  1. Not that I'd disbelieve it, but is Morb V Miles actually confirmed as a mech set? Because I feel like I've seen everyone say it is expect the leakers and scoopers. If it's a normal set, there could possibly be a third figure thrown in, but no chance if it's a mech battle pack Ghost Rider set seems so interesting. Of course this is probably the third Spider Man set using Ghost Rider as the selling point, but who will be the villain of the set? This question excites me After googling their designs, I'd really like to see Black Cat and Sandman figures. Ant Man and Wasp look cool, but I'd be mad if we had the simplified design treatment before getting comic versions of the characters (surprised we never got them or Vision in the 2020-21 wave) Reptil also looks pretty cool, and it would be nice to get a new character. However Black Panther was a season 1 character and wasn't in the sets, so while these are all possible characters, not all of them will be guaranteed to appear Same here. The cycle of Green Goblin/Doc Ock/Venom/Carnage/Sandman/Vulture/Mysterio has finally been broken. Fingers crossed for Electro and Mister Negative next (sadly it's easier to expect new minifigures than it is big figs, which crosses Lizard, Rhino and Kingpin off the list)
  2. Well as angry as I would be if I saw it go for sale for £50 after buying it, at the moment £60 is a good bargain, and one that might not be around for long, and might not be at that price again for a while, so I figured I might as well get it over with They say it ain't minifigure scale, do big figs count?? Because if I can't sit Thanos in my Thanoscopter, I don't want it
  3. Don't do that... Don't give me hope
  4. The Iron Man armoury set is currently £20 off on Amazon UK, certainly a better grab than £80 so I've finally bought it
  5. If they did it'd be just like Miles from 2015 to 2019, just a little upgrade with a few minor tweaks. Not that it needs updating, that figure was amazing (yes pun intended), it's more about the potential to get more Spider Man that isn't just Peter, Miles and Gwen every wave Despite reusing all the same villains for 3 years, Spider Man always sells. As I remember reading somewhere the villains included are always based upon characters kids would be exposed to, such as Mysterio being prominent after FFH. And this new Spider Verse film is meant to include 250 or something characters (the last had like 40), so I'm really hoping this film could reignite the Spider Man spark. I really don't want to see Amazing Friends wave 2 next year, it had some cool parts for figures sure, but it also had a clear singular target audience, it can't be hard to get a balanced wave that kids will love and adults can appreciate
  6. A board game for Across the Spider Verse has revealed will be making an appearance in the film, and now I really hope we get some sets, or at least loose tie ins like the 2019 wave
  7. I know you're only joking, but I would absolutely buy that
  8. As someone who only collects Marvel, trying to imagine a set bigger than the Bugle scares me
  9. New higher quality photos of Black Panther and Ironheart figures are out It wasn't unreasonable to guess in the last image Shuri's head could've been added to Black Panther's body, but two images in a row say differently
  10. I'm not trying to say it's not impossible that Shuri is the new Black Panther, but it is completely possible the figure has just had Shuri's head placed on it. The same picture has a shuffle of Harry Potter and Hermione body parts, and Okoye has Riri's hairpiece. Maybe I'm just biased because I'm in support of Nakia taking the mantle The Ironheart suit looks cool, can't wait to see it in the film. At first I thought it looked weird, nothing really like the comics, but then I thought changing up the colour scheme, and throwing in some black rather than gold really helps set it apart from Iron Man, and gives a nice Wakandan feel to it You can also see M'Baku's staff in the picture, and although the top piece should be in brown, it's a very creative and accurate build, really like it. Not sure on the figure yet, but that's just because it's based on an outfit we haven't seen yet
  11. I said it before and I'll say it again, this advent calendar has made me so happy I missed out on the recent Benetar
  12. After 5 minutes at immensely staring at the photos of Shuri's Marvel Legends figure and the recent box art that shows her new LEGO figure, I can 100% confirm it's the same outfit
  13. That second Thor set did not need to have such a late reveal at all, but this does seem possible. If one or more of the sets are 'Legacy' sets based on the first film, we could see those first, and maybe one set that doesn't feature the new Black Panther. My guess is most of them don't include scenes that would translate to interesting sets... Which basically just means mechs, the other shows lack mechs But seriously, I could think of at least one set for each show (except FatWS and Ms Marvel), but the majority of shows lack any significant vehicles or locations that could be made into sets
