  1. This project has taken me forever to finish. It has been sitting on the back burner for a while. I had the first floor sans interior done for a while before I started on the rest and only recently got the interior finished. The first floor has a teller window and a few desks. The second floor has a vault or a security box room, and a loan office. The third floor is an office area where the employees are hard at work. It was loosely based on the First National Bank building in Richmond, VA. 2. I can see why you won with this model. The whole thing looks great. I like the curved front windows, the street lamps and the trees with the cage around the base. Everything looks fantastic.
  3. The whole thing looks great. I really like the tub and the sink.
  4. A recent trip around Richmond for some inspiration left me wanting to make some of the old buildings that I see everywhere in the commercial areas. The dark green one is a bar and has seating a bar, and a pinball machine. Upstairs is a pool table, cue rack and some chairs. The other building is a generic store. Both feature a detailed rear of the building. 5. I got mine in this morning and just finished building both houses. Its hard to tell from pictures whats going on but it looks great in person. I felt the brown house had more new techniques than the pet shop. I definitely feel that they could made some awesome interiors with just 100 more pieces or so. Some new pieces (to me) and some pieces in new colors are in this set.
  6. I really like the whole scene. The figs go great with it. The street, the buildings, the details. This is very nice work.
  7. This is the 2nd in a series of two houses together that we are making. This set was made by my brother but I do all the posting. These 2 houses were modeled after 2 houses in Richmond, VA. We decided to put an alley in between the two houses to try something new. Both houses are 18 studs wide. Both houses also feature a lot of SNOT work from top to bottom. Check out all the cool details, like the roof, greenhouse, BBQ grill and the porches. The tan house in real life was sand blue but he didn't make it sand blue because there weren't enough parts available (finished just before petshop pictures came out). 14. Thanks for all the comments! I had been wanting to make a winter village building for some time now and this was a great excuse to do it. thanks for putting on the contest!
  15. Nice job on the store. I like the candy bowls!
  16. Nice job on this one. I like the conveyor belt as well. Looking at the attic makes me wonder if that's where all my lost packages end up.
  17. Nice job on this one. I like the package art you whipped up and the bridge is a really cool add on.
  18. Here is my entry in to the expand the winter village contest. I struggled at first on what to build and than it hit me. People love having train tracks go around their tree and their winter village displays so why not make a station that would have a track that circled the town. So anyways here is my entry. The set consists of 3 parts: The train station, the mail bag catcher, and a train signal light. The track section is not connected to the platform so it can moved around to fit the other tracks.
