  1. Afterburn was a member of the Terrorcon army during the Galactic War (2356-2367) and was captured by Vapour's Gamma Unit after the defeat of Deviot and his elite forces a month before. He spent fifteen years locked up for his actions in the war. He still had another twenty years left until he would be release, but he was freed early after the prison he was in was raided by Terrorcon rebels. After being liberated, he met with the leader of the rebel unit and joined it. As of 2417, he's Reaper's (Core Hunter) personal spy, often doing scouting missions to gather info on possible targets to attack. One such target was the location that the immobilized Deviot had been locked up at for fifty years. The information from Afterburn was useful to the Reaper's rebel unit to free the former leader of the Terrorcon forces. Besides being a spy, he's a skilled fighter from being in the Galactic War and he's also fast. While he lost his vehicle mode when he under went the Terrorcon upgrade, he's since modified his body to handle jet features. He's also a master at stealh for being a spy and can become cloak and not be seen by his target's defensive networks nor soldiers. With Deviot and Thrax: Notes: The helmet is from the BO Evo set. The idea for the figure came back before images of Speeda Demon. I was thinking it be more car like and I had thought it be cool to see a jet theme character. The name Afterburn is something that stayed with me since 2000. I remember watching the Transformer series Beast Machines and heard the Vehicon general Jetstorm speak it before transforming.
  2. I like that figure, has a nice color scheme going for it. Just one thing, why the green cables? I would of thought the blue style like from Stormer 2.0 might of worked out better.
  3. Lego Superheros UB Batman set.
  4. Made some changes:
  5. Was testing around with the new updates and thought I would work out how I would handle the BO Surge set when I get it.
  6. Perhaps a peak into something the new Stormer set might have. I just hope its not a goof up, I badly want some type of trans blue HF armor parts.
  7. Not much is known about his past, Reaper (Core Hunter) has mention that he had saved him from death and rebuilt his damage body. Though Thrax has no memory of what led to those events. He is one of the few members of the Terrorcon rebels that is a skilled fighter. He was trained by Reaper and has something else that makes him a lethal threat, super speed. In his first battle against Evac's Hazard Unit in 2416, he badly beat them. Before the unit could open fire, they were on the ground badly damage. He also took part in the raid that would free the former Terrorcon Army leader Deviot. He's very loyal to Reaper, though something inside his systems makes him not like Deviot much. Since Deviot's return, many members of the older Hazard Unit has became active once again. For some reason he tends to struggle when it comes to fighting the original members of the unit. He's far more powerful compare to them, but its like something inside of him is holding him back. Battle against Evac: Notes: The helmet came from a Bionicle figure that broke apart from bad parts. After that I removed the long back piece of the helmet back around the time HF first started.
  8. Don't think anybody has one yet, though I would like to be wrong on that.
  9. I have something SG like in mind for Surge. As for a evil Stormer, that might be awhile if I would do one. Depends on when I get the right parts and get the design in mind for it.
  10. I like this figure, almost could fit in perfectly with Sinestro's yellow lantern corps. Though why didn't you use the newer hand parts?
