I'm also very excited to get the 6M shell again, and in black too! Sorely needed for MOCs. The leg pieces I can also see a use for, and lightsabers are something that I've been wanting for a while now. I'm not the most versed in CCBS parts, is Luke's torso a new shell?

Darth Vader looks pretty great. Nice, imposing size, and I'll probably pick one up. Luke is actually not a bad looking build. It's just the organic head looks so unnatural compared to the mechanical CCBS body. An attempt to make the head look slightly mechanical or robotic might have served the design better.

I'm sorry friend, but ... Tahu and the large Toa are going to cost $30. http://shop.lego.com/en-AU/Tahu-Master-of-Fire-70787?fromListing=listing On the other hand, the smaller Toa are $20, which I feel is a decent price: http://shop.lego.com/en-AU/Gali-Master-of-Water-70786?fromListing=listing

I've been trying to find updates too, but nothing specific has popped up. However, of note is that the Myer website now has Bionicle in the search "Suggested Keywords" even if there are no results. For example if you type "Bionicle" you'll get suggestions like "Bionicle protector of" or "Bionicle Gali". The Toa names appear too, for example typing "Onua" gets you "Onua master of". It could mean anything but it just makes me confident that at least Myer will bring it in, and hopefully this means it's soon.

It would be lovely to get an LOTR theme, and it'll take up the bulk of my purchases surely. Even though I don't obsess over it that much, LOTR is something I hold dear to my heart. On Stranger Tides, I hope you understand why we can't take your word just yet, but I really hope what you say is true. It would be awesome!

Hello, this might sound like a obvious question, and I'm not even sure if it belongs here, but it's my first time ordering on Bricklink. I was wondering if it is usually the policy of Bricklink sellers to provide the minifigures' lightsabers or other accessories (like blasters) along with the figures? Nowhere was it stated, and the stock photos of the figure do not show the accessories. Thank you! -
We're already past due for stopping this argument, but just a few more things. I love those games, I really do (Although I have to question the argument for canonicity in regards to TCW in this case, when games such as Galactic Battlegrounds, Battlefront and Empire at War have many little problems of their own. V-Wing bombers, the production timeline of the A-wing, inconsistencies with the AT-AT origins and hundreds of Sith Knights running on the battlefield?). However the games alone simply cannot keep the Lego franchise afloat like the new Clone Wars series has. The highest selling titles in Star Wars are in the Knights of the Old Republic, Battlefront and Force Unleashed series, and each individual title sells around only 1.5 million copies on average, with none as of yet passing the 2 million mark. Impressive numbers for a video game, but again consider the game audience of mostly teens or adults like you and me. This age group just wouldn't scrounge up enough spending on Lego sets to justify extensive production of sets based on the games. Far too many teens and adults, even if they liked Lego, would not be willing to justify spending on what they consider to be "toys". Therefore, theoretically, Lego might be able to support themselves of entirely on video game designs, but when a kid-appealing juggernaut in The Clone Wars (the new one) series comes along, why not jump at the opportunity? There may be an argument that Lego has not focused enough on what they now call the "Classic" Star Wars, but I feel it is perfect business sense to use The Clone Wars as the main line. So actually, I do agree that many ship and location designs from the video games should have been used by Lego. There are simply so many opportunities to get fresh designs out (we could still use a giant Ebon Hawk set ). But Lego would really not survive well by relying entirely on these designs, so that's where the Clone Wars comes in. Now let's really get the thread back on track. Does anyone know if the Advent Calendar uses cheaper plastic, or is it the same as the mainline sets? I was a bit disappointed to find that the Minifigures series that I've gotten recently were cheaper plastic.

I know we're supposed to stop this rant, but it really doesn't seem fair to drop this off without a proper resolution. But that's exactly the point. Cad Bane was just pointing out that you unceasingly attack The Clone Wars, as in the animated 3D version out right now, and the one that you so often refer to as Neo-Clone Wars. It is all worthwhile to state your opinion, but to do so in such a disdainful and continuous way can be very grating on the TCW fan. For example, why must you continuously refer to it as Neo-Clone Wars? It has a proper distinguishable name, or you could simply refer to it as the current series. To continuously use Neo gives of a heavy sense of disdainful and snarky sarcasm that really can be avoided. Don't get me wrong, your opinion is very much respected. However at times it would be appreciated if you'd tone down your displeasure for the series so that in a way, other people's opinions are respected too. Eurobricks will altogether be a friendlier place for fans of all things Star Wars, continuity and aesthetic disagreements aside. EDIT: I did not see your new topic brickartist, thanks. It is much needed.

Thanks for your replies guys. What little I've gathered is that it's supposed to be announced in February(?). I'll keep a look out around here. Thanks again.

