I just love it! Must have been hard to put all those small stickers on?? But excellent job! -
Really love this very clean and simple, but effictive creation. Really love the doll house and elves!

Wow, just wow. I will be following this thread. Just amazing

I'm sorry I didn't reply earlier, but I just had to come back and say what a fantastic job. I am in love with that small GE.

Hi lightningtiger! You just keep on going don't you? Lol. But I really, really like your creations. Every time I logg on, you have moc'ed something new. And I like all of them! Very, very nice details and great playability. You are my favorite builder for sure! Thanks for sharing all your pictures, so I can learn! That's what this year is going to be all about for me. Can't wait how your newest creation is progressing! I'm a conformist! -
My son doesn't have much police sets, only a couple of bikes and a small police car. So this year the police subtheme will definatelly be on our wichlist! I really love the layout of this station. Might be a copy of the last police station in many regards, but it's more suited for his town. Also a couple of houses, the new cabin looks great and he definatelly would like to have the street corner. So many whiches, lol. Oh well, we'll have to see what we can do

hello everyone and congratulations to every builder of this great and beautiful building. It's really amazing I would definitely build this. What great little details! Congrats again to you all! I'm hoping for a next community build. Really great! Does anybody have enough bricks to build this in real life? Would be great to see this

Hey, thanks for the link! Now I know that I need 1 meter for the layout on the box. However, I also searched for the passenger train and saw that the minimum space required for a turn is 71 cm. I can use the straight parts to make the track wider instead of deeper. Great that I have the exact measurements now!
-
Hi, thanks for your fast reply! . It's very nice to know how much space is needed. We have bought this set already for my son, but it's wrapped for his birthday and won't be opended until the end of december. So we cannot test with the tracks, Lol. But we have to build a second lego table for the train and didn't know how wide it should be. So, at least 75 centimeters, holding 3 baseplates of 32x32 studs for the curve (= 3x 25 cm right?). Then we can have some straigt tracks and at the other side another 75 centimeters to make a curve that closes the loop. We are going to have a table of 2.50 meters X 0.75 centimeters for the train. That should do it then, right? If I miss understoud, would you please tell me? Thank's again

I'm sorry. I will be more carefull the next time.. I saw that Superkalle already removed the images. Thanks for that...

Hi Sergio, Thank you for your reply! I don't know why you couldn't see my images, because the links work fine for me. But you nailed the problem anyway. I set the windows fonts at 125%. I reset it to 100% and problem 1 is solved. But it would be nice that one day we can resize the tool box. But thanks for solving the problem! 2. That would be really great. A very handy feature that isn't hard to integrate. As sad, would be wonderfull 3. I hope this will come in the future. I have used the set brick to grid several times. But sometimes I think it's unpredictable. Some times it works wonderfully. But when I want to align vertically, on top of another part, and I set Brick To Grid, the selected brick rotates, so I cannot connect. Maybe I'm just not using it correctly. Anyway, I really like that you can align grids to bricks and set rotation points to bricks. But to build vertically, is very difficult compared to LDD. 4. I know what you mean. But that is not what I meant. I mean, once you have orginized with the miner, how can you build the actual manual and have an option to build a instruction manual with building steps etc? 5. I have tried several times. If you search for something that is in the part name, it will show. But if you search soly on part number like 3005, the 1 X 1 brick will not show up. I did read you manual several times and experimented with it for a few days. That's why I asked you my initial questions, based on my findings... Don't get me wrong, I realy like your program. It has great features the LDD doesn't have and I can use parts I cannot use in LDD. But there were some I like better in LDD and things that were unclear to me, so that's why I ask. Again, congrats on your program