  11. Vapour is one of the main reasons why I love the little background story that HF has. Kind of allows me to take what's given and make it into my own thing and in Vapour's case, more so. As the character really does not have alot of media focus, I took the character and made him into something different, a good guy. Background of my version: Vapour started out as a Jetcon soldier with his brother Rotor, though he wasn't really bad. Vapour was more insecure and was more of a push over by his older brother and other soldiers. When their leader Dark Matter (Von Nebula) became the first Terrorcon, they were upgraded as well. Even with more power, Vapour still hated being in this spot. While he didn't agree with the ideas, he didn't have any other options to find his real calling. During one of the first missions of the new Cyberbot Unit, the Hazard Unit led by Stormer, they engaged this new upgraded foes of the Throwbots. During the battle, Stringer and Bulk manages to get into the engine room of the Terrorcon's ship. The two fought against Vapour and Rotor, expect Vapour didn't fight. Bulk and Stringer knocked out Rotor, but Stringer noticed something different about Vapour. The two talked before Rotor came back online, which Vapour let them escaped and pretended he was hit. Some weeks later Dark Matter attacked human colonies on Mars, he orders Vapour to kill human children. Vapour refused and Dark Matter threaten to kill him. He didn't back off and attacked Dark Matter when he tried to fire upon a human child. Dark Matter fired at him, but Stormer took the hit for him. Since that moment, Vapour has been on the Throwbots and Cyberbots side. By late 2365, he was reformatted with a Cyberbot body and was a member of Stormer's Hazard Unit. By mid 2366, he was made commander of his own unit, the Gamma Unit. Though while now as a commander, he still wore his old Hazard Unit badge as a sign of pride. When Deviot's forces killed 149 government representives, Vapour and his unit went into action. They engaged a small Terrorcon unit and freed a government member from the allied planet Cybertron, Grimlock. When the battleship Matrix was destroyed in early 2367 through Furno's self sacrifice. Vapour let the displace Hazard Unit to stay on his ship, the battleship Axalon. For over a month the two units worked together on one orbital battleships, forming stronger bonds. When the Hazard Unit left for their new battleship, Vapour and his Gamma Unit continued to fight against Deviot's Terrorcon forces. During the final battle in the Galactic War, Vapour's ship and Stormer's new ship the Avenger led an armada of ships agaisnt invading Terrorcon forces. When the war ended, Stormer, Bulk, and Stringer of the Hazard Unit retired. Vapour on the other side stayed active during peace time with the Gamma Unit. He even helped teach the new Hazard Unit commander, Evac on how to become a better leader. Fifty years later, he's still the commander of the unit and a iconic figure like Stormer. While the war is over, some Terrorcons still have hopes of restarting the old conflict once again. One group under Reaper's (Core Hunter) command freed Deviot and ended his fifty years of immobilization. With Deviot's return, Vapour is more than ever needed as his new Gamma Unit fight alongside the new Hazard Unit against Deviot and Reaper's Terrorcon Rebels. Personality wise, Vapour starts out more insecure, but gains more confidence in himself after he joined Stormer's Hazard Unit. He quickly became friends with Stringer, Bulk, and Stormer. Over time he made relationships with the other members of the Hazard Unit. By the time he was commander of the Gamma Unit, Vapour was happier than he ever had been before and often had weekly talks with his old Hazard Unit buddies when he could. Even before the war started, Vapour was more into history and engineering. Stuff that he was discourge to do in his past. His historical knowledge became useful when the Hazard Unit was staranded on the planet Omicron. He immediately realized what he saw, massacred Maximals from the second member of Project X, the future Predacon Rampage. His engineering skills came into play many times during and after the war. He has invented several new weapons and vehicles for the Legotron Army. Post War figure: With Commander Evac: With the surviving fouding core Hazard Unit members: Galactic War figure:
  12. I'll do that, I think I got some around still in the parts box.
  13. Don't know what he did, but I did the same idea for 2.0 Evo and 3.0 Nex. Expect I used the basic idea from the Rahkshi back cover and replaced that part with the shield.
  14. Just doing my own take of the SG idea. In most series that does flip versions say like Star Trek, the character sill looks mainly the same with a few changes. Given Lego does not make HF parts in all colors, I ended up going that way with my SG version instead of the Transformers version. I mainly just listed the example from the Transformers version as the basic background idea.
  15. Core Hunter seems to be the real star out of the villain sets. As for Speed Demon, I was expecting more of a Flash like color scheme and a different helmet. Though the purple on bike is really nice to see. I'll probably get XT4 and Voltix and keep them with Core Hunter. The others are going to made nice additions to my parts collection.
