Hey I know a number of women that drive better than some men I know... (Yeah, I can say this without of stuttering... ;)) E.g. my mom is a very good driver, as my ex-girlfriend was... Then again I know several girls that are really bad drivers... E.g. some friends of mine, which all are very unsure if the traffic around them is getting confusing.... Most men I know don't drive very good, though they think so... Actually they are just driving way to fast (Hey, this must be true if even I say that somebody is too fast.... :D ) and way too inconsiderate... But this is cool and funny, so they think they are good drivers... :| I for myself developed a worse driving style than I had one or two years ago, sometimes I break rules (e.g driving 30 km/h too fast... :$) and such things... But I still always try only to break those rules that hasn't any sense... E.g. crossing a zebra crossing without of slowing down and watching out for people is and will always be a big no-no.... So, after turning this funny topic into a philosophical discussion: What do you think? ;)

LOL!!!! But here some word of me as this thread's feminist: (hey, anybody must help the girls... ;)) I don't think womens' ability to be such bad drivers isn't a result of genetic things or in there nature or whatever.... Those prejudices result from all those housewives that drive a car maybe once per month to ride to the next supermarket or catching up the babies from kindergarden... So they aren't excercized in dirving.... But most men are riding to work every day, mostly the husbands have to drive long distances when visiting e.g. the grandparents or whatever ("Darling, driving makes me tired, can you drive please? *kiss* )... So they are more experienced.... Hehe, what do YOU think? *G*

A very well done little "Prefab".... :oD I really like it!!!

I'd say it's more Tim-Burton'ish... A mixture between Sleepy Hollow, Adams family and maybe a little bit of Potter.... ;)

Just returning from this movie I have to tell you about it... ;) I saw it in the Sneak Preview, though it was sure that they would show it tonight.... First of all: Jim Carrey is doing the most excellent performance I've seen since long time (at least as an real comedian, I don't count Truman Show since this is a much more intelectual role he plays there).... He is acting as great as he did in "The Mask", very funny and very great!! The whole stages and props of the movie are looking very well and stylish too, they support the crazy and melancholy atmosphere very much... Actually the whole movie has this amazing atmosphere, from the beginning to the end, its funny, melancholy, sometimes a bit sad, but almost all the time also a bit crazy and wierd (exactly how i like it... ;)) Oh, and there is the funniest and cutest infant I've ever seen in a film!!! :D So go watching it folks!!!

2004/2005 Hunting Star Wars Sets and availability
ApophisV replied to DoubleT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Wow, thats so cool... My opinion about SW '05 so far: One half of the models is superb (ARC170, turbo tank, catamaran, walker,...) and the other half is just ugly (the speederbike from the turbo tank, the wookie attack things and so on) The Minifigs are mostly done very well, I especially love the new pilots!!! They are looking more evil than both the storm- and clone-troopers and even much cooler!!! :D Some complaints though: Mace is looking like.... hm.... This face could be every other guy except... Mace.... :| And the sand green scout trooper is looking ugly..... My 2 cent.... ;) (Sorry if I repeated things, but was too lazy to read the whole thread..... :D :$ ) -
PM'ed ;)

Hm... - plates + tiles as Lego boxes (Maybe with stickers?) - A Jango Fett Minifig on a pedestal as a life-size brick sculpture.... ;) - Same with Bionicle Minifigs if we really will get some... Thats all I currently can think of.... Oh, and by the way: Nice houses! Like Athos I like the tan house more, it just looks more classic while the red one is looking a bit colorful... But as a Lego store I think it is okay.... ;)
-
Hm, somehow I have the feeling that there will pass many many time before this happens.... *wacko* :$
-
Wow, not bad... :oo So you Lego fans from Hong Kong are city guys? ;)

Oh, Mini, were you talking about the Viking Kabayas? Or about the Star Wars Minis?

Hey, let's hope TLC will donate those bricks to us, finally we're doing a massive advertising thing for them too.... ;)

I asked in a local toy shop for the Jedi Starfighter set, and they told me that they'll get in in MARCH!!!! >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( *devil* *devil* :'( I think I'll try to get a confirmation in the other toy store, otherwise I'll drive over the border to the Netherlands the next weeks... |-/ -
And we all a) don't even have to pay any travel tickets (except the guys that has to travel to the coasts...) and b) will arrive all together at the event... ;)
