  1. Iv been only getting into collecting trains and am thinking about buying the maersk My question is that it looks quiet similer to the current 60052 that Iv just bought. I know the creater sets are more detailed but what is the big thing about the maersk? Iv also been looking at getting a level crossing. The most recent being 7936 but it's very expensive €88 cheapest new any reason why for so little parts? Edit that should be cargo 60052 train in heading.could admin edit please.
  2. Have u got some sort of problem???this is a forum. And thanks everyone for the help :)
  3. Just built mine works fine. Energizer batteries.
  4. Who cares how much it costs :) will be the num 1 set of all time!
  5. Thank u. Are all track the same dark grey?
  6. So the latest track pack is flexable 7499. Can u not buy non flexy track packs and why does this years 2 city sets have the better hard tracks? Are 7895 7896 a better option?
  7. So for instance if i buy 7939 that has flexy tracks? Am i better off just buying 7939 train only? And can u buy hard track packs now?
  8. I take it there will be more news on this at the nurenberg toy fair next week? That's normally when us technic guys get pictures etc.
  9. Hi I'm a technic guy but just bought my first train set today 60052. I'm looking at also getting 7939 and the maersk too. Are all tracks comparable both normal and flexy or which is better? I take it my 60052 is normal tracks but can they all be joined and look the same? Half way through building 60052 only the engine left to build. Carriages were quiet easy and so was the crane. Very strange building when I'm used to technic but nice all the same. One more question is the new 60051 worth getting?
  10. Iv never seen a European truck with singles on the rear. Only if one axle is a lift axle but the other drive axle has doubles.
  11. I really don't think the cylinders will be only 1 wide u can clearly see in the image there 2 wide. This was obviously a typo. Also 1 wife would leave them too weak and bend. Has anyone noticed the center cylinder looks black rather than chrome. I really hope not.
  12. I never liked crawler cranes even tough this one looks good. 42043 is the star of the show here :)
  13. At last! Thanks for info. I presume the 1 stud wide cylinder is wrong as the all look 2 wide in pictures. So 4 cylinders which means if it does tip it will be with la,s :( guys we might get no tipper here at all. Anyway still love it ether way. Oh and I bet it does have suspension it has to with those arch gaps. Any idea why we never get images from London fair?
  14. Was onto Lego and this set is now retired.
  15. Fire plane but heard nothing at all on it.
  16. Jim when we get info at toy fair can u start a new 2h thread or a 42043 one as this is getting too clogged with crap?
  17. Did he just say that! Banned :(
  18. U couldn't be more wrong. I think everyone is missing the point here that we're years looking for. LONGER pneumatics!!!!!!!
  19. B model has to also be licenced the same as 8110 and 42030
  20. Totally agree people are too hung up on it. And it's obvious it has when u see how high it is. People are forgetting about the new pneumatic parts and that's what it's all about. Were years waiting for longer cylinders.
  21. I think the official looks better to be honest with the proper lights and Merc logo. Also crane looks a lot better on Lego version. Maybe 50% was a bit low I'd say 65%. I just hope the tipping is also pneumatic. But it's doubtful.
