Heroica RPG - Quest #50: 108 Stars of Destiny
Darkdragon replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
Cinna walks over and sits down near Tesni, watching as the warrior maticulously worries over each blade. "Tesni, why do you take so much care for the blades? I recently trained in the ways of a knight, but I never thought it would be so much work to care for a blade. My Mauryl pretty much takes care of herself except when she gets stuck in a bog or something." She chuckles at the memory of pulling the broom from the bog but soon that turns to deep sadness as the memories of that quest come into her mind again. She goes silent and stares at a shining point of light in the blade of the sword Tesni is cleaning. After some moments she blinks and looks up at Tesni again with the question still in her eyes. -

Cinna accepts the Diamond from Hybros with a smile. "Thank you. This should prove to be helpful in the tower. I must say, I am somewhat jealous of all of gems you guys are able to get ahold of. It seems like I am always short on funds myself." -

I never said that i saw him kill Etzel, i only said i saw him target Etzel. Anyway, yeah I've already admitted my roleclaim was flawed - it was my first time, give me a break. -

Yes we did lots of discussion. Discussion doesn't change the fact that I was suspicious and I had to test it. Your insistance on why he was more important to keep alive was a major part of it. I didn't agree, and I really don't think there was anything you and I could have done to come to see eye-to-eye on the badboy/draggy situation. In the end, I was the one who was able to direct the action and I did it. Right or wrong, we really needed to take them both out but never did get another chance on Draggy. We should have taken him out on night 1 or night 2 at the latests, as soon as you had info that he was a PR. As the most experianced player on the team, please don't say you didn't lead or direct anything. We all know that's not true, and to say otherwise is just patronizing. We all work (or try to) together yes, we discuss things yes, but in the end somoene on the scum team ends up telling others a "final" plan of action (usuallyon the WB) - because there are some players that don't participate in the discussions and just want to be told what to do. I'm guessing this happens in town blocks too, but honestly I can't say that for sure because I've never really been part of one. -

Thanks Scuba and Hinckley! I for sure feel I've done better this game than any of my other games, but I still have a really long way to go and so much to learn. Role claim, I knew that was going to trip me up. It was only a matter of time before I was tracked. On the night I was tracked, luckily I had correctly surmised that I was gonig to be tracked that night - mostly because Bob had been tracked the night before, and there were not very many "unconfirmed" players by then. It made total sense. I'm pretty sure Ex2 was my first ever scum game, so yeah I wasn't very good but I did my best there and I did my best here. It's all about learning and improving and mostly having fun. -

@TPRU: This is by far the most fun I've ever had playing a mafia game. I forgot to say this before, but THANK YOU for the game. --- Even though the team lost, I think we started out with a lot stacked against us (perhaps mechanics, perhaps not, it's hard to say). Really we were all but wiped out by the end of day 4. Was there paranoia and mistrust on scum team? OMG yes. From the very very begining there was so much paranoia from a couple of us. I've not been on a scum team often, but I can't imagine that they normally would behave this way - it makes winning just that much more complicated. Yes, I took control at the end of Night 4 and had what remained of the team do something other than what Hinck had directed us to do. No, this did not lose us the game. In the end, only ONE target was changed and that was the kill. Honestly, there is no reason to keep an investigator alive over a blocker. The role iteslf was much less dangerous to us than that investigation role, which as you say Hinck is pretty much what got you lynched. I did what made sense to me with the info I had. Everything that was happening was very suspicious and if given the same info and the same options, I'd do it the same way. After my test, we all worked together much better - am I wrong? It's too bad we didn't trust each other, but these things happen sometimes. -

Cinna listens to what the woman says and nods. When Tesni approaches with the emerald, she smiles. "Ah yes, thank you Tesni. One day I hope to have some gold and get myself a collection as nice as Namyrra has." She stores the emerald with the other gems and then addresses Lady Shanxian. "Do you have any map of the area or perhaps of the tower itself?" ooc: stats look fine, just need to move that emerald now. ;-) Also I love the torso you used, I think may switch. -
Cinna strolls into the markplace for the first time in months. She looks over the goods at each stall, eyeballing a shield and considering spending half her gold on it. Sadly she sets it down and goes back to the potions, knowing those will be the most important thing for now. "I'll take 3 Grand Tonics." She hands Portia the 90 gold and heads off to meet with the rest of her party. 106-90=16 gold
-
She was sitting in front of the fireplace.
-
Her eyes widen. "Oh, I see. Well, I better be off then. I need to get some supplies." She heads off to the marketplace.
-
Cinna looks up at Hybros and blushes. Taking the gold, she smiles. "Thank you, I shall put this to good use in the marketplace. The direwolves...that was a mess. Tonics are a good idea. Will you be heading to the market as well?"
-
Cinna watched as her questmates left for the market. Checking her own purse, she sighed and sat back down by the fireplace. "Guess I'll just wait here until it's time to meet up." she said to herself with a sigh.

That's the thing. If you hadn't betrayed me then we would have had TWO kills per night which would have kept you in the clear longer. See, I was going to block Scouty that night you were suppose to kill Draggy. That was until I decided you'd betray me and decided to go with Plan B. Of course, we can only guess what would have happened, but that's half the fun anyway. -
