Well, Storel I have a solution: you are a wonderer with amnesia. You just wake up one cold morning, alone in the field, in the sleeping rags, and all you have are some basic (and, if you would like) magic armor and weapons. An adventurist is passing by: you start to talk, but he knows nothing about you, or your armor, cloth and weapons style. Your accent is also foreign to him. But he informs you that he is traveling to the great Drow Gladiator games in Rilauven, in Nocturnus. He also noted that he know few people there, and, if you want, he could get to you to participate, as you look like warrior (or mage, bard, rogue, what ever you want) that can handle him self (or her self, if you choose a girl). Now, you can join the guilds without having to choose yet :) Make an avatar and enlist him in Gladiator games (click the link and it will lead you to the eurobricks topic, here in "Guilds of Historica" to the gladiator games), on sole authority of me :) You can participate like the guild member, and you have a pretty good story! (And I can't wait to announce you "... Sir Anonymous form unknown lands, as HIMSELF! " And as the time passes, you can build what ever you want, and in time, maybe make a story why you lost your memory, who is your enemy (Dr. Rod is looking pretty suspicious with his bottles and potions! :))), and, eventually, remember that you are a part of Mitgardian royal court, for example:) And, again, by my authority, you will be legit to get the prizes, if you win, even do we do not know which guild you are part of, but we do know that you are part of SOME guild, although you can not remember yet ;) Do you like the idea?:)

Thank you friends :) I was wondering if anybody's going to notice teeth bars (they are white on red after all:); there are seven minifigs, not including dragons, goat, fish and other animals ;) I bet you can't find them all ;) Notice that the top of the highest tower is a five-pointed star ;) And that there are nine levels of water ;) (That's why pictures are best seen large, clicking on them ;) Also, if you fallow the link to the brickshelf folder, you will find many more details I've hidden inside ;) Along Ched Nasad, I think this is the most elegant castle that I've build, and I've enjoy it SO much :) I will try to get my girl to pose near it, so you can get the feel how high it is (she is 180cm, and, on a desk, it is so much higher then she :)) And here are some details ;)

Join any guild and use your imagination, you could be a hermit somewhere in Nocturnus, and build in Avalonian style, or you could be explorer in Mitgardia, with Avalonian heritage, and build in their style, or you could be a businessmen from Khaliphlin who lived long time in Avalonia, and like their building style, and build "avalonian". So, you could build what ever you want in any guild ;) There are no boundaries ;)

I am building my mocs around AD&D world, or more precise, around "Baldur's Gate" games :) All my inspiration comes from there, although my creations rarely have something really in common with the games ;) I like to mention the names and make up events, and I try to come back to the characters and things they done in my previous mocs, and connect them. But mostly, firstly I build, and then I sit and watch the town/tower/temple and make up a story, trying to somehow connect with previous mocs and the BG I and II games ;) And due to the fact that I have a lot of red and black bricks (and almost no other color:), I've decided to build something with evil tint ;) Drow were my first choice, and they are present in BG I and II - so, perfect match

Llurth Dreir is a Drow city, located deep inside The Mystic Isles, on the top of one of the highest hills. It is Nocturnus embassy of the Drow in Avalonia, and it is in the only place where Drow would feel even a little secluded and safe. Although originally part of the city Rilauven, contact with this remote outpost began to be so infrequent that the settlement got the status of the independent city. Matron mother claims that she has a hold over it, but it is yet to be seen. The city is located on the top of a peek, and it is highly inaccessible. Being in a middle of The Mystic Isles, water is everywhere. All that stale and swampy water that you see going trough the marches, here is fast, sparkly and always on the move. Lots of waterfalls, small lakes and caves filled with water. In the city we can see two towers, from which eastern one is so high that we loose it in the clouds; on the same side there are a long stairs leading to it, with more then a hundred steps, but half of them are under the water now. To the south there are two small bridges over the creek, and on the north, glamorous bridge connecting two towers. Although this is an embassy rarely anybody that is not a Drow comes here. The hill is hollow, and part of it is taken by the city, and other parts, smaller caves, are occupied with wildlife and natives, and we can see a mother dragon feeding baby dragon with fish caught in a cave lake, filled with fluorescent fungi and plant life; and on one of the cliffs we can spot very wise looking creature, meditating. There is a lonely goat walking trough the pebbles on the hill road. Stain windows, red marble, magic atrium, a cloud, underground entrance with a bars and a werewolf, all can be seen in the pictures here The moc is 1.6m high, on a 48x48 base, and I barely lift it to take it to the panel for photographing, and I am much stronger than you know ;) the creation is not hollow, and is filled with bricks to the last spot. More then 3000 round plates 1x1 were used for floors, paths, walls, windows and red marble, and that is only info that I have, because I've used all I had :) I must say, I've never enjoyed so much building something on such a small base ;) and yet, it took me more time to build that black rock and stream of creek, then the whole cave and city. There are more then 60 pictures of pretty decent resolution in the folder, so pay attention to the details; I have not mentioned everything ;) I proudly present to you: Llurth Dreir, the Drow embassy in Avalonia! First post updated with new contestants! :) We must note that there are only 22 places open now, as shown on the graph ;) The Drow like the attention that our nation is getting with this games, and our beloved matron mother ordered that a totally NEW set of armor and weapons be brought from the towns treasury as a gift to the winner, as shown on the picture below, including armor, helmet, hair, sword, staff, shield and bow (but not the minifig, pink Drow, it must be some kind of mischief:) (armor and weapons are made by BrickTW) So, the winner will get: two sets of armor&wepon from the picture from the first post; some fantasy oriented items from Brickwariors (Thrash) (which one will remain secret for now), and a "spice-up-you-heroine" pink armor&weapon set. and there could be more ;) so, join the games! Btw, if we have less combatants than we need, few will skip first (or second or third) round, and that will be the last ones that enter ;)

Brickshelf is on again, and the first post is updated with new combatants! :) Also, the Drow will see into these sinful intrusions: someone had stolen the ice-axe of Winter elves, as presented by our bouncer. We have no proof who took it, but we suspect Elves of the Rustling Leaves. There is also a talk about infiltrating forces in our Drow town, which used gladiator games to slip our guards made by: rogueang, reagrding this post But again, we have no proof, but we are watching you, surfecers! Drow rule supreme!

? What about presentations of moc already linked to the bickshelf? All of my stuff from all of my posts are linked there, just check the ""Drow" thread... I do not have enough nerve to do all that coding again. But, I do hope that brickshelf is going to work again, pretty soon ;) Does anybody have any news?
