Any idea for a suitable torso for Barada ? I went through white torsos, found some plain shirt, but none with a bandolier. For the cape maybe a red one as my Kithaba has a dark red. This thing new or old "Minifigure, Headgear Hat, Cloth Wrap" is not even in yellow color, nor orange which would be the right one. Thanx for any suggestion. Maybe looking within TAN: 973pb3178c01 973pb3750c01 (tusken) -> this is the closest i could get

Thats because its not big enough. It should have been bigger. That why i have to build my own instead of purchasing this one. They simply recreated the Hasbro Haslab version in Lego and even slapped the 500 USD price tag on it. 3.75" collectors were glad to receive such a big vehicle after while , but lego is smaller and thus there is possibility to create the interior from crossection book and movie. I would have no problem giving them 500 Eur if the barge was bigger and with more figs ... -
Why not just source the bricks for the saber and build it ? It should cost less that the aftermarket prices.
-
Its not about what is a fine number for UCS set - its about what is the good number of minifigs for that particular set/product. An oversized TIE Fighter / X-wing , A-wing with only 1-2 figs that interacted with the vehicle in a 200eur set might feel ok. In the cantina there are 21 to populate the detailed model. Barge is a perfect fit for a MOC bigger environment so there could be more minifigs to go along with it at that pricepoint. Why is there no Tessek when they have the quaren mold ? If they want to overblow the price, there should be more minifigs to justify it and the existing one should not be cheapened. And really comparing it to the 76269 Avengers tower with 5201 pieces and 30!!! minifigues for the same price (+ a GWP with 4 additional figures), then the barge really looks like a rip-off and i will not tolerate it nor support it by purchasing this set for that price

Hows that only -3 points ? That pretty dealbraking. 7 is like, yeeeeah there are some minor issues

I mean people in my country - im not aware of a big D&D community, but the figures are so good as for medieval and generic fantasy that they are constantly sold out - all of them, not just paladins. Also the D7D movie was a failure, yet its getting sets. Seems anything that is castle/medieval or can be generic fantasy will sell well. Sure the XW/TIEs will be constantly rereleased for some new kids. Not sure how much new SW fans there are - all the kids oriented shows and toy lines are cancelled after a short period. The brand is bleeding fans and new ones are not pouring in in masses. Cor Gunship - probably could get more figs to sell better. Justifier was too expensive for what it was. Bad Batch shuttle has not sold much ? Dont know, its sold out while the Justifier still can be found here. -

But to kids it would be a different colored hutt to play with. There was also a TV series with a new hutt - also not supported by lego and that was explicitly aimed at kids. Here almost nobody really is a fan of the D&D universe, yet the D7D minifigs are constantly sold off as they appear in stores. You dont need to appeal only to the avg consumer, but also to the SW fans who are tired of constant XW, TF, Lukes speeder etc reeditions. Kovakian monkey lizard - appeared in mando, in other shows Loth cat massiff - appeared in Ep2 as well as in Mando there are many animals in SW, totally overlooked by lego - yet i constantly see one of molds used in CMF SW animal could be reused at least 2-3 times -

Its their stupidity to not use some of the specific molds. In SW they could make a hutt like every 2nd year Gardula for Ep1 set Jabba for a current Underwold set Ziro for a Clone Wars set the 2 hutts in Book of Boba Same with any small SW animal which could be placed in any set. Like i dont understand why we dont have something like the Friends pockets - a small pocket/pod with a minifig, few bricks and a small collectible animal - there is so much great small animals in SW to collect and use in moc. -

40eur for the battlepack is terrible deal. Not to mention i have to get the old helmets for all the new stormtroopers (i have maybe 30 old stormies + 20 sandtroopers - so maybe ill upgrade the body for most of them) But 75387 is constantly on discount for around 38-45 eur with a really good bonus figure and a rebel captain and usable bricks to make a big Tantive corridors MOC so ill pass on that battlepack unless its on 50% discounts and rather get more of the Tantive sets (Fives will be much more valuable in the future as pink R2 and there will be more demand for him) and i can sell excess Vaders to kids for like 5 eur as the mech is still available for 15e. Wondering what to do with few old rebel BP i still have as MISB in stock, ill probably sell them to get the funds for old stormie helmets. -

