  1. ahh... your right. that makes sense. i was trying to make it as compact as possible but that would work for a bigger version. thanks.
  2. thanks. i thought about putting rails down the sides but A: i wanted it to be easier for it to do different heights and B: i was running out of pieces. i did try to even out the differences between the two sides but one side always ended up going longer than the other. both sides are run by only one motor. i guess if i put two motors in it (one for each side.) then i could even it out manually. i put two strings because i thought it would be more stable.
  3. really good design. looks really good too.
  4. here's another model i made a while ago. it a power functions lift that gos up and down. (not very well though.) this was more of a experiment than anything else. more pictures on brickshelf here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=452658 (once they become public.) sorry about the picture quality. and a video of it working:

  7. really nice MOC. well done.
  8. well for brickset: We have piece counts for 102 of them. Using that data we have calculated that you own 18268 pieces! We have retail prices for 61 of them. Using that data we have calculated that their total retail value is £975. and for peeron: Totals: 103 Sets (103 unique), 18,170 Parts, $1,876.5, 111 Minifigs. but i'm not sure whether thats all my sets or not. it's 99% of them though i think.
  9. great MOC. i like the colour scheme and all the detail. well done.
  10. I replaced the grey plates for some black ones and added a bit more to the front. so now what do you think?

  14. This is a HotRod with power functions for steering and drive. it has working steering, working front and rear suspension, a working 2 speed gear box and a working folding roof. this is currently built at the moment. i tried my best with the colours. if there's any improvements to the design i can make just say. more picture's on the brickshelf page here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=451635
