I got 6 stickers, 4 were red rectangles. This is what I came up with for a MOD of the TIE Fighter. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=117243

So, maybe a reddish orange then?

Poe X wing mods: no bands/retractable landing gear/full split wings

Great work, here's mine. Maybe you will be inspired to further MOD yours. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=117243 -
I will.

I guess the colors are orange, yellow, LBG, black & dark gray? If I had the spare money, I would order the parts and make it based on the 75050 instructions.
-
Let's put it this way, I was trying to coral a 5 year old and I was spilling apple juice. I wish I had time to have done it in store. The lady was packing up when I asked for the second one. I should have just asked for a big bag of pieces. I had the parts at home, but my son didn't seem to care about his, so I used some of the orange pieces from his to MOD my full size X-Wing. Some dude took home the yellow cardboard LEGO branded sorting trays that were being used at the table.
-
After I took the pictures, I took off those tapered pieces on the sides towards the back that have the orange and black smooth plates. I changed that dark gray 1 x 4 plate for 2 1 x 2 black plates and also added 1 x 1 smooth black plates and 1 x 1 smooth orange plates on top of the exposed studs.
-
Thank you! So I need to change the trans red round 1 x 1 plates on the lower cannon to green then?
-
I got 4 red rectangles, several other people did too. I got my TIE at midnight on Force Friday at TRU.
-
I got two, but I was shorted a couple of parts for one of them.
-
Also for the TIE, the dark gray plates on the inside of the wings were replaced with LBG plates. Also for the X-Wing, some black cheese wedges by the wing hinges. And yes, in the background you see a heavily modified AAT piloted by red arm C-3PO which was done by my son.
-
There are either extra red stickers or the instructions don't tell you where to put all of them.
-
Sorry, I forgot to add notes. For the TIE, I did the rotatable lower cannon and the inside spokes. For the X-Wing, I replaced many of the dark gray and LBG pieces that were visible. I added the printed tiles in the cockpit. I added black slopes to the finish the "incomplete" engines. I tweaked the back of the engines with single stud slopes, orange single stud bricks and orange 1 x 2 plates. A few smooth plates in orange and black. I added the black cheese wedges and the orange grill pieces on top of the spring shooters. And, I copied the build of the wing cannon extensions from the 9493 X-Wing in black.

We knew, there were just extras.

FO TIE MOD idea credit goes to Martini26...
-
But I got shorted two pieces in one of the bags...
-
Technically not a purchase, but I got 2 mini X-Wings at TRU.
-
Got another 75088 Senate Commando Troopers battle pack. My son already had one, but he took everything including the figures apart and mixed them in to his LEGO mad scientist lab.

I managed to buy two at TRU without having to buy anything else.

I'll sandbox it in LDD and mess around with some pieces from my LEGO room to see how it works before I order anything. I want to physically see if the telescopes work, otherwise I'll stick with the lightsaber hilts. I have to wait until pay day to get the pieces for your FO TIE MOD and the MOD I want to do for the X-Wing. I'll definitely share pictures. I think my idea for the X-Wing engines is on point and simple.
-
Actually, I might do the FO TIE cannons like you did, except I will probably attach them to the turn table and double them.
-
Awesome, I'm definitely ordering the parts to MOD mine. I don't usually do much MOD'ing, but I think in this case, it is essential. Looking at it without the inner spokes, it just doesn't look right. Thank you for making this MOD, I would have never noticed the lack of inner spokes. I like your MOD for the cannons under the cockpit, but I might do something different after looking at pictures of the "real" ship. This is what I'm going to do for the cannons... (1) Turntable 2 x 2 Plate Base BLACK (1) Turntable 2 x 2 Plate Top LBG (2) Minifig Tool Light Sabre Hilt BLACK (2) 1 x 2 Plate w/ Handles BLACK (2) Minifig Telescope BLACK (2) 1 x 1 Round Plate BLACK (2) 1 x 1 Round Plate TRANS RED Speaking of MOD'ing the X-Wing, I noticed it needed MOD's bad. It seems LEGO didn't "complete" the FO TIE and the X-Wing. I'm going to change the wing cannons and make them how they are done in the 9493 set, just the extension part, not the wing mount. And I'm adding some black slope pieces to the engines, which seems odd that LEGO didn't do that. (4) Curved Slope 2 x 2 BLACK (8) Curved Slope 4 x 1 Double BLACK (4) 1 x 1 Brick BLACK or DARK GRAY or ORANGE (4) Slope 25 Degree Angle 1 x 3 BLACK (1) 1 x 2 Tile BLACK (4) 1 X 1 Cone BLACK (4) Bar 6 BLACK (4) 2 X 2 Dish 016 Inverted BLACK

Speaking of retiring sets, how much time is left for the UCS Slave I? Will it still be available in March?