In the set, he has the silver front print - its not plain. In the movie still on the sand scenes, the leg seems to have a different color than the rest of his body. There are multiple problems with the scaling: - the minifig is too wide compared to its height - this is difficult when making correrct scale speeders with 2 minifig sitting next to eachother - the sets for bigger vehicles in SW were not created in the proper scaling in mind, making them appear bigger from the inside as they actually are from the inside - for the barge its clear from the movie and its backed by the crossection that there should be a 2nd floor room at the back - this was omitted due to the scaling - possible because the inspiration was in Hasbro haslab barge where it was not possible to have for 3.75" figures - ill see when i try to build my own barge -

" And brand manager Patrick gave a very clear answer: there is no ban on her and they could make her if they want to. " If you really believe what Patrick (a corporate goon) says then i have a bridge to sell to you Why dont we have a slave Leia for 40anyversary of ROTJ with pinless joints ? or even a swapable legs like they did for the 3.75" version which i regret not to purchase along with the 3.75" Rancor with Oola for like 80eur. 5eur ? Did you bought like 10 of them ? Its selling for 60-70 usd, selling even opened. Yes the campaign was lazy but an Oola would 100% cause it to be successful - i would back it myself. I have watched the counts to the last minute and it was a very close one - an Oola would tip the scale with no problems. Yes, im collecting SW lego since 1999 (though i have not all the sets, i was a student with limited income, i have more sets as i started to work) You can put the leg back like 20degree and is still not noticeable, 45degree is already noticeable. But how many times do you need to bend this figure legs to the back ?? Usually its on display with straight legs or better sitting or lie next to Jabba. Actually the issue you mention is true for any figure with leg prints and they dont care in other cases. Many of the SW troopers and figures looks totaly stupid when looking at from a slight angle - Lando in the skiff was more acurate with plain TAN legs then with the just front printed new version (yes they are able to do side print on legs if they want to), Scout troopers would benefit from a black legs with white boots + some printing on it - they do it constantly for the CMF (check the great M-tron figure leg print) - yet they refuse to use printed doublemolds in SW theme to cheapen out on the customers i have a couple of light nougat legs somewhere (970c90pb05) so i could try to make a custom cloth piece to go with the legs -

Ask Lego and Disney. Its this stupid woke and politically correct mindset that did not existed in the past. Some years ago there was a Hasbro campaign for a 6" rancor and they did not include Oola in the offer, nor in the stretch goals -> and it was the first SW haslab project to fail (Reevas lightsaber was the next one to fail). Slave Leia (not to mention they are afraid of the name so it has to be changed to huttslayer) is also a banned figure across all producers I dont buy this bending of legs excuse. 500eur (or is it 550) is a lot for a set with too many fails and imperfections and yes, it needed MBS level count of figs - the display of the figs outside is plain stupid. Figures shoul populate the scene and the whole vehicle belongs to a MOC brickbuilt environment. Yes, it starts to be sad they are pricing out kids out of the theme while doing lame and lazy job for the wealthy adults. Also every time they are presenting such set it laughable - because you see a flat with only that particular set on display - they are completely out of touch with the avg collector and how his display looks like. A SW CMF is long overdue - too many characters we dont have from the OT/PT movies while they are also far behind with the TV shows figures. I have cubic meters of bricks already, so im looking at each set just for the figs as im not child and am not impressed with the system scale vehicles - i need minifig scale or something close to it, any bigger ship is a pile of bricks for me. Also why SW does not have a polybag set wit a small build with minifigure ? Im not talking about the advent calendar level slightly bigger microbuilds. -

married, 2kids, but lucky for me no mortgage while i have my own flat - so imagine being able to spend the mortgage budget monthly on toys and collectibles. Yes, im less critical of the skiff (got it for 70eur) - i am critical, but still did purchased that set, but at 500-550eur. Waiting for sale is ok, there is too many other products from lego or other brands. Sooner or later it will be discounted. I got the Razor Crest for almost 400eur (when considering also return VIP points and all the gifts). Barad Dur was a day 1 pick as the unique nazgul was in demand - its selling for 120eur at least and i can still sell the set for +- the catalogue price and buy it again once there is a bigger discount later - dont really have space to build it. Yep lego is pupmpig out too many expensive sets too quickly and we usually dont want to miss it for its MSRP and pay the extra on secondary - thats a reason i bought a lot of sets - keeping in mind i can still sell them for catalogue price later if i dont want to build it, but i run out of storage space in my 4room flat - i have now like 1 cubic meter of sets to sell and i started to count it that way (so far i sold already 0.5 m3, but that on top of the 1 m3 i need to sell :D ) Looking at my 6" Hasbro figure, its more like a coat up to his feet - so the cape would be close enough. I they wanted to print it, they had to print it lower as on the minigifure. Hand should be that dark blue color as they are sticking out through the coat Unfortunately figs like Oola are banned now. Im sad we never get the twillek twins Ann and Tann Gella (in similar style as Oola) Microfighter ? I dont think so, it was maybe difficult enough to talk Disney onto allowing them to have Slave ehm huttslayer Leia in a big set for adults :) If accuracy is everything for you, then this set is not for you with so many inaccuracies i listed -

