  1. Looks like Rescue will be included in the next LEGO Marvel magazine, certainly a great opportunity for those who didn't get the Hulkbuster set
  2. 10 year anniversary Dark World sets???
  3. Don't polybags usually include repeat minifigures? Unless I'm mistaken, exclusive figure polybags are reserved for video game bundles
  4. Why oh why must there only be one set, looks like there's so many great possibilities in this film. And Kang!! Incredible!!
  5. Sneak in a little Easter Egg to keep him plugged in and I'm sold
  6. Well then, can't wait until next year's buildable Bruce Banner figure, and Hulkbuster MKII D2C, so I can throw even less money at that, than I am at this. I'm still really just glad this thing never turned out to be Avengers Tower, I can sleep knowing my money is safe for now A Milano/Benatar that can fit buildable Star Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, Groot, Mantis, Nebula, Kraglin, Thor, Korg, Toothgnasher, Toothgrinder and Adam Warlock figures. Don't want to think about the price Meanwhile the LEGO Iron Man statue is absolutely cramped inside that block of a torso
  7. It's like they're trying to copy Star Wars with how they do their D2Cs and big expensive brickbuilt characters. Difference is Star Wars has always been remembered by iconic vehicles and such, whereas Marvel is more about superhero versus supervillain. So with that in mind, the only big expensive sets that I could see going well for Marvel are sets like the Bugle and Sanctum. We all know an Avengers Tower in that style would sell out on day one I don't think the big Hulkbuster and BP bust are bad or unnecessary, I'm sure some people would love them but only if they were cheaper and smaller. The BP bust would've fit in well with the helmet series, even if you leave the Wakandan salute included, just shrink it down, it was far too big And the last Hulkbuster, whilst it wasn't for me, it felt like it was what the people who are interested in those types of set are after, maybe aside from some of the side builds. An update to that set isn't a bad thing, but unnecessarily making it massive is just stupid. Even if I wanted it, which I really don't, there's nowhere I could display it at that size. Half the pieces, half the price, maybe people would be interested Thank you all for coming to my Ted Talk The year is 2129. Thanks to LEGO's new AI interactive software brick, the Hulkbuster D2Cs have rose to power. Their war to exterminate mankind has been raged for decades, but the final battle would not be fought in the future It would be fought here, in our present. No matter what sets, figures and bad overpriced decisions the year shall bring, it's impossible for the year to be crap, when it shall go down in history as the year we were blessed with LEGO Morb Can't say for certain, but if the film's out February, January would be the safest bet Also it's 4 months to release from tomorrow, can we get a trailer yet pleaseeeeee?
  8. The year is 2058. LEGO 703419 Hulkbuster (40th Anniversary Addition) has hit the shelves. It's priced $17,349.99, includes 89,233,106 pieces, and is the exact same height as the Hulkbuster itself
  9. If I made it out correctly the size looks like it's 26 inches, which is almost the same height as the Daily Bugle
  10. Goddamn that is ridiculously big. By the scale of Tony on the back of the box, Hulk would be about as big as the foot, so clearly this has to be a Galactus or Celestial-buster
  11. Take my money... TAKE IT!!!!!
  12. In an interesting turn of events, Armor Wars will now no longer be a series, but a movie Which means considering the amount of armoured characters, and likely mech potential, LEGO will have a field day making sets for this one
  13. He might even pop up in the show, he had a couple of non speaking cameos (ironic, but also interesting as he debuted in comics one year before the show began) in the original. Maybe now he's a household name he could have at least a single episode appearance
  14. Despite not knowing the size of her role, disappointed to hear there's no Namora. Can't complain too much, this set does have 4 exclusive figures, assuming Namor will be the same as the Throne. Though we also don't know how much of a role Attuma plays in the film too, she could've replaced him in either set. Could've been cool to get Aneka too, as her costume was shown recently and looks so cool. Like a Wakandan Predator. I guess this boat is what we've seen in the trailer, when the Dora Milaje are shown fighting the Talocanians
  15. 76214 Water Wars Minifigures: Black Panther, Okoye, M'Baku, Ironheart and Namor Description: Put your little superhero at the helm of the iconic Royal Sea Leopard from Marvel Studios' Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. LEGO® Marvel Black Panther: Water Wars (76214) features tons of fun details and familiar characters for Black Panther fans ages 8 and up. The Royal Sea Leopard is the spectacular ship from the movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever from Marvel Studios. This cool toy set includes 2 launchers and loads of extras, including a dungeon, weapon and ammo storage compartments, tools and 2 buildable drones. Both drones, which can be parked on the ship's deck, each have 2 launchers and retractable rotors.