  16. Lego HF B.O Rocka.
  17. Core Hunter would make the perfect character for that spot.
  18. Since I'm not doing the break out theme in my stories, this wave gives me the perfect chance to do something I've been wanting to do. In the Hasbro Transformer's universe, there has been a special series called Shattered Glass. Which the good and bad characters in the normal universe are switch in a different universe. So like the heroic Megatron against the evil Optimus Prime, so I thought I would try something like that out. At first I thought making an evil version of Stormer, but I thought of something more fun instead. Making a evil version of a dead character in the main story universe. So I went with Rocka or Rocker as I called the character. While in the main universe he get's beheaded by Deviot, in the SG universe he's still online. With this version, the character fought along the evil Stormer and his Terrorbot army against Deviot's Cybercon forces. During the final battle between the evil Stormer and the heroic Deviot, he fires upon his leader from behind and kills him and nearly kills Deviot as well. He then takes over as leader of the Terrorbots and begins to hunt down Deviot's freedom fighters. With his forces now killed, Deviot takes a ship and enters warp with Rocker (Rocka) following him. Deviot's ship is hit during warp and thrust out of the warp tunnel and enters the main universe and crashes. Rocker (Rocka) lands to find Deviot killed from the impact, but finds himself stuck in this strange universe. The normal Stormer and Evac locates the crash to find this other Rocker (Rocka), who attacks them. Since the first battle in 2417, he's joined the normal Deviot's Terrorcon rebels. Though he has tried to killed this other Deviot, he soon finds out he can't kill him and take over as leader. As punishemnt, the evil Deviot planted a bomb on him. If he tries to attack him again, Deviot can push a button and kill another Rocker (Rocka).
  19. To be honest, I rather see Lego make the Hero HQ building with the bricks and have them as many figures with it.
  20. Hero Factory Black Phantom set.
  21. Deviot was once the Terrorcon leader fifty years ago during the Galactic War (2365-2367). In the final battle against his foe Stormer, he was badly damage by the Hazard Unit commander and lost his weapons. Still though, Deviot had one weapon still around. He could never be killed and starts choking Stormer with his left hand. Stormer breaks free and attacks him once again. Before Deviot could strike back, he was immobilized by the spy Striker, who used holographic technology to make himself look like the captured Goldox. Deviot was defeated, his troops captured, and the remaining Terrorcon forces were either captured or killed by June 21st, 2367 and ended the war. Fifty years later, the Terrorcons are broken apart under Cyberbot rule. Many gave up the fighting after the war, while some kept on as small rebel groups. Though many of them were just punks trying to relive the old days. Expect for one group, that was controled by a former Terrorcon soldier in the war that escaped being captured. Reaper (Core Hunter) wanted to resurrect the Terrorcon army and finally crush the old foes. To do that he had to liberate Deviot, so he gather some of the best rebel soldiers and attacked. They storm the prison complex that Deviot had remained frozen in time at for fifty years. They broke him out and and reverse the immobilizer and freed him. While unable to move for fifty years, he could see and hear what was going on. He knew Stormer and the founders of the Hazard Unit had retired years ago. He knew about the second generation Hazard Unit led by Evac. He knew about the latest technological advances since the mid 2360's. All because he was more like a display piece for fifty years, watching as Legotron went from mainly Throwbots to Cyberbots and hearing them talk about the latest news, while looking at his immobilized body. During the battle against Stormer, his right arm hook was destroyed. So Reaper built a new right arm, this time as an ion cannon. He also updated Deviot's destroyed left arm guns and updated his body armor. Making the immobilizer's effects useless to him, removing the only thing that ever took him down. Character notes: One of two test subjects under Project X, unable to be killed. Tortured and killed Surge, who had blown off his right arm during a space battle months earlier. Killed Breez. Beheaded Rocker (Rocka) Killed the traitor Rotor. Nearly destroyed Earth's star, Furno ended his own life to save trillions. Nearly killed Stormer during the war. Destroyed the government command structure of the enemy through assassinations. Reunion fifty years in the making:
  22. Yep that's the 1.0 Furno helmet. Really do like this MOC, where did the number part come from?
  23. This one from 1994:
  24. There you go.
  25. Nice update, I do like the first picture. Almost looks like he's screaming at one of the heros.