If you put 2 and 2 together and see the overall cultural war (no more sexi female in games to name another) you would understand its woke political correctness and i can only hope, more people would reject this and vote with their wallets. They had no problems use the cloth pattern and naked hip is all of the 3 previous minifigs, but all of a sudden now in the age of woke, its a problem. In the end this all will only play to the hands of custom producers and chinese producers. Lego is so lame in the prints that i will later spend money on custom prints figures than on original lego and im lucky that one of my friends is already producing such items - i just need to wait until he gets to do SW figs as i suggested (im waiting on imperial uniforms). -

Seriously ? Are u blind ? Dot u see those naked hips ? Actually the improvement would be to have completely Light Nougat legs and a piece of cloth in front and back - they did some skirts already in the past like the Hawaian dancer girl in CMF- and print on the cloth -> that would be like an ultimate version of that figure. There is absolutely no reason to print tan (light nougat) - just use such legs and print only the cloth peace as it was done for the 3 previous versions - the only imperfection is that right (from my perspective, or left leg from minifigs) has always a like 0.5mm shift, its a print issue many figures have - but i would like to tolerate tick imperfection over the shorts she has now. I can bend to old Leia like 20degree to the back before that missing printing area is visible and if they wanted, they could print each leg separately and print it more on the edge / round surface This is for sure for political reasons - the same reason we cant have Slave 1 wile like dozens sets before were named so. And woke lego immediately jumped on the idea to cover Leias hips ... Its the same reason we cant have a rerelease of Slave leia in 6" for from Hasbro although people who bought recently released 6" Jabba desperately need her - im lucky my friend bough me one at discount and i did unboxed it now and placed her on the correct place near Jabbas belly :) it looks very good although that figure is not super perfect with all the joints visible - they have now some technology to at least get rid of the pins connecting the joints which is very visible on naked skin, yet they dont use that feature to rerelease new slave Leia -

Wondering the same. Im from Eastern Europe, post communistic state where the official avg netto salary is 1070 eur. So i can understand why people for country like mine are moaning about the price, but Germans or British for example ? Im lucky that my financial state is good and i have a well paid job, but still - i have multiple hobbies which are now competing for not just my money, but also shelf space. Right now im looking at upgrading my gaming pc for about 1000eur to by able to play Space Marine 2. Seems this set will have to wait until its like 350eur. Not because i dont have the money, but because the product is not worth the money or the perception of the value is simply not there as there is a lot of issues with this set, many of which could be solved if done right. -

Looking at the crossection from the book Compleete Vehicles. The barge should have almost 2.5 floors. There is a full 2nd floor room at the back of the vehicle and underneath the main floor there is a dungeon, huge water tanks and maintenance corridors around the engines. So this model is kind of tiny in compare to the real vehicle. Seems they target was to rebuild the Hasbro haslab Sail Barge in the lego form, slap the same price and thats it. The more i look at the "real" thing and the lego model, the more i dislike even the built itself - perhaps some techniques are good and could be used for a bigger model, but thats about it. Its like when i bult the old UCS Sandcrawler and then i saw the real UCS Sandcrawler by cavegod's which can be found here on Eurobricks too - the old "UCS" from lego can almost park inside the true minifig scale one https://x.com/ClassicStarWars/status/520174409886085122/photo/1 I feel like Magna Tolvan (go and look her up if u are not aware), i have to constantly use the word "sloppy" in connection to the lego SW products (at least the ones im collecting - minifig scale ones or with minifigs - i dont care about statues, helmets or midi scale ships, or oversized UCS vehicles) -

