Heroica RPG - Quest #50: 108 Stars of Destiny

"I don't know, Hybros, they all seem pretty deadly to me. I'll take on that demon lady." Cinna attacks Red-haired Demon with Light using Mauryl, from the back row. -
Regulators can't give titles but Dragonator can! You are right about the first part

Heroica RPG - Quest #50: 108 Stars of Destiny
Darkdragon replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
"I think before we move on, I should make sure we are all at full health." Cinna uses the healing wand on herself until she is at full health and then does the same for Tesni and then Namyra. -
Love that school set. Brown door frames, Solid door!, friends girl with glasses!, a new boy fig. This is great.

I have not heard anything, but I'm sure there's mocs out there if you look hard enough. They gave us the silly Smart For Two model, so why not give us a Prius. Oh well, that's the great thing about LEGO: if we want something that doesn't exist we can just spend time to figure out how and build it ourselves.
-
That's the problem with Americans, they buy crap like Ford. No flames, it's a joke! Found On Road Dead is just a good a brand as any. The plural of Prius is actually officially Prius. I would know. I have two. Also that's what Toyota told us on the Facebook.

I think LegoLand Florida is closer! They are planning the hotel, hopefully they'll have a Friends room! That would be cool.
-
At least a City room would have been nice. I'd imagine that they initially designed the hotel before the explosion of new female fans though, so I won't fault them too much right now. If in two years there still isn't a female-friendly (City or Friends) room, then perhaps I'll take more issue with it. I do love the castle room though

Ah that's too bad. Looking at the URL, I think it might be the non-alphanumeric characters (after the board converts it for some reason) that are "breaking" it. Great dragon though! Totally worth the extra clicks.

Really cool dragon. I'd love to build this for myself! Only the first link works for me, the rest give a 404 error. Would be cool if you could embed a couple of the pics in the post too.

Each player will be given a character to play. That character will be aligned with either the Academy (town) or Black Mesa (scum). To win the game, the Academy must vote or kill off all Black Mesa, while Black Mesa needs to outnumber the Academy. Each character was given a sort of “bare-bones” character description as well. Feel free to expand on your character, to roleplay and truly become them. Each day will be played out in its own topic. During the day you will be able to vote to expel (lynch) a player. Voting must be done in the following format: Vote: Character (Player). Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format: Unvote: Character (Player). No other format will be accepted. A majority vote is required to expel (lynch) a player, meaning that over half of the remaining players must vote for the same player to warrant a lynch. You must vote in every day thread. A game day will last for 72 hours. You may not vote in the first 24 hours. The day will end after those 72 hours. After the day has concluded, a night will commence, which will last a maximum of 48 hours. Night actions must be sent to the host in the first 24 hours of nighttime. You may not post about the game openly on Eurobricks during that time (but may continue to use private messages). The alignment of expelled (lynched) players, as well as those that died during the night, will be revealed at the beginning of the next day. You may not quote or pretend to quote anything sent to you by the game host via PM. This includes the details of your character and role, as well as any night action results. Role claims and reporting of night action results are acceptable, but in your own words only. Do not attempt to use the structure of your role PM to your advantage. You may not quote/post anything sent to you by another player via PM. If you wish to use information gained in this way, you must do so in your own words only. Do not play the game outside the day threads. Similarly, do not post out-of-character inside the day threads. Game tactics and roles may only be discussed in the game thread or via PM with other players. Private discussion is done at your own risk and should be treated as part of the game. If you are dead, you may not post in thread or discuss the game with any of the players (living or dead). Any information you had becomes void, and may not be passed on. Don't edit your posts. You must post in every day thread. Violation of the above rules will result in a 5-vote penalty against you on your first offense, and the death of your character on your second offense. If at any time another player asks you to violate these rules (for example, asking you to give them your role PM), report this to the hosts immediately along with PM proof of the violation. That would be impossible. You'd have to paint it white first and then color it flesh, I don;t think that would turn out well at. I don't even recommend trying it.

Out of all the sets I buy, I only build the modulars (generally speaking). I leave those built as I use them for other things and parts from all the other sets I buy just get sorted/used for mocs. I have not taken any modulars apart and don't plan to, though I did dissemble part of Fire Brigade for some photos. I should probably fix that soon.

"Yes, of course. I was hoping we had an incense, but I guess only had the one." Cinna administers phoenix essence to Hybros. -
Building the Emerald Night via Bricklink?
Darkdragon replied to timmyc1983's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Buying the parts on BL vs. buying the set is usually not going to save you any money. The only way it really saves is if you have no timeline and you just add the parts if a store has any of them and you are already shopping there (thus the shipping wouldn't really be part of the "cost" for these parts). The reason it doesn't work is that the set's price is basically based off of the parts price. So there are only a few ways to actually save money in the long run. One way is to figure out what rare parts are making the set so expensive and try to get those somewhere else (normally an ebay lot) for much cheaper. The other way to save money is to substitute parts (like cafe corner old white panels @$3/each vs new white panels @0.12/each). And lastly, filling in any basic parts with what you already have which some consider "free" because you don't have to buy them specifically (though that wouldn't be as big of a hit with a train as it is with a modular building). Hope that info helps a little. It can be fun to piece a set together over time and then one day finally have all the parts and get to build it. I did it with Cafe Corner and the building means a little more to me than if I'd just gone to the store to buy it off the shelf. -
