  1. Maybe this set is not my type. I prefer real modular buildings. I know that it is impossible that the price will be USD 12(by volume). I think about USD 50 is a fair price. (4.3 times instade of 6.8 times(USD80) more expensive than real modular by volume.) It is good if we also have price per weight(g) and price per volume(cc) database for each set for reference.
  2. Thanks 'ADHO15', And good job that you build the 10220 so fast. The removed parts is #44570 roof 4x4 with forks (fold table). The bug is a 4x4 plate can not connect to under of it by 8 studs. I fix the Rear hatch, 30377-3731 errors and add roof cloth Pics and lxf

  4. Interesting model. But chains get removed, too. Is there a way to backup all parts update so we can use all parts without have to backup whole program every update and patch? I mean just parts libray files so we can roll back when need some special part.(save HDD space) I modify it a bit here and here.
  5. Not sure my calculation correct or not. L x W x H = 1/4 but have five = 5/64 of one normal scale in volume. USD 80 / 5 * 64 = USD 1024 one normal scale price. Very very expensive. Almost 7 times more expensive.

  8. Good job Alienwar9! It's fun and challenge to build by photos without instruction. I love to play this "puzzle games", too. You can use groups function to group each building for easier to "play" them on LDD. Thanks guys who like my fine-tune. Here another one. Not sure correct or not. 10. Thanks 'RoxYourBlox' for sharing you useful method and amazing works. I download them all when I saw it on the first page. They are so creative and very very impressive. I agree that the good creation not have to be most accurate. The sketch method also work in 3D. I plan to build a LDD diamond model with standard ideal Brilliant(diamond cut)WiKi Link. I draw it to a solid model before so I can check all the angles and distances. I already post how to move LDD brick to any decimal distance in any direction x/y/z here.
  11. Thanks, 'alienwar9'. Yes, I have that problem sometime. Maybe the collision is too much. Have to make all collision stable. [/url I make the sketch above wrong scale for easy to look. To move Red brick forward 0.02046645 stud unit. Add Yellow Green Blue. 1. rotate CCW G+B 0.58633084° 2. rotate CW G+Y+R 1.17266167° (about 0.58633084°x 2) 3. rotate CCW R 1.17266167° Also can use MS Windows's calculator scientific mode to calculate these angles (Trigonometry). If you don't want to move that too precise. Just try to use easy angles like: 1/2/2 1.5/3/3 2/4/4... This method can move brick to any decimal distance in all x/y/z directions. ldd precise move by Nachapon S., on Flickr
  12. Thank for sharing this useful tip. Could you let us know your PC spec?
  13. I found this new technic when try to build 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=60324&view=findpost&p=1077271
  14. LXF download 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer, I draw this sketch before try to build it. It show that the ideal angle for all hinges is 17.95582373°. But It's impossible to perfect build by normal method because: 1. The hinge at the middle (14 and 2)will not connect. 2. the side bar is 87.89766777 instade of 88 studs long . The left side of the LDD model proof these.(I input 17.95582373° with hinge tool then it become exactly same as the sketch, see lower-left red circles that's 0.10233223 come out and can not connect). We know that LLD allow a very little bricks collision. but by normal move method. The minimal move step is 0.1 Studs and that is too big for allow the collision. In this case we have to 1. make the side bar 0.10233223 shorter but also within collision allow. So I divide it to 0.02046645 x 5 collision places then it works! LDD allow those collisions and I got a 87.89766777 studs long bar to do a perfect assembly(perfect both angle and length). 2. Precise move the middle hinge so it can connect to both side bar and center bar. The result show on the right side of LDD model (red circles). The right double bars are copy form both side then connect at far end to show that they are 0.10233223 different in length (red circle). I will explain how to use this technic soon. see 3rd post.LXF download lego 10030 _ please find bbqqqbbqqq at youtube by Nachapon S., on Flickr This is one of the 18 functions that I was post in the topic "LDD 5, what do YOU want?" http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=58396&view=findpost&p=1073211 #9. Move select brick to any direction x/y/z by input number.(stud units support decimal) #7. Tool to apply allow collision property to selected bricks.(can build model that use flexibility of real brick, Why limit ourself and give up the advantage of virtual)
  15. You are welcome. You can share your MOC here. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=50708&st=0
  16. Nice X-wing. First you have to solve a LDD bug by import the Clip-and-Bar Hinge Template http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=48239&view=findpost&p=848679 to make all of them perfect connect. (or learn to make one, Clip-and-Bar have to rotate to connect with hinge tools. Never move to connect=always off-center a bit. Just make one then copy). Then try to average/balance left-right angles (make sure no collision), Just a few try to get all 2.8 degree. LXF x-wing-fix by Nachapon S., on Flickr
  17. Thanks for your comment and share your good mathod (same way I use before). I just draw the sketch and use dimension tools to mark the angle and distances I need. The polygons one is not for to know the angles (this case angle are fixed by the parts), but for check the ideal distances. I didn't use any data on the left side for build this. We know that big structure of real brick always much more flexible than than LDD one. In this case how to place "leftmost and rightmost" brick with a 35.1914 studs apart? Could you try to make just all main supporting structures and try to put all of them together? I found the answer: To build a fine trim/adjust-able bow compass. Then use Precision move method HERE to adjust the redious to 17.5957(35.1914 /2) Meybe I just over do this. Anyway, I think this sketch method can use in most cases not just for polygons type (sometimes no center point, different length of hinge arms).
  18. Thanks 'Calabar' . I already do that. Thanks for comment and suggestion 'Superkalle'. I just try something new. We know that everybody can delete that and re-save (overwrite) in seconds while first time open it. It shouldn't be a big problem right? Hope I can learn how "author" tag work.
  19. Thanks for your comment and good idea. 20. Thanks you for your good comment. I am all agree with you. Yes, the yellow minifigure are "classic". Maybe another reason is to make skin color pastic stay stable in color is not easy ,or not worth the manufacturing cost in the past.(Plastic industry still young, manufacturing quantity/material/technical reasons)
  21. Thank you for your good comment. I agree with you maybe I did this too quick, hope I can replace it with better one. It would be nice if have option to purchase this. (different color parts for each series in one bag/box). They can match with licence theme's minifigures.
