From what I have gathered most people are fine with customs as they are typically very smalls runs of figures and they are done on TLG parts. Typcailly the IP of the characters is ignored due to the use of TLG parts, the bootleggers are normally looked down on for using Lego IP, not the company who owns the character. You will find some people that object to both though. Doesn't make sense to me at all but that's what I've gleaned over time.

So it looks likes we are getting the Bath robe Batman from TLG afterall. or should I say Lobster-Loving Batman. Catman's Cowl could also be a great replacement for NiteOwl.

Yeah, the wave is hit and miss there are a lot of parts that I've been scratching my head what to do with.

It definitely depends on the brand, SY and Decool have long been the gold standard. As of late though SY seems to just rehash things and Decool have mainly been copying sets and been pretty dormant overall. The big players now are XINH and Pogo, they are generally good but can sometimes suffer from poor artwork choice or quality assurance. DLP is some where in the middle with bringing out never done figs and churning out copies of TLG stuff. It's best to normally wait until actual pictures popup on AE, but sometimes patience can override hesitation.

The Arkham Knight one just looks like a mess to me, its not shocking though as Pogo's white printing on black has never been great.

Some more actuals of the new Bat-wave have popped up. Batriot, St. Batricks, Arkham Knight, Also we have the new BBT theory figure, the torso would be a perfect to swap onto a Deadpool movie figure.

The only ones I remember seeing from SY were black for penguin and i believe there were a red set from Robin.

SY 750, just a few stores have it and like the usual SY it seems they are only being sold as a set of 4. Cheapest HERE

I would suspect that pictures be a no go and we would be better off with a quick crop and paint and putting it on imgur or somewhere else. For the full set pictures there is r/bootlego. On another note the latest SY wave has given Falcon's wings ball joints instead of the single piece backpack.
