  1. Imagine if they made battle packs from this film. 3/4 different Spider Men for £15
  2. Well she's undeniably a criminal, but not necessarily always a villain. Anti hero at best
  3. This is the first new Spidey villain we've seen since Mysterio in 2019 (MCU)/2020 (comics). And before that the last time we got new Spidey villains were 2016
  4. FINALLY!! A Sandman torso that isn't half and half And that Miles figure from the lighthouse... Thinking of some serious potential to make Kaine
  5. Well he will be in the upcoming GotGv3 sets, but whether he's the previous grey version, or the green from the advent calendar is yet unknown. But considering they bothered to change him in the first place, my money's on green
  6. Well my initial thought, admittedly not thinking that there's enough actual characters, and more recently LEGO won't give us enemy soldiers they can't reuse and plaster over multiple sets (Outriders, Chitauri, AIM), was that we could see the Animen, making use of any animal costumed pieces the CMFs have given us. But that seems unlikely enough, between these sets we'll probably only see the 7 core Guardians, Adam Warlock, High Evolutionary and Cosmo, maybe Kraglin too Certainly makes it cheaper, so at least we know those outfits will have leg printing This means her new figure won't use that hairpiece My thoughts exactly. Though I can't wait to see how many people make these costumes with the classic space figures No guarantee we won't see it as a side build in either set
  7. So this came out... Already have a good idea of what we might see in the sets, which I shall save for later, get everyone a chance to watch this first
  8. Why can't they pick a design for the mechs and stick with it? Especially after the disaster last year, where they try to change it up, fail, hold the release back, then give us misaligned leg joints. Now rather than fix that mistake, they remove all layers of articulation I don't know if the finger pieces are new, but they're certainly a more welcome addition than these legs Well we had one a few years ago, felt like it was brushed over because of inaccuracy
  9. The helmet might be the same as the Mark 3, but the torso and legs are new for a more detailed Mark 7
  10. Miles Per Hour Vs Morb: it's one of those classic unnecessary Spider Man builds, but I actually like it for what it is. Miles suit is pretty cool, it's closer to the jacket version, but the torso detailing isn't the same. Morbius is fantastic! Not a big fan of the hair used, but I love he's flying around with a vial of blood The Ghost Rider bike looks really good, and the figure update is cool too, but it's a pass on this one, wouldn't be the case if it was minifigure scale, or at least came with another character. Hulkbuster is really nice, definitely one of the better, maybe even the best. Bruce is an incredible figure, and I love his new alternate Hulking out face. Okoye is an unexpected inclusion, but it makes sense, certainly good for spare Dora parts. Though if we were always gonna get her here, we could've just had the Midnight Angel in the War on the Water set. Two more Outriders, like we all don't have enough. Not even updated ones either. All together a very unusual figure selection, I was hoping for one of the Black Order. If Maw can be updated, why can't Corvus? Quinjet. Yes. Considering how old the original is, mine has suffered the fate of turning colour, so I'm glad to see this revisit is actually really nice! And you can alternate between Avengers and SHIELD logos! Great stuff. The figures are absolutely incredible, Loki is the best he's ever been, Black Widow with the SHIELD logo is great, Thor being the same as the Hammer works fine for me, didn't pick it up (not worthy). Little disappointed at that price they didn't do Hawkeye either, Hulk I understand, but maybe they'll pop up in an Avengers Tower? Or in another Avengers set with a Leviathan? Does anyone know if the mechs and Spidey 4+ sets are releasing January or March. During my hype I completely forgot about them until halfway through my review
  11. I'm really curious if it's possible for leakers to just miss set numbers. If I remember correctly the Endgame helicopter with Hulk & Rescue seemed to come out of thin air without us expecting another set, though I could be wrong
  12. You ain't wrong. 8 new release MCU sets, one Infinity Saga set, one fun buildable Groot, 4 brickbuilt figures with a giant brick fig mech, an unnecessarily large bust, two brickbuilt weapons of different scales and 3 comic book mechs that also include the first X-Men set in 8 years that currently doesn't seem to be leading into anymore X-Men sets. Very scrambled As cool as it looks, the inaccuracy of the Hulk busting out of Hulkbuster Funko Pop is why I never wanted to pick it up. It's a shame really, it would've been one of the coolest moments in the MCU This was definitely the point though, ever since Hulk DIDN'T bust out the Hulkbuster, his character fell down the drain. The problem is with the helmet, the awkward blank space on the sides require either the helmet to continue printed onto a colour head, which leads to bad colour clashing, or a flesh head to have a chinstrap so it doesn't look ridiculously goofy.