  14. Surprised the thread isn't already full of comments about the announcements from SDCC, but alongside our first trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (which was truly beautiful and emotional), we have our first leaked figure for the sets (aside from the box art thing)... Nakia
  15. Really don't get why I keep seeing people say this about his hair, it's the ponytail hairpiece so it's exactly the right piece, it's just missing the white streaks As mentioned above, it was the IW Sanctum that teased Daredevil, but the Ghost Rider set had a Bleeker St sign, so that set teased the Sanctum And yes the Daily Bugle did give us an Easter Egg of Morbius, but they also included references to Rhino (who tbf has appeared since, just smaller than shown in the Bugle), Kingpin, Electro, Lizard/Curt Connors, Norman Osborn and Miles Warren, most of these are unlikely to appear in regular, non 4+ kids show inspired sets, as all villains are just repeats. The best chance to get these figures would be a D2C Oscorp, which could dish out new villains the way the Bugle gave us new heroes
  16. Advent Calendar figures are Star Lord, Rocket, Groot, Mantis (all seemingly repeats), Drax with a Baby Groot sweater and Nebula with a Thanos sweater
  17. If all this is true, Drax; one of the original 5 Guardians, has not appeared in a set since 2017, and has less figures than Mantis. Which is downright ridiculous to me Hope this also doesn't discount Cosmo from appearing Just a thought too, though the figures are all most likely based on the Holiday Special, I wonder if we'll see various mini builds from the Guardian's movies. I would love to see how they would do Knowhere, or maybe even Ego in tiny planet form. Other builds I could see are the Milano (or Benatar, either one is practically guaranteed), a Nova Corp ship, the Dark Aster, a cell from the Collector's museum, the Abilisk, a Sovereign drone and the Orb inside the Temple of Morag. And if Thanos is included then his throne would be great too
  18. I saw while shopping earlier (England). Was very tempted, but I'm gonna wait until the price drops
  19. Considering the 'love' DC has had over the last few years, it's easier to expect all the sets are Marvel until stated otherwise And if the Sanctum reveal is to happen at Lego con, info on the big set doesn't look likely at the same time. Also seems unlikely that a $500 Marvel D2C would release the month after the Sanctum
  20. Justice for the lack of USAgent in the CMF! Maybe Zemo too. And a new Yelena certainly wouldn't go unappreciated.
  21. After looking up photos of Defender Strange, it actually does look like his costume in the film is blue Though other merchandise (Legends, Funko) definitely give it as black, but are all based on the below design, which is clearly different from the film's final version I agree. Ignoring the whole 'zombie' element, Defender's costume is certainly more vibrant and interesting than Sinister's. Would've been cool to have the option to swap parts to make Zombie Strange, or even two separate figures with a feature atop the Sanctum to bury Defender's body, then have the Zombie rise Might just be me, but I kind of wish it was the same head colour as Cap
  22. I realised the same thing on my second viewing of the film. Though technically we do see the Earth-838 Sanctum, which is close enough to 616s. Also Sinister Strange's, though I doubt the set would take any inspiration from that, unless most of the build is the staircase
  23. I love how the picture quality makes it look yellow Not exactly one of the figures I was looking forward too, just because his appearance is pretty dark and bland, but it's really cool to know he has the third eye
  24. Another thing that bugs me, that I don't think I've seen anyone discuss, is how War Machine uses the exact same cannon build as his first figure/Iron Patriot. After all this time, they've never really perfected that cannon, with the exception of the comic figure, but that used the four handle back piece. There's not really a whole lot of things you can do with the cannon. Now if they had used the Wrecker armour piece, not only would War Machine look a helluva lot bulkier, which would especially do the Mark 1 suit some extra justice, there's two studs at the back they could've used to attach the gun I agree, with 4.5 repeat figures in this set (the new helmets accounting for the remaining .5), Fury should've been replaced by Black Widow So they're still using the 6 year old Tony Stark head, but not the one we've seen Rhodey use just as long. That scared face will work great for a particular Civil War moment, but other than that, it doesn't suit him
  25. Absolutely love the new helmets! Slightly disappointed now though, I wish I could have one of those helmets for the Silver Centurion figure Now... Is it just me, or does it bother anyone else that this Hall of Armours is built differently from the last Hall of Armours. Naturally it's always good to make updates, otherwise it's basically the same set, I actually think I prefer the updates, but it's probably going to look weird displaying it together
