should they get sets, I wouldn't imagine seeing any until next year. That's all hypothetical keep in mind, but for the meantime I just picture WV & F/WS sets Edit: forgot about What If, due to the nature of the show, I couldn't possibly picture how they might do sets on it, they'd have to pick from only a couple of episodes. But they would be easier to release without a potential spoilers wait time, and could even feature some phase 1 characters
-
Well these are unusual times. The film could still be pushed back again. On the Marvel end we've seen sets for a film that's 10 months away. Nobody can really predict how things will work this year
-
The Killing Joke is prime example of this. Iconic Batman story that couldn't be pulled off with a PG 12 rating. The animated film was R rated (which in the UK is just rated 15), plus the 89 Batman is rated 15 in the UK
-
That's probably a good shout. No idea what it could be if it was a figure heavy set though. Maybe a Venomized character pack or an X-Men catch-up set. Or maybe it's a WandaVision set, and all the extra minifigures are the live studio audience
-
The DC CMF gave basically all their figures arm and leg printing, don't see why Marvel wouldn't have it. Plus we did just get a nice new Spider Man with arm printing (minus dual printed legs, but there were plenty from the 2019-2020 sets). If we got say a first appearance Spidey in the CMF, he'd absolutely have web printing on his legs too

And I thought last summer wave would ruin my bank between the Helicarrier and the Tower. Fingers crossed I can start work again soon to save some money up I don't really tend to take notice of the set numbers, but do we know what/if any set numbers are for Shang-Chi? Also the hell is in a £40 set with 202 pieces?
-
Can't get too excited or expect too much from this theme anymore, but a £200 set with 18+... My mind immediately jumps to the Watchtower or Hall of Justice. But again, low expectations
-
Or in a perfect world (whilst I have doubts), it could be big figs ?
-
If there's only 12 slots, I'd highly doubt it. Maybe an exclusive Iron Man, Cap, Thor, Spidey and Hawkeye variant, a few other heroes (ideally Daredevil) and a couple of villains. Similar to the way DC did it, but slightly smaller, which kinda sucks, but it's happening, I can't complain
-
Hopefully it's an AIM Agent battle pack, because let's face it, we didn't get enough of them in the last few waves
-
Is Fing Fang Foom confirmed? I've heard only rumours and speculation, but seen no official confirmation
-
Its obviously Rita Farr
-
You wouldn't have had much luck wishing for that in 2020, the Eternals sets already show an improvement to me and I'm hoping we see great things later on
-
There are better images out. You're right about Cho Chang for Ajak, but I can't make out Sersi. The newer image of the Arishem set makes it look like Tina's head, but I still can't tell Also the description for the Dorito Ship says the humanoid Deviant is the leader, and while it doesn't say his name, it's gotta be Kro. I called it.
-
If they cut out the Deviants from the set, they wouldn't have any enemies to fight. And they probably chose Arishem because he has a significant role in the film
-
In Arishems Shadow is probably the most badass set name ever! I too am disappointed for lack of Black Knight, not even a Dane Whitman, but maybe they don't want to advertise him too much. At least not in suit
-
If it was next week, we'd have better images by now. Maybe March
-
These sets would've been released already though, but the film got pushed back. Spidey was supposed to release after Shang Chi anyway, so he'll be next
-
That humanoid Deviant in the Dorito ship is definitely Kro, I checked those leaked images of his figure and he has 4 eyes and a red marking on his head, plus tendril like hands
-
I feel like most people hyped for the D2C are expecting something like Diagon Alley with 10-15 figures, but the reality (which is often disappointing) is it'd be more akin to the microscale Hogwarts or the Helicarrier, and have around 4-6 figures. If it was Asgard tho, Odin and Heimdall need to happen at least. Though rather than the Dark Elves, I would like to see a Frost Giant
-
Well at the moment (Covid pending), the film is still 7 months away. I'd hate for it to have a trailer release, hype builds, then everything gets pushed back again