Hi Sergio, First of all, thank you for your great app! I like all the powerfull features it has. I do have a couple of problems though, maybe you can help me out? 1. The toolbox doesn't appear correctly (see links to images). And since the toolbox isn't resizable, I cannot work well with this app, since I cannot choose the colors. The checkbox Hide Patterned Parts is in front of the color selection. And the larger preview of the part section of the toolbox isn't displayed correctly either. Again, see my links. I hope it is some setting I got wrong or something. image1 image2 2. When you hover a part over another part it 'snaps' into place. But this is very, very difficult to see. In LDD manager, the color of part where you can select it to, highlights with green lines around it. Is something like that possible to do? It should make the intuitivity a lot better/bigger. (Don't know if I put that right, english isn't my first language.) 3. In LDD, one of the most usefull general features I think is that if you want to connect a piece on top of another, you can just hover over it and it's there with one click. With SR 3D Builder, you first have to position your piece in line with the piece which you are trying to put it on top off (at least a bit to make the connection later on easier). Then you have to use your scroll wheel to go up or down with the piece to connect it. I sometimes have to scroll around one piece a long time at various angles, to make sure that the piece is in fact really over the piece I want to connect it to. Not a little bit to the left or right, not a bit to high or low. Do you know what I mean? 4. I like the instuction miner. But do you have an option to to actually build the model in the way one has ordered the parts with it? 5. I see in the status bar that you do state the part number. But as far as I can tell, there is no way of searching by part number? I tried several times, but it didn't gave any parts in return. I hope to hear from you. Esp. since I like a lot of features in SR 3D Builder and it has the parts I need that LDD doesn't have. Well, congrats with this great app and thanks again!

What about this Train Set Sale?
uitzetter replied to uitzetter's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Hi everybody, Thanks for your responses. @Captain Green Hair: yep, the link says that. But only this week it's EUR 161,- It was in a sales folder. But if you go to this link, it says the price only this week. And your'e right. I'm sorry to bump my own topic. It's not very nice. I know... I did it because I really needed advice, because it was only this week and when I phoned the store they were sold out. Also the next two villages. There was only one left in a store the third village from here so I let them take them aside. But I had to come get it that evening, otherwise they would be sold the next day. Anyway, I paniced since I hadn't received any replies at that point. But I decided to go for it, so we got the value pack after all. Sorry again, won't happen again... @Stash2Sixx and escortmad79: Then this certainly is a very good package! And the individually sets combined would certainly cost more than 190. So thanks guys for your replies. -
Cannot open LDD. MFPLAT.dll missing
uitzetter replied to MurkyMajare's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Well, it's not a 64 bit or 32 bit problem. I'm using 32 bit so the problem isn't limited by just one version of win7. But I have to say that my 3.1 worked without any problems. I reinstalled LDD 4 after I did a format of my pc and fresh install of the operating system, drivers etc. Once a year I take a couple of hours just do that. It's kind of a habit . Anyway, I was installing LDD 4 on a freshly installed pc that didn't have mfplat.dll. I downloaded it and now it works fine. Just make sure you have a good antivirus if you decide to download dll files from the internet, because there are a lot of infected files out there. -

Cannot open LDD. MFPLAT.dll missing
uitzetter replied to MurkyMajare's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
I have. I had trouble after I uninstalled version 3.1 and went for a clean install. So I did and had that same message. I just downloaded mfplat.dll (just google "download mfplat.dll") and copied it to the appropriate directory (C:\Windows\System32). Restarted LDD and all was fine. -
What do you think of this sale? Train Value Pack It includes 7939, 7895, 7896 en 7937 for EUR 161,- only this week (found it in a sales folder). Normally it's EUR 189,99.

LDD 4 is released!
uitzetter replied to Daedalus304's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
Thanks, I also like this very much! -
Just to make sure you have the propper rights, try this: 1. Close LDD 2. Go to your file explorer and rename the preferences.ini to preferences.old 3. Copy and paste your "preferences.old" so you have a duplicate file. It will most prob. be called "preferences.old - copy" or something like that. 4. Open the "preferences.old - copy" in a text editor like notepad. Not Word or Writer. Then add the line. 5. Save as: Preferences.ini Check if your preferences.ini has the appropriate line in it. If it is, you do have the rights and something else is wrong. It seems redundant, I know, but you will find out if you really can't edit the preferences.ini.