  16. I played this level with my nephew, saw the title and I couldn't contain my laughter No no, of course no double meanings, Star Lord just really loves Bush. There's no way that could get misinterpreted The Werewolf by Night trailer came out one month before the project hits D+, so trailer might be some time away. And with how close trailers seem to be to film's release these days, I wouldn't expect Ant Man's until November
  17. I'm holding out for hope they make Groot like the Avatar figures. Brick built is far too big for him, he isn't much taller than the other Guardians Certainly a few innuendos that could come from naming your ship 'Bush'
  18. We've only had micro Ant Man figures in the CW airport, and both Endgame Campus sets, so yes they have only appeared in big sets, but there's no reason they couldn't throw one in a small set. But with three Ant Man microfigures, that technically doubles to six as they come in pairs, we really need one for Wasp. This would require a new mold, but said mold could be used in the future for Tinkerbell and other fairies. I also hope the new figure finally uses the Firefly helmet Clearly not enough in Marvel as we have neither Thanoscopter nor Thanos Car
  19. If he's not we're looking at another 2 years until we'd be guaranteed to get him
  20. I know in the comics Zemo is the founder of the Thunderbolts, but in the MCU his goal of ending all super soldiers wouldn't make him a good fit for the team when there's like 5 of them. He also couldn't offer much that anyone else could, except his strategist mindset and his butler. He'd make for a good villain in the film, or maybe even a twist that Val's working for/with him But when it comes to sets, I'll be very happy to get Red Guardian in common public release, as well as of course USAgent, who really should've had Monica's spot in the CMF (or Zemo)
  21. I haven't read many reports from comic con, so I don't know if the team we've seen is the official line up, or just a safe handful of characters they're willing to confirm for the time being, but it kinda feels a little lackluster. Three super soldiers, two assassins and Ghost. So I hope Abomination and maybe some more (ideally powered) characters we meet next year will join the team. I also hope we maybe get some of the classic characters like Songbird and Mach V
  22. Abomination might be a bit of a sad stretch, but the Leader is on the table...
  23. If it had to come down to mech sets... What we'd want; Batman vs Mr Freeze mech Nightwing vs Penguin mech (who wouldn't want a mech designed as a penguin?) Robin vs Scarecrow mech (could look pretty decent) Batgirl vs Condiment King mech Commissioner Gordon mech vs Two Face mech Superman vs Lex Luthor mech Supergirl vs Brainiac mech Steel vs Metallo mech Superboy vs Toyman mech Wonder Woman vs Ares mech Wonder Woman vs Egg Fu mech versus what we'd get; Batman mech (black) vs Joker mech (purple with green) Batman mech (blue) vs Harley Quinn mech Batman mech (grey) vs Riddler mech Batman mech (black with yellow) vs Catwoman mech Batman mech (black but designed differently) vs Joker mech (green with purple)
  24. I bet next year's sets will be:
  25. The other versions of the Hulkbuster were at least based on different designs (AoU, IW, whatever the War Machine one was and the comics/SE one), so yeah, no way anyone other than new collectors would care that much about a Hulkbuster they probably already have. So hopefully there's more builds in the set, as well as some good figures that will draw people in All our lives we've lived with LEGO choosing Venom over us. Why? Why shouldn't they know what it feels like for a change?