Hello, I'm really sorry if this isn't an appropriate question. I have not been able to search online for help. There was a sweepstakes that was around throughout December where one could win an iPod Touch and a 4842 Hogwarts set. I didn't save a copy of the rules and the website has been taken down. The former link is here: https://registration.warnerbros.com/tw1ue/MainPage.html Does anyone have a copy of the Rules? Specifically, I'm curious about how the winners will be announced and when. Thanks a lot, I really would appreciate your help.

Hello, do forgive me for asking, but I didn't get a good look at the Summer Ninjago sets when they were leaked and now they've been taken down. Could you guys kindly tell me if 2507 Fire Temple has all the minifigures as listed in this Brickipedia article? Were they sighted or is this a guess? Thanks.

Hello, I was wondering if you guys would help me on this one. Do you know if the year's exclusive sets will be restocked after Christmas in the United States? Specifically, I'm talking about Walmart's Luke's Landspeeder (8092) set that has been out of stock at the two Walmarts I go to, as well as online. I'm not willing to pay higher than retail price as it's not a must-have for me, but it would be nice if they restocked in the future. Thanks for your help! -
Oh, I didn't know those were official buy-able sets! For the longest time I thought they were very good customs (as I searched on Google Images), and indeed they do look excellent. I really like that Giratina.

I'm sorry for continuing this, but I must say I agree. At least in Canon, most EU stuff (C-Canon) is able to be overwritten by the G-Canon movies or T-Canon TCW. Somehow I feel the negative sentiment towards TCW is not based on true canonicity, but rather a preference for certain "canons" over the other. People have of course, grown attached to the Clone Wars Multimedia project launched about 7 years ago, and certainly many would feel disdain over a new series that retcons most of what we've grown attached to (I know what it's like considering I followed the older cartoon series as well as the Republic comic books and a few novels). However, the older established continuity isn't without hiccups of it's own, for example the problem with reconciling Labyrinth of Evil with the Clone Wars cartoon. So, it really isn't fair to continue being so snide towards TCW simply due to canonicity and not really due to its actual quality. Even with valid arguments about quality, like Penitent Tangent said, the comments do get tiring, especially to TCW fans like me. On-topic, Mace's Jedi Starfighter is a bit bland, but I still like it. I haven't been able to pick up any Jedi Starfighters in the past, so I might just grab this simply because it is Mace. More importantly, those STAPs and Tactical droid are much needed components of my droid army.

Well in all fairness, the 8088 ARC-170 was 396 pieces for $59.99 as well, so I'm thinking it's increasing prices that's the cause here. As for the figures, I think Shaak Ti may have pushed me very near to buying the T-6. I'm a big fan of Shaak Ti, and it helps that I've not a single Anakin and Obi-wan minifig yet. Also, for the Battle of Naboo set, the Gungans are beautiful!

Oh yes, I watched the 03 series with great enthusiasm last time. It was the best thing for Clone Wars at that time, but I was a bit perturbed by the uber skills the Jedi displayed, nevertheless I really enjoyed it back then.
-
Didn't people say that for the Prequel Trilogy as well? For me, I simply love the current Clone Wars series. It feels closest to the movies among Expanded Material stuff, and it greatly fleshes out our current characters. For example, Anakin is given much more character in the show than in the movies. What really perplexes me is the hate for Ahsoka, seems like she is hated more than Jar Jar here. I find her a great character and I don't see how she's harmed Star Wars in any way besides a lack of respect for the Jedi dress code. That's why I continue to be excited about next year's stuff. Any news on the Republic Frigate?

Well Jordan's credibility was a big concern in the case of the Millennium Falcon, since he said that the Falcon was a false rumor a while back. So if he's not credible, that adds more to the possibility of the Millennium Falcon . Which is already pretty much confirmed by KimT.

REVIEW: Prince of Persia 7571 Fight for the Dagger
TFGuy89 replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Licensed
Nice review, and you convinced me to grab the set. It's really fun, and the best Lego set I've had in a while. I especially love how all the separate elements (wagon, market stand, camel, trap doors) all add to the playability, and considering this is my first PoP set, I must say that Dastan and Tamina are amazing minifigs. Asoka and the market seller are pretty remarkable too. -
Either way, these rumors are driving me nuts! I can't say which is true, but I am subjectively opinionated towards supporting the South African toy site's list, because a Millennium Falcon is so appealing! Of course this also means I have no clue which side holds more credibility. I really hope we get this rumor mess sorted out soon, especially through picture confirmation.
-
I really hope the Millenium Falcon rumor still holds true, but I'd also be extremely pleased if the Padme's cruiser rumor turned out to be true! Besides the Millenium Falcon, Padme's cruiser would be my priority set of the year!
-
I would be distressed if the Millenium Falcon turned out to be false, we haven't really gotten a "normal-sized" MF for quite a long time.

Thanks for the news commanderneyo. I'm sorry that some have been a bit harsh on you, but in my opinion, I can't really see what's the point of posting news that one knows to be fake, so I doubt you'd do that. While I'm not sure what the sets will be like, I appreciate your sharing.
