  1. Nope, I won't pre-order it. Even if I can afford one, I'd rather get a second ISD.
  2. The source that gave us the info of the sandcrawler is the same one that gave us the info of the deathstar 2, including the serial numbers piece count and price. Since every single thing he gave us about the Deathstar II was correct, we can strongly assume that everything he gave us about the sandcrawler was true as well : 10143 Death Star II - $300, 3500 pieces 10144 Sandcrawler - $150, 1500 pieces As you can see his info about the DS were absolutely correct. If he is correct on the sandcrawler, it will be system scaled (and include minifigs). Great, that sounds music to my ears... Finally, after all these years we are getting the minifig Sandcrawler. I also hope that it includes those old Technic treads too. Thanks a million for the info Jipay. :-D
  3. Heh, that post isn't what I consider an endless post! I wrote many posts longer than that!!! What a disappointment! :P :-D BTW Jipay, Did you manage to get a glimpse at the new Sandcrawler? Or is it just a rumor? And is it an UCS/Sculpture type set or a System one with minfigs? I hope it's a real set after all. :oD
  4. Oh yeah, I remembered now... What a shame that silly things like that had their own dramatic dilemmas! I hope this hobby keeps growing on you more and more regardless of those incidents that might work as drifting agents. I had my own incidents as well with this "LEGO" community, but I cared less and didn't let it affect my obsession about building. People in general are different and remarkably have different attitudes, such a stigma almost exists in every hobby and profession, and all we can do is work around it and find our fine tune to make it through all those obstacles that we might not be fond of. Anyhow, glad to see you back at it again. ;)
  5. So it has been confirmed.. It is a $299 set after all!!!!! *sick* :'( *sing*
  6. Sweden, man... Where the hell have you been? I know that you had your own differences with Tim Saupe in the past, but who hasn't? Were you posting on Lugnet? BTW, I always enjoyed reading your long endless posts... Good to see you around again. :^D :)
  7. For some reason, the new pics show more details (greeblies) than the first ones that have been captured at the Toy fair... Maybe the first photos were only showing the prototype. Or is just a photography trick?
  8. Honestly, I like it, but it could have been designed a bit better than that! I like the SNOTy plates construction idea that also contributes to a much lighter weight.. But those unfinished sections just don't look greebled or detailed enough for an UCS model. BTW, was the $300.00 price tag confirmed? It looks more of $200 range to me...
  9. Man, those pics are just huge.. But thanks a lot for the scans pal.. I really dig those sets quite a lot. :^D
  10. I believe that the Vikings line is a stand alone theme like what the pirates used to be.. And I truly hope that this new line will be running for many years to come.
  11. Huh? YOU are doing non-Sci-Fi things??? Tell me!!!! Tell me!!!! :oo :) Apo. I'm a Sci-Fi freak (sorry I can't help it :P ) after all, which means it will be a mixture of medieval and hightech robotics all over the place. It will be unique and challenging build. Right now I'm in the process of collecting the pieces for the first launching models.. And of course it will be in Darkkazmo's style. :^D And there will another new Star Wars project as well. ;) Thanks a lot for your anticipation dude. :-D
  12. This so exciting, but man.. I don't like all those Bionicle pieces. |-/ But those sets will be a nice addition to my LEGO collection, I can use many of those pieces in my new fantasy project. :^D
  13. Happy Birthday from the darkside. :^D
  14. Vikings, man I always wanted such a line. This is just plain awesome. :^D
  15. Jipay, I'm neither an administrator nor a moderator over FBTB, but if you happen to know a good solution for this problem, please go ahead and post it over there, after all you are a FBTB member nonetheless. To be honest with you, I wasn't a big favor of this e-mail issue, since I always thought it would refrain new people from joining the club. But on the other hand I wasn
  16. I am fine with the rule, since I do have an e-mail account from my ISP, I'm just trying to find an alternative and convenient way for the others. But I'm sure Ace/De will find a way.
  17. What about people (like me) who don't have an e-bay account?
  18. I tend to agree.. I'm sooo getting these. :-D |-D
  19. Honestly, I don't know.. But have you traded with any other member before? If you did, probably you could use his/her confirmation of your home address for a trust worthy member status.. I don't know, I'm just shooting some ideas.
  20. Collin take it easy pal, I'm sure that this refugee tent has it's own Cons on your brain, "ventilation" isn't quite as good, and the heating system is a bit too strong.... :P Apo and others don't worry guys, I'm sure that there will be a solution somehow for every case. I'm not Ace or De, but we might solve this issue by supplying our true addresses to the admins and have some people who traded with us (for example) confirm the legitimacy of it. I don't know, but I'm sure that Ace and De will bend the rules a bit, at least for the trusted members.. :D Believe me, I'm a heavily a hotmail user my self. :^^D
  21. Good, I hate to get heat from the other members.. ;)
  22. Hey, we never called you refugees when you came to FBTB! BTW, is the tent heated, I know Europe is very cold at this time of the year. :P
  23. Good to see you again guys. :^D
  24. I agree with most of you here, the set looks much better than before. I see some good parts to be used in other LEGO projects. Sadly, we have to live with those skin-tone minifigs until the end of the license! Which totally plain sucks. *devil*
