  1. We are working to solve the issue... Btw: thanks everybody for the nice comments!
  2. Thanks Blakbird for the useful review and explanation of the new features: I was waiting since longtime for another playable technic set form TLG
  3. I hope also the half bush will be back someday in black color: it's even more rare and expensive than the bush...
  4. Let me say it was a great event with AFOLs from 14 different countries! On saturday we had a nice visit from Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen and CEO Jørgen Vig Knudstorp with two sons, and they all had some fun with my RC Brabham car: it's incredible how friendly and passionate they are towards LEGO fans
  5. The idea for the decals on the tyres comes from Mr. Stefan Weise, who was working on some nice MOD based on my Tyrrell P34: he was so kind to send me the vector format to print them out. I must admit that I'm quite satisfied about the result, and they fit very well on the smooth sides of the large tire 32296, while on the 2997 there are the embossed figures 81.6 x 34 ZR that don't allow to do the same.
  6. I've applied the decals few days ago, cause I've completed the model just the day before the event with the missing parts I got from a fellow ItLUG member Here you can see how it will look like at the upcoming event in LECCO (Italy):
  7. WOW, thanks: this is the definition I was looking for
  8. I can confirm that Blackbird renders are the closest thing to the real model I've ever seen And his technical analysis is also very detailed and well explained: thanks for that! I just want to recall a "missing" feature that I had to remove from the final motorized model of the BT52: a 2 speed gear shift I presented in this old post
  9. A simple acrylic spray you can find in a do-it-yourself store.
  10. No way! In order to have a diffuser under the rear suspension arms I had to squeeze and shrink everything in that area...
  11. Here I am! Glad to hear that you like them: I should find some time to present them here in details, but in the latest months it's really hard to find time also to build Btw, there is an old article on LDraw about my design process, here: http://www.ldraw.org/Article535.html I'm preparing an updated version includind the latest cars and additional details, but let's say the basis are always the same. The upcoming McLaren is almost ready: enjoy the turbine on the exhaust pipes, the rear suspension and the rear diffuser fron this image PS: and yes, the front rims are always 44772
  12. You probably know that the first two digits are the calendar week of production, the forth digit is the year (2010) and the third is the manufacturing location...
  13. Well, the Lotus 43 (with BRM 16 cylinders H engine) and the Ferrari 312T are mine
  14. I usually don't spend time making instructions for my MOCs, but I normally provide the MLCad files to anyone who ask for them: I simply ask them a confirmation (in writing) that they will use my files only for personal building and not for business purpose. This way you can keep your work available for free and you may know AFOLs really interested in it while sharing your experience (hopefully) whitout such kind of problems. Btw it's a shame, and I hope Crowkillers fears are not real, but only a consequence of its deserved success (i.e. many people building its creation worldwide).
  15. Thanks for the report and congrats to Marius for his fantastic creation!
  16. You are completely right: but I haven't space enough to convert the same concept with double bevel. In fact the final solution is this one, with double bevel gear but just one speed and... neutral (I kept the lever actuated from the cockpit)
  17. For my latest MOC I've designed this compact gear shift close to the differential: the lower axel can be moved through the old technic flex cables directly from the cockpit, and the axial joint connect it to the crankshaft. It's a pity that I had to remove this feature when I've installed an XL motor to make the car RC, since the torque is too high for the thin gear and its weak connection with the axle, and it cannot guarantee a proper connection with the differential gear (while for a static model it works smoothly) Enjoy. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=416855
  18. Well done Rupi: nice looking MOC and a clever idea for the "suspensions".
  19. Thanks for the review, Cardinal Brick. Could you please confirm if the parts connecting the wings to the cockpit are new? I mean these ones: Thanks
  20. Resellers have got the brand new catalog 2010 in these days, so we can expect to see tons of new pics in few hours
  21. Oh, well: anyone else who may help other EU non-UK citizens out there? PM me, thanks!
  22. My 5 in no particular order: Luke's Landspeeder by Lars Venator Star Destroyer by thire5 Q-Wing by Rook Snowspeeder Crash Diorama by Kaitan Tie by RebelRock
  23. You're welcome Richie I've missed your thread before but with the new technic&model forum I found your nice creation I hope to see other F1 cars in this scale soon.
  24. And 8033 building instructions are also available on LEGO website: http://cache.lego.com/bigdownloads/buildin...ons/4549834.pdf
  25. I didn't notice if this has been posted yet, but the tauntaun in this diorama could be the one of the new Echo set? http://www.techeblog.com/index.php/tech-ga...-made-from-lego PS: I've found it's a custom :(
