  1. I have a 9v train motor I bought as "parts" I'm pretty sure the electric motor has worn out. While I don't mind tearing it apart and rebuilding it, it would just be easier to replace it. I was wondering if anyone had found a suitable replacement for the motor?
  2. This rockets to the top of my want list. I will be buying at least 3 of these sets.
  3. Impressive, Lego should have offered this setup.
  4. It really depends on what the store has left in stock. They had more power miners then anything at my store.
  5. as in the same sets he had already listed. Atlantis, Power Miners, Toy Story.. They did have some 221peice bins marked down to like 8 bucks if your just lookin for basic building bricks.
  6. This thing is amazing looking. I'm just starting back into this, I wouldn't even know where to begin building something as detailed as this.
  7. I'd be interested in a complete set of series 1. Lets talk..
  8. Target also has a lot of lego sets on 30% markdown. Same basic sets though.
  9. I'd like to see a police station, we have the fire station now we need the police.
  10. Lego might not make me nerdy but my other hobbies do, so its all sort of relative. I'm a nerd and proud of it.
  11. The Green Grocer has also been retired as well.
  12. I got 7848 and The LEGO book 2 book set so far.
  13. Thanks everyone, I luckly found someone locally who was selling a 9v Cargo train set *4559* that came with a bunch of extra track/switches, the crane car *4552*, and track service truck *4541*, I rebuilt it and was hooked. I ran out and bought the Emerald Night. trying to get a small christmas theme setup going right now. The Lego itch has me firmly in its grasp.
  14. I have always been a fan of Lego, I even managed to hang on to all my child hood Lego. I've been recently getting back into it thanks to my friends 9yr old son who is also a Lego maniac. I've been working on collecting the necessary bits to setup a nice Lego train/city layout, just this past week alone I spent over $400 though it wasn't a typical week. I've been looking for a local Lego group to catch up with, but the nearest one I've found is about an hour from me. I've been looking at various builds here and am amazed at the quality and the sheer genius of some of the builds. It has certainly come along way from when I was younger. I hope to learn new things and contribute in some small way. The only cure for the Lego addiction is more LEGO! Thanks!
  15. The Lego store in OK had one set left as of tuesday and was willing to ship.