Lets start the rant: Gamorean - missing dualmolded legs to see hius green legs - looking at my 6" Hasbro figure, the legs are pretty prominent - so another fail with the dualmolded needed but not used Bib - unacceptable reuse of the fat mold - lazy, missing cape (coz cloth is very expensive nowadays for lego) Kithaba - we already had him (sw0397), minimum upgrade, but OK - the headpiece is more accurate. Yet missing doublemolded legs. Vizam - not totally bad, could also use doublemold legs and the headpiece is not a bad choice if they dont want to make a new mold Wooof - OKish but should have a leg print of that wool skirt Leia - unacceptable, doublemolds shorts used for political reasons only, missing the jewelry on the hands and printed boots (i display mine on studs, i immediately took her off the studs due to the legs cracking issues as this version will skyrocket in price) 3PO - should have been have been the one from UCS landspeeder and the statue as thats the most correct one (personally dont have him yet, landspeeder was not interesting enough to purchase, statue the same) R2 - ok, another to the pile of R2s Max - ok, reused, dont see a bally print on the picture, dont really care since i have 2pcs and he is not really an usable figure Salacious B. Crumb - ok mold, but terrible eyes Jabba - i dont really see what is different, but i own 2 pcs of the previous figure which was already perfect --------------------------------------------------------- So for me like 2 new usable figures and they still not perfect btw Barada (the other klatoonian similar to Kithaba which is not in this set) seems to wear similar pants as Han in Ep4 - blue pants with red stripe and black boots - could be a new piece that would be reused for proper Ep4 Han For the built - i need to see more detailed pictures, but it seems to be too small. Its even missing the stairs to the upper deck So for now it seems a pass for me for the day 1 purchase, not even the free saber could save this (i dont know who wants to fork 100eur for a lightsaber set which can be built out of own bricks when for about 130 you can have the actual metal functional replica with glow, sounds, that can be used to battle ...) This is like a 300eur set I probably need only Vizam, Woof and Kithabas headpiece - everything else is a crap in this set. My wife will be glad :D - the only person who will be celebrating this set in my household. Seems even the build is not good enough and i have to resort to simply build my own - bigger barge, i thought they will save me some time on thinking how to construct my own MOC, but if i want a perfect barge for my Tatooine diorama, ill have to do it myself ... -

You can call it as it is. Woke and politically correct. Im glad i have all the previous versions, as the last one made her breasts smaller and now even this stupid shorts. It makes me really angry as there are many figures in SW line which needs the doublemold legs and they did not used them. Last example is Lando in the skiff - overpriced set yet they were unable to make correct Boba and give Lando printed doublemolded legs (Tan with DK brown or brown boots) And correct, also the C-3PO is cheapened. https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Wooof His name is Wooof :) -

I cant agree with this. The bad thing to buy a set day 1 if its not perfect only enforces them to by super lame and lazy with the set design. Remember the yellow clonetrooper which was taken as a pilot by the design team ? Such an ignorance. So NO, if the set is not perfect and accurate to the smallest detail -> no day 1 purchase if the price is too high. Lego needs to learn to do better, after all their motto WAS (as its not anymore): "only the best is good enough". where are all the leaks ? Im checking only insta legoleaks and redit legoleak -

If the set is really good, that you want to built it ASAP, then its understandable. Sometimes a good GWP will push you to buy it as those can then make a difference (Barad-dur nazgul?) Here the GWP will be a saber, not fitting with the actual set and probably something that could be build out of own bricks - so only hardcore collectors would want to have it as MISB with the printed tile. For lightsabers i have miniatures metal replicas or the actual thing with blade and sound - around 100eur is a starting point for a decent saber with sound, sensors and multiple color led. -

Im willing to buy sets day 1 at full price. From what i have heard about UCS Sail Barge this does not seems to be a perfect set worth full price and it possibly wont be saved with the GWP. I dont want to fork 500eur for an inperfect set and then wait for someone to buy that expensive GWP (which is just a bunch of bricks u can build from own bricks) for 100eur -> ill simply wait for the Barge to get to 400eur directly - if it even will be worth 400. If the build has priority, dont you have a ton of brown bricks as spear parts ? I did that for the AT-AT. The set was too expensive for what it was and the minifig selection was bland - so im building an AT-AT from own bricks + purchased the special ones. This way i can build 2 AT-ATs for like 400eur and use them in future Hoth mocs.
