I do own one of the 2009 shooting cannons, and I jave yet to use it in a MOC because it doesn't match my non-shooters. On the topic of the meblem, I just turn my non-shooters over. Looks better to me for a Pirate creation. Has anyone considered putting one of these on a "cannonball" to make it easier to find?

Picked up a slightly overpriced Kraken Attackin' for ~12 bucks. I'm very satisfied , I may even do a review/comic with it... EDIT: for stupid spelling error

The View - Modest Mouse specifically. Usually I listen to alternative rock, punk, po, etc. Recently re-discovered Wolfmother, so that's prevalent for me ATM. I use Pandora while playing videogames, using the web or building Lego.

At some point or other I was pressed by a friend to make up an Internet name for myself. Steel Dragon was the first thing that popped into my head, and so it has been ever since.

An employee signs their name somewhere on the box. I considered "shopping" it out somehow, but I don't want to steal from TLG. My brother's still trying to find a way though, moral-less hellion that he is.

Went to see Invictus yesterday... it was really good, despite my lack of knowledge on the topic of Nelson Mandela's election, or rugby, or anything South African. The rugby scenes were really great. Overall, 4/5.

Yep, exactly! My brother (who so effectively packed the cup) and I have decided to use them as currency for special items in our Lego RPG, for which I am building the layout.

Back in elementary school the library was home to two Lego models: a Sopwith Camel plane (not very interesting to me at that age ), and a classic castle. a BIG classic castle. I'm not sure which it was, but I remember there being a door with a ghost behind it . Anyway I asked the librarian for that set ALL THE TIME back then, but it was obviously very valuable and belonged to her son besides . The school has since changed buildings, and the librarian has since changed jobs. I just hope that awesome castle found itself a good home.

This is correct. I got the Winter Toy Shop as part of the order, so I thought it came with that, but upon further investigation this seems more accurate. My idea right now is to make a cave near the Islander area of my layout with a sunken floor, filled with jewels and other treasure , and put my King Kahuka throne in the center. But I'd love to keep hearing everyone's ideas, they're great inspiration!

Today I went to the mall, and walked out with a large PaB cup and the Winter Toy Shop PaB box full of parts. Among these are 141 (!!!) transparent yellowish-green jewels. Question: WHAT in the name of HADES' HARLOTS am I gonna do with 141 JEWELS? What would YOU do?

Went to the mall to fill up my Winter Toy Shop P-a-B Box, and bought a large P-a-B cup as well. Ended up with 450+ pieces (thanks to some great packing by my brother and myself), mostly flower stems and (141! ) trans-lime gems, plus 48 green 2x4 bricks for my layout. I am a happy boy.

Well the Bionicle-esque elemental categorization is definitely there... Though I can't imagine what element Stringer resembles. PREDICTIOn: William Blaze dresses in red, and is the leader. I just hope these aren't along the same lines as the "large figure" Knights's Kingdom sets.

Hello all! I've been working on a series of post-apocolyptic zombie survival MOCs, with a good amount of violence portrayed (zombie's impaled on spikes, zombies being decapitated, etc...) but without the depiction of blood. I recently found a lot of trans-red tiles and plates, so here is my question: In zombie/post-apoc MOCs, should blood be depicted by bricks/decals? And if so, should it be a realistic red color, or a more fictional trans-light-green or lime? Thanks in advance, Steel Dragon

AACK! BASEPLATE! Oh, man, I remember this site from when I was realllly little. It was my first exposure to pirates, motorcycles, and complex small-brick models (the camera, dinosaurs, etc...) Before writing this post I wentback to the site and snooped around... You're right, it hasn't been updated in ages. I plan on visiting a lot more now that you've reminded me. *nostalgiatsunami*

No one has mentioned the blue baseplate release! I know the baseplate has been available before, but they're rare enought to be pricey on Bricklink... as a Pirates lover I can't wait to pick some up and actually have some ocean to sail my ship on! Otherwise, I echo the sentiments towards the Appletree House, especially on the lawnmower. The car and copter look nice, as well as the minis, but I've never been one for the figureless vehicle sets. As a parts pack, I -may- try and find a helicopter on sale... but I won't exert too much effort for it.

Glad to be aboard! I finished the watchtower today, I'm probably going to start the well and take pictures over the next week. I might build a house for my Post-Apoc sigfig too, while I'm at it. ~SD

Hello everyone! It's my first time posting in a while, but this project really caught my attention. I have two questions: Once everyone's stuff is in, is there going to be any way to see it all together. I suppose there are cons to meet at, and the LDD entries could be combined... And could I have squares 30 and 34? 30 for the town's groundwater well, and 34 for a lookout tower (to watch the town's inner areas). Can't wait to get to work! ~SD

Package came in today, but instead of the firing cannon I ordered I got a Wild West cannon! :-O :-O :-O I am outraged :-O :-O :-O I propose a boycott of Stic's Bricks!
