Thanks, only the T joint and elbow with stud are new. I found other three in LDD. I think it should be good with metalic or chrome colors and connect a red valve(steer wheel 2x2) onto the middle stud of the T joint.(maybe on next CG update) With many of these parts we can build a maze of piping system.

I'm glad that you like them and thanks for good suggestion. I will try to design more versatile part like this one. I changed the picture with both 3 and 1 new parts versions for easy to compare Adjustable angle range 90-180 degree. Also can use as wing edge of an airplane. Heptagon sample. Thanks for nice comment to let me think about 45 degree brick again. All walls can insert door or window, look better and stronger than other 45 degree wall. We can always find a way to place them onto a base plate or build a roof. With similar design, the angle of the corner bricks can be 30/60/120/150 degree, Pentagon, Hexagonal, and 3-4-5 triangel's angle, etc.(coming soon) lego 45 degree corner new part design by nachapon by Nachapon S., on Flickr

Please take a look at my new SNOT version water slide parts design assembly sample(3 studs width)(5/7 new parts set). All of the support can attach 3 studs from bottom. And they are different level by ? x plates height. Good work! I tried to re-pose it, but rotate the leg not enough so all legs become a bit too long. LXF pic

LDD, run on a tablet PC
Nachapon Bricks replied to Nachapon Bricks's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
What win7 driver do you use? From AMD or Acer web? I will try it. So do I. Automatic screen rotation didn't work with win8 CP. -
LDD, run on a tablet PC
Nachapon Bricks replied to Nachapon Bricks's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I use APU driver for win8 P 32bit instead of GPU driver. Maybe win7 GPU driver can work with item 1 and 2. I just found that there is a GPU driver for 6xxxM (w500=6250M) win8 on AMD web. Should we try that one? Not sure what different with APU one. Edit: Found that both lead to same download. Maybe driver for win8 (and win8 itself) still bug and not optimize yet. LDD, run on a tablet PC
Nachapon Bricks replied to Nachapon Bricks's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Maybe I didn't explain well. The Acer w500 got on March 2011, first old version. Installed Win8 consumer preview 32 bit on 2nd partition(dual boot) + AMD Win8 driver. LDD problem in Win8 1 Can not enable AA AF. 2 Run slower with big model compare to Win7.(I didn't measure FPS, but easy notice-able when turn the camera) 3 Can not turn/flip bricks by touch function (flicks) as in the video clip.(or I don't know how to) 4 Can not quick focus/center bricks. What's the angle?
Nachapon Bricks replied to pauldk's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
This topic become a mathematic class. We know that trial and error method is quick and good enough way to solve this problem. We try to find ideal angle just for fun. I agree with Rook that if all hinges are at the same side then it will be easier to solve. It will become as sketch below. Use red and blue triangle can find the ideal angles set. 5 / sin A = R = 28.42973795 / sin 6A , then find angle A angle2 by Nachapon S., on Flickr Excel: 5/(SIN(B4*PI()/180)) - 28.4297379516589/(SIN((B4*PI()/180)*6)) Then trail and error cell B4 to make the result closer and closer to zero.(R-R=0, then same R) A = 5.469182598479° R = 52.4601998774508 Angle #2-6 = 169.061634803042° I test this result by draw a sketch with above data and it seems correct. It is difficult to keep angle #2-6 equal and keep all six segment (10x5 + 10.04987562112089027021926491276x1 (paste from calculator):Because the first hinge is different) keep connect at the same. Your calculation is great. I will try to study them. That is a good idea, DLuders. Just build it with real brick then measure the angles in real world. -
What's the angle?
Nachapon Bricks replied to pauldk's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Maybe there is only one angles set that the arch most tan to the bottom line. (This one just close to that, for the ideal one: angle# 2,3,4,5,6 should be all the same and close to #7.) angle by Nachapon S., on Flickr -

Nachapon Bricks replied to Superkalle's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Try "Rotation Model" function of MLCad, It limit 20 bricks height. So you may need to separate making upper and lower part. But the result not look so good. Maybe Lsculpt can do better. -
