The ToyFair brought in new Lego sets for brickheads to feast their eyes upon. "My wallet is gonna ache this year" and "I'm gonna get multiples" are common quotes found in the forums. No offense, but do you guys actually follow through with those purchases? Are these simply your wants or do you actually spend the money to get these sets? Personally, my Lego wish list this year totals 110 USD (as of yet). For me, that is a lot of money to spend on Legos alone. For you guys who have even bigger plans, do you really follow through? Please don't take this question to heart.

Bring in pics for the remaining sets! I've got my spring/summer lego budget to...~75 USD Let's see what these sets do to it.

How'd you get in? I arrived at around 4 pm and could not go in without an appointment. Oh yeah... the Japanese arch from Mt. Shrine is a must-get for me now. Comes out in Aug? kk, savin' up that birthday money. Why does it say 400+ pieces on the Mt. Shrine box. It doesn't have that many pieces. The prelim pic shows Kai on the generic white spinner. He's actually shown in his dragon suit and a red spinner. Nice.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 5 discussion

I'm really disappointed they didn't give "Sleuth" a cape. A lot more minifigs strike me as purchasable this series despite the fact that the creativity has been zapped from this series. I just don't sense it anymore. -
19.99 - 119.99 That means Mt. Shrine is going to be...19.99! Waghhhh! It seriously looks like it's worth 14.99

Will the battle droid's legs get a new mold? The jumping motion is really suggestive of that.

It just seems plausible that there will be a Lego Sherlock Holmes theme. -

Will probably skip the Sherlock Holmes figure because I am very positive there will be a Lego Sherlock Holmes theme in the near future. -
Saw another video on that YouTuber's channel and he's spinning the Ninjago spinner upside down with the ninja's hood being the base.

I'm quite annoyed that Lego can't do anything "short sleeved". Anywho, Wu would've looked better if the torso was all black. The shiny are cool, but I don't see myself purchasing them separately for $1+ each.

I found out through legal means that the Mountain Shrine box is in fact, the same dimensions as the Skeleton Chopper set. The Earth Dragon Defence box unfortunately, has the same dimensions as the Turbo Shredder. Now if the prices are analogous as well, we've got a decently priced Mountain Shrine and a $30 Earth Dragon Defence.

I realize that I'm trying to guess how much Mountain Shrine is going to be, and whether Lightning Dragon Battle will be a $20 set...I just can't wait for them to come out and find out myself-_-. Gee...anybody have that problem where you can't wait for the things you want to come out? It's driving me nuts!

I first imagined it to be like what you said, but this guy does have a spinner included and the super popular/rare golden sword. Now with Lego, I think they will jack up prices because of those two proponents. It will still be the smallest structure set though (not counting the impulse). Only time will tell :P
-
What do you guys think these sets will be priced at? My guesses Earth dragon 20 Lightning dragon 20 Mountain Shrine 30

Knowing who number 81 is on the Rams is not common knowledge. It's nerdy. Don't take the offensive comments seriously. You will be accused of nerdiness if you are passionate about something.

What is the point of the electricity pieces?

Thanks for the pics! The cube storage box looks like there's clear flaps on the outside to display your cards. The hexagonal storage box looks like it can double as a spinjutsu arena.

Mountain Shrine's box is 10" x 7.5". I'm thinking it would be $15. Yes. When I look at his eyes especially, my eyeballs start going up too. It's annoying, but I've gotten over the fact that it's unlucky to have something demonic looking displayed in your bedroom, looking at you while you sleep. He and Nuckal have the best colored spinners IMO, teal and purple respectively. I'm really disappointed Nya is the "damsel-in-distress". Kai's hair :D is the typical anime teen hero disheveled cut. totally cliche. Ninjago strangely reminds me of Shaolin Showdown.

The first line of spinners for me are to cliche. I'm waiting until April and August for the 2nd and 3rd lines to come out. (:D Zane DX + Garmadon)

Lego is out of their minds!

I like(very much) the concept of Spinjutsu so I'm fine with $10. Seems fair ya know? Then let's compare it to Bakugan and Beyblade only :P -
Lego Star Wars Mini Models Series 1 - X-wing, Mini Tie Fighter, Sebulba and Anakin's Podracers MSRP: 19.99 Lego Star Wars Mini Models Series 2 - AT-ST, Snowspeeder, Jedi Starfigther and Slave I MSRP: 19.99 Lego Star Wars Mini Models Series 3... the list goes on.

I have a feeling the spinner game will be quite the success. It's simplistic, and interactive. Cards effects take place in real time unlike other TCG's where all battling is abstract. Just lower the prices a tad. Thing is the spinners are slightly harder to transport than card decks and there should be a weapons slot (like the pencil slots in a book bag) in the card holders. Spinners should also be able to fit in the card holder which I imagine would be like the Game Boy holders. In the future, they could have customizable spinners that can knock a spinner off balance or stop it in its tracks.

Not sure if this applies to everybody, but TRU is having a buy 2 get third free on Legos today. Great way to stock up on figs. I got hasty and got 'em on the 30th of Dec. Spend 1.50 more each for the two I got. Now I know. :D Happy New Year
