  1. LTR ended because Shmade (organizer) have no longer time to organize it. Here is link for the LTTT rules, but it is in Czech so you have to use translator: http://www.artpeter....al/Pravidla.php , they are based on real czech truck trial rules.
  2. Sadly this was the last organized LTR. Now we have only LTTT (LEGO Technic Truck Trial http://www.brickshel...llery.cgi?m=KTT) which have very strict rules. The suspension is based on Shmade's car: http://www.kostky.or...ach=66650;image Even the RC unit can't deliver that much power to RC motors, we have used one batterybox for each motor and from motors/BB's have been removed safety termal fuses. We mostly use standard lego 9V cables, and any BB's that are available, here is pic of my controller http://www.kostky.or...ch=105608;image Broken parts sometimes happen, but not that often, from all races i have been i had only few broken pins, and exactly 4 worn axles :-D
  3. Hi guys, This is my LTR (Lego Technic Rally) car, which i have build a few years ago. It has independent suspension on all wheels and it is all wheel drive. Because it is for rally i have used two RC motors for propulsion and experimental gearbox (low gear for offroad, high gear for flat roads and downhills). As you will see in video everyone use cable remote, it's because of RC motors power consumption (in that time there wasn't V2 reciever) and weight. This car no longer exist, but i still have the chassis without gearbox. Remotely controlled functions (cable): Driving (2 RC buggy motor) Steering (http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/47154) Gearbox (M motor) Propulsion: slower RC motor output to gearbox ( 1:1, N, 12:20) and then 20:28 (differential) Steering: 12:20 to 8:steering rack Weight: about 850g Speed: (fast walk) :-D Brickshelf gallery: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=490253 Video(from the Race): Front: Back: Bottom:
