  1. So, any rumors for what this year’s rerelease could be? Brickset put out a comprehensive article last year with good guesses of future rerelease options. So, do we have any indication or idea of what this fall could hold? Please let me know if this is in the wrong topic.
  2. Ebay is almost always higher than a BrickLink. Bricklink is still a lego community.
  3. That head looks like a fantastic Hawkeye design! I can’t wait to see what he comes with.
  4. Are you serious, man? If someone has information that the public doesn’t, they can’t just reveal their source. Whether they’re credible or not, and I’m obviously going to give them the benefit of the doubt, you have no claim to the identity of their source. That’s now how leaks work, that’s not how any of this works. Someone doesn’t lose their credibility because they won’t reveal a source, that’s how they build their integrity.
  5. I think you’re absolutely right, and the theme only partially applies to Marvel. It’s anyone’s guess, and not worth spamming the thread with.
  6. I believe the Star Wars Boost droids released this year were codenamed “Jaws.” But nothing in particular comes to mind before that.
  7. That’s a really good catch, the more I look at it the more I see it.
  8. Welp. Was expecting that, though not this soon. How do we now have 2 minifigue scale versions of Thanos and not one movie-accurate bigfig? That being said, I think it’s a good design. I really hope they give us a nice design for Iron Man in his mech.
  9. I love where you’re going with this theory...
  10. While I think the spider-man sets for 2020 will provide us with an outlier suit (like the 2099 variant this year), I think it’s anyone’s guess as to what the suit(s) will be.
  11. Given how television-based this next Phase is, I can only imagine we’ll get sets based off at least 1 or 2 of the series.
  12. Updates on my comments earlier about the 2020 set 31199 Lego “Zebra” is being described as an “adult-oriented theme.” It may also include 2 Star Wars sets labeled “adult” sets. So it will potentially include 4 Disney-licensed sets. I’m really excited to see what “adult-oriented” set they bring forth for Marvel.
  13. There is no way they’d give us another Black Widow. They already used her QR variant in 2 sets for this movie. I think she can be counted out. Unless I missed the part where she and Hawkeye biked to Vormir.
  14. Maybe Zebra could mean D2C, yeah. I don’t know what Art could be, but Music could be the Ideas Piano (assuming it’s approved at this point), Disney could be the Disney train (although that’s rumored for September). Plenty of options for Marvel, could be.
  15. My only gripe with the idea of them being buildable figures (besides personal reservations) is that they’re listed as “mechs” rather than character names. Buildable figures have always just been “Captain america” or “Obi Wan Kenobi” in the past. It seems that would’ve been the set name that leaked if it were as simple as that.
  16. Any clue why these new listed sets, 75276 and 75277 are? They’re listed as “Adult White” and “Adult Green.” An explanation on the post equates “adult” with “16+.” However, the sets only have 625 and 647 pieces. Is it possible these sets could be based on The Mandalorian, explaining the 16+ and the relatively small piece count? Or could they be additional Boost droids, explaining the older age setting and the piece count?
  17. Would they really revert to making those though? They’ve cancelled the Star Wars line of buildable characters, and only made 3 back in 2012 for the Marvel line.
  18. Has anyone seen the posts about the sets in a “zebra” theme? It’s got to be code word for something. Set 31199 is labeled “Zebra Marvel.” This theme also includes “Zebra Art,” “Zebra Music,” and “Zebra Disney.” This small line makes up sets 31197-31200.
  19. So it’s possible it could be a Chitauri or 2014 Nebula or someone piloting a Thanos-themed mech. Or a minifigure-scale thanos, which could be cool if done right. It’s possible the 4+ set could have Mysterio and the Ditko suit. We’ve gotten exclusive character variants in Juniors sets before, like the first minifgure Green Goblin in 2016 (excluding the 2002 run, of course).
  20. I just saw your post about them, I definitely trust your sources. However, doesn’t it seem weird that Thanos would be in a set with only 152 pieces? Is it possible that 76140 and 76141 are one set? Adding the part counts from both make a perfect 300 pieces, and we’ve gotten big-figs in $30 sets before. That speculation aside, I’m scared. A truck with 477 pieces has got me thinking our favorite heroes will be driving around in 2506. And yet another set with 200 pieces where the bike dominates the build? I can only hope the set is reminiscent of 6865 (called the “Avenging Cycle”) where the set included many small side builds and happens to contain a minifgure-scaled bike. Finally, if LEGO is so dead set on cramming vehicles down our throats, you know what vehicle was prominent in the final battle that would totally fit into a $40-$50 set, and has become somewhat iconic across a certain MCU franchise? Luis’ van, now with the quantum tunnel in the back. It’s inclusion would be a fantastic opportunity to give us an updated Wasp as well. I don’t know with these set names, guys. I hope LEGO has something great in the pipeline with the minifigure selections. “Like a turd...in the wind” This...this I agree with. I loved the model they rendered for LEGO Marvel Superheroes in 2013.
  21. All of this talk about redeeming VIP points for potential exclusives...has anyone has any luck entering the VIP minisite? Any time I log in, I’m immediately logged out.
  22. I have a Bricks and pieces order that just arrived in the mail yesterday. Today, I was charged a second time for it. My PayPal balance is out because of it. This new site is super problematic. I hope everyone gets their issues sorted out.
  23. Um, has anyone checked out the new VIP Rewards Center yet? The LEGO Batpod model that you could win by lottery in 2015 was “brought out of the archives” and made available today for 15,000 points using the updated point system!! It’s now sold out. That’s crazy!
  24. I think this is a great idea. Just because LEGO did something once doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll do it again. At this point, any comments relating to a Bricktober Pack 2K19 would just be pure speculation and/or wishlisting.