  13. We'll definitely see either a remake of the Mark 6 or 7 with the new helmet for Iron Man, and probably Black Widow, she's known to pilot Quinjets in sets. Loki will be a definite as well, need to throw the villain in. 2012 Quinjet doesn't necessarily mean it's based on the Battle of New York, it could take bits and pieces from everywhere in the film. Wouldn't mind another Agent Coulson figure Gotta strongly disagree here, sure there's been some questionable decisions (Hulkbuster, BP bust, buildable figures), but the Sanctum was an incredible set, plus Goat Boat, and we've had some nice figures here and there The worst year for me had to be 2020, with recycled Spider Man villains and the Avengers with two AIM agents in every set. Most of the builds weren't great either, like the Helicarrier that was just a massive block with no interior. The highlights were some decent figures, but they were all in otherwise bad sets
  14. So completely under the radar, an Avengers 1 suit Cap has leaked, which will most likely pop up in the Quinjet
  15. Well you were right, I was worried it would look similar enough to the Milano and Benatar, but it's really unique compared to the others, and I really hope it's the $100 set No Way Home sets are currently a hypothetical, we all anticipate them, but we don't know when or if they're coming, or how much they'd cost. But if they don't and the Bugle retires, you might regret waiting too long and not getting the Bugle in the end. It's truly a beautiful set, and building it was the highlight of my lockdown
  16. Not sure if Black Friday deals are the same worldwide, but speaking at least from the UK, there's some decent offers on Marvel on the LEGO website Threw in some VIP points as well and I got War on the Water, Guardians Calendar, Shang Chi's car chase and Shuri's lab for only £70, absolute steal A list for those interested; *30% off GotG calender (£21) *20% off Shuri's Sunbird (£36) *20% off War on the Water (£64) *20% off Iron Man's Armory (£64) *20% off Battle at the Ancient Village (£28) *30% off Escape from the Ten Rings (£17) *20% off Miles Morales figure (£20) *30% off Rise of the Domo (£63) *30% off In Arishems Shadow (£42)
  17. Certainly looks like it would work, good shout Meanwhile I've been eyeing up that headpiece to use for Reptil
  18. I don't think the GotG in the name actually means the headquarters/ship belong to the team. The ship will probably be the High Evolutionary or Ayesha's. Headquarters still could be, but I'd picture something like the Black Panther 4+, with one exclusive figure
  19. 76253 Guardians of the Galaxy Headquarters - $9.99, 67 pieces 76254 Guardians of the Galaxy Spaceship - $34.99, 340 pieces
  20. Found a first look leaked poster for the Marvels (@mcu.amaze), Ms Marvel's costume looks better than it did in the filming photos, though her shoulders/arms feel a bit too over-detailed. As it's unlikely to see the stretchy arm torso return for her MCU figure, I hope they can at least print the bangle Monica's suit looks incredible! I'm still puzzled as to why we desperately needed her basic outfit from WandaVision (when we knew she'd be getting an outfit here) over the greatly missed Agatha, USAgent, Zemo, Infinity Ultron and Strange Supreme. At least we know USAgent will be coming eventually, Zemo's next appearance is unknown and Agatha won't appear unless CMF 2 covers her show I wouldn't be mad if we get NWH sets and there's no Sandman figure, he would just be similar enough to his 2019 figure (though I get it's been a few years, not everyone might have it). Would be cool to see a brickbuilt figure though Lizard however is a must for LEGO. Both he and Electro been skipped in the comic sets long enough, he shouldn't be skipped in the movies too Honestly I think either way I wouldn't mind, my only ask of this set, is Wasp is done to the same quality as Ant Man has in the past, with either the same Ant Man/Firefly helmet, or something new if the budget could be stretched to make a single new helmet for the both of them (or three if counting Cassie)
  21. He's a victim of screenwriting. Maybe if Batman Forever/Batman and Robin were made to be anything like the Burton/Keaton films, he could've pulled it off. But Batman and Robin wasn't a terrible film because he was a bad Batman, it was a terrible film because of poor writing and directing I can't really be bothered to do a full list, but my favourite is Pattinson, and we all know what the internet had to say about "Twilight Boy" when he was cast. But yet he pulled off an amazing performance, which isn't all just down to him, but to Matt Reeves for giving him the perfect direction to portray the role
  22. Now... We know we'll be 10000% seeing Kang in minifigure form by at latest 2025. We don't know for certain where Cassie will next appear in costume. But now we've seen the leaks of the first wave of Funkos, Cassie's absence (which is certainly unusual as the character we haven't officially seen yet appears amongst the bobbleheads) does make me worry the set will skip her
  23. There needs to be a lightning bolt design on this ship somewhere
  24. After watching Black Panther, I have only one note about what I now think about the sets Not a spoiler, but I'll keep it in a box out of respect
  25. It's a horrible excuse. Just look at what is certainly the best wave of this theme: 2015 Justice League. "The reason for the current disparity between them is primarily to do with what children and parents are most familiar with." So without any appearances in films by this point, how did we get Cyborg, Supergirl, Martian Manhunter, Hawkman, Sinestro, Grodd, Cap Cold and Darkseid? Green Lantern and Green Arrow wouldn't be as well known either without the movie that we all love, which released 4 years prior, and Arrow, which certainly doesn't extend his character to a children audience. The same could even be said for the 2018 wave introducing Firestorm, Cheetah, Reverse Flash, Lobo and Killer Frost. At least this year, Justice League Action was airing, so these characters were exposed to kids, but there's one thing that ties both waves that expand beyond Batman and foes; both years we had video games So beyond the occasional surprise guest star superhero that will help Batman defeat Riddler or Freeze, LEGO DC will only stick their whole foot in the water when we get video games, which is certainly a great way for kids to get to know some of these characters, but yet we only get the one wave each time. We could've got a wave of Crime Syndicate figures from DC Super Villains, or more from the Green Lantern universe from Batman 3
