Eurobricks Spaghetti Western Competition
Stardusty replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Obviously I don't have enough sense of humour. Everythign iscrystal clear now, thank you. Answer to the post above mine: That's interesting. Fabuland figs are also treated as minifigures. Now I want some of them. -
Eurobricks Spaghetti Western Competition

I still don't understand... Few times word figure is mentioned. If you say figure that could be figure in any size. If it's clearly stated minifigure, I understand, but this way... So please, just say, in which category minifig scale is needed to qualify, and in which category scale doesn't matter. Please, it's easier for everyone. -
Your son is very lucky to won something so rare (like I've said few times before). I can't even imagine what numbers could spin around this horribly rare item. I wish you best of luck with seeling it, when ever you decide to sell it.

Eurobricks Spaghetti Western Competition
Stardusty replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I'm afraid I don't quite understand you. Category two is town, and it wouldn't be a problem to build it in micro scale, while building custom figure in micro scale would be more than a problem. So is that a typo, or micro scale town really wouldn't be allowed, but different sizes of custom figure would be allowed? I couldn't find anything new in rules. -

Very nice! I know who will especially enjoy entering this contest. I see minifigures are mentioned here and there, but is micro/miniland/macro-scale allowed? -
This one made ma laugh for minutes. Hilarious!

Now that looks much better. Iceberg is better shapped and white pieces don't look like snow anymore. Appa is really good too. Omashu scene looks nice, but that first Azula looks really wierd. Second one is much, much better (second version of Toph is also a win). One question, though: Doesn't Toph has light-blue eyes?
-
I must admit I was hoping you will make theatar scene from 'Ember Island Players', with uglyfied characters, but I guess this is ok, too. It's pretty basic build and not really accurate (iceberg was trans-light blue), but it still deserves . Figs are great to, considering they are hand-made. Also, I'm pretty sure there shouldn't be any snow on the iceberg, since it was actualy in water for hundred years.

Hello, Ru! It's nice to see you on Eurobricks. Like I've said on MOCpages, this is great, good-looking and innovative tree design. To bad I don't have any brown hoses, I would really like to try out this technique. What kind of hose is it? Riggid 3mm one or Soft 4mm one?

LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace TV Special

I'm looking forward to this one. I'm a big fan of good humor and animated fimls, so I can't wait. -
And another perfect mini by Legostein. I must admit this is my favorite, from all of your minis. Use of headlight bricks and brackets is just, just... beautiful. This is one small masterpiece of SNOT and thos chainsaws are nice detail.

Thank you for very nice review Oky. This is one of the two sets I want from Cars theme (other one is Tokyo Pit Stop). In Croatia Carssets are really expensive, but if Ifind this one on sale, I'll definetly buy one. Pictures are all beautifull, crisp and clear. Only one that caught my eye was the one with bag two pieces. Aqua pieces and pinkish shadows. Eww! Everything else, including the text is perfect (although pink shadows re-appear sometimes).

Wow, this set looks much better than I expected. Thank you for a great review Cklone O'Patra[/b. I'll never buy it because I consider it to expensive, and I'm not a big fan of HP theme, but if I would got it for birthday/Christmas I would be more than happy to have it (and not only because of the free LEGOs).

Your son is old enough to insult one of the most respected members of Eurobricks (who is also a great reviewer - IMHO second best one on EB (I somehow like Rufus' reviews more)), but he isn't old enough to learn basic manners and listen to some critics? He was rude, and that was obvious from the first sentence in his post (he doesn't respect other opinions). And then he insults CoP. I mean, really, in 5-7 years he could be wild law-breaking teenager. Do you even care about that? None of you obviously care about grammar or spelling too. This was probably only reason why I wrote this post. Usually, I just read reviews and rate them on from 1 to 10 on my bad-good review list. Anyway, thank you for a great review Clone O'Patra! It sure gave me a good laugh. I guess 'lovers will find the way' is reference to 'Life always finds a way.'. Am I right? My opinion about the set: I really like those figs. They are awesome. I must admit I really like Ginnyfig a lot, too (not like Aayla Secura or Shaak Ti). Do you think 6$ is a reasonable price to pay for it (I don't have any of the HP sets, but I really like the fig)? Other figs are cool to, but Ginny is my favorite (best HP minifig ever). Old version is really ugly - one of the figs I don't want to have - ever. I don't like the Burrow at all. I guess that's just because I saw both the set and Matija Grgurić's version in real life - and Matija did a great job.

:drooooooooooling: Rook, this is amazing. Judging by the thread subject, I wanted to skip the topic, but since I had enough time I checked it. And I sure didn't regret. Shape of whole starfighter looks fantastic, and when you add glow, it's beautyfull. Job well done, job well done.

I agree that Mater's Tall Tales' are great. "What happened? Well, don't ya remember? You was there too." Heavy Metal Mater is my favourite for a lot of reasons: - Guido sings on the start of the episode, and it sounds so funny - Lighting McQueen looks really cool I really like this theme, but onl because of the characters, so I'm still not sure about buying any set. Not to emntion that they are expensive in Croatia

Very cool! Your soon is one lucky kid. I wonder how much that fig really worths. Personally, I would never sell something so rare. Only 7 of them exists, and 5 of them were used in that raffle or whatever. Of course, I can't be sure about that, since I don't own something so rare, but if you really want to seel it I suggest you to wait few more years, just like bunch of EB members said before me.

Redirecting the lighting is hilarious! Groaners FTW! Sarge one is funny too. Great job as always Oky!

Stardusty replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thank you for great review, WhiteFang! It was such a pleasure to read it, and it helped me with decision what figs I'm going to buy and what not. That magnifiying glass is pointing in wrong direction. (trying to make it bigger, ha ) -

That's one really impressive army. I wish I have that many Horn Company Troopers and BS Troopers (I found non-SW way to use their legs and torsos). -

14) Punk Rocker Entry (Build by kost u grlu) --- 3 points Simplicity is sometimes the best. Off-topic: You know what's lame? When you have your entry and photgraphies of it ready for more than a month, and you forgot to upload it and enter the contest before the deadline. Sometimes I'm so stupid. I'll post it in a day or two as MOC on EB:
