42056 - Porsche Speculation

Alright if you see this as literally 0 confirmation, then do so, But I don't: What does that mean for the existing plug systems on other Power Function and MINDSTORMS products? Will they also be changed? Yes, eventually we will convert to the new plug system after a transition period. The exact timing of this transition has not been determined. Yes, You can for 300EUR get a +50km/h vehicle that can actually take some beatings, But will you be able to take it apart and rebuild it differently, Does it have nice details and interiors like this Porsche does. Does it have a cool gearbox. Right, LEGO is not about racing, but that is what makes it special. -

Well I would say the odds are, WE Would Have Known. If they do introduce say a new buggy motor, well then it would be too late because it would have to work with PF system 1 and everyone knows that a PF system 2 is coming sometime later. Don't say a PF system 2 isn't coming, Cause it is. Alright? The above, as factual as it may sound, is really just the complete opinion of the writer. -

Why are some builders ridiculously good and creative. The best MOCs are those which can never be realized better. I cannot realize this MOC any better than it is. Superb job. I would have given you constructive criticism if I could. And Love that bloody Battle T-rex

Technic Jim, I know I am one of the few who do this, and a lot see it as unnecessary, but If you read your camera's instruction manual, it will explain almost everything you are and will be wondering about.: http://cdn-10.nikon-cdn.com/pdf/manuals/coolpix/L18_L16_en.pdf And Page 65 talks about White balance, check it out. And apparently with your Coolpix l18 you cannot manually set the ISO. -

The Search for beacon mode will be tough, I have never tried some mindstorm programming, But I see what you mean, and good luck. And also I don't think the car could have been any smaller I think it is really small.- 10 replies

Well, you need color range, the camera is rarely as good as your eye, and when it is, then probably the computer screen isn't. What I mean is, you might see that model clear and with no problem even against that black background, but the Camera could see at all black, and if the camera sees the difference, whoever would look at the photo from his computer would probably just see a lot of black. And of course, you would have trouble printing. So either, highlight you model, the rods and beams are shiny, so reflections with a small source of light will make the model stand out, something as simple as a smartphone flashlight. Not to much light, because then the whole thing would be white. Angle the light not direct, multiple angles too, one from the right, one from the left, and you can use anyone with you to hold the lights for you, also make sure that for highlights you are using light that is as white as possible. you could, if it is a car for example, put the car on the table and slide your phone under it and let the light shine through. Of course experiment. These are all suggestions. -

Well... I think it is a country, at least to an extent. And "you respect yourself when you communicate to the best of your ability and your respect the community by doing the same," since we are talking about grammar right now, you might want to change that second 'your,' in to a you. Cheers -
Wow, I least expected to meet someone here from Saudi Arabia, people here are mostly European, and then American, and some from around the world, like you or me. I know my country says America but that is where I live now, So that is why. I recommend to new members to set up their notifications from the settings, because you probably want to do that.

It should not be a major problem, and you can safely say that at least 90% of the time it is not a problem. As long as they have it in stock, and it is not a much demanded item (like some StarWars Sets) or rare/limited, and they don't have to back order it, then you should be good. It says within 5 business days for a reason.
