  1. Thanks for those pics, very exciting. Summer looks like it's gonna hurt the wallet, again.
  2. Very cool!
  3. Very cool!
  4. Love the head this way.
  5. I picked up the Bounty Hunter Gunship the other day. It's a pretty cool set with some neat features. One part of the design, in my opinion, which is totally lacking is the attachment for the cockpit cover. The original design calls for two pieces that don't have enough friction between them to keep the top closed during roll maneuvers; the weight of the lid causes it to fall open. I didn't want to change how all of the curved slopes and tiles look in that area but I did want to fix this. It occurred to me to use the same pieces that the Separatist Shuttle uses to close its canopy. As you can see, this MOD isn't very invasive. It does require the removal of the two original bits and the addition of 5 new parts. Nothing needs to be moved or repositioned, the new hinge sits on previously open studs. The result, in my mind, is totally acceptable. I don't usually MOD sets, I like to build them as the factory intended and leave them at that but this one cried for some attention. Now the canopy stays open when opened and stays shut during barrel rolls. Anyways, thought I would share in case anyone else has been having this same frustration. Cheers, Jake
  6. Love that this is made from a raft!
  7. Lovely! The SNOT on the ETA is very nice.
  8. Nice! I've actually got a similar engine/intake setup on a BARC speeder I've been working on.
  9. Slick!
  10. Fantastic, can't wait to try this out, just for the fun of it.
  11. So, can you post a picture of the zoomed in/enhanced image so the rest of us can see what you claim to see? Can't be that hard to take a screen shot in the enhancement program you use, right?
  12. Nice work.
  13. Picked up two yesterday at the local LEGO store. The entire shipments worth of these sold out within an hour or so.
  14. Nice review, saw a few of these go quickly on Monday at the local LEGO store. May get it in the future, looks like a fun one.
  15. These are cool, very innovative!
  16. Fantastic!
  17. No kidding, I was hoping for the Mundi head to be just a regular head, only a bit taller but when I read the all customs comment I bet it will be some kind of rubberized action figure head.
  18. Thanks for the review, I'm still planning on getting this one but my interest had dwindled slightly.
  19. I ran into my local TRU today in northern California, they had neither the new SW sets on the shelves yet nor spaces for them on the shelves. Oh well, I knew it was a long shot but needed to confirm. They did have loads of the 8014 BP, though at 14.99........
  20. Slick, I may have to zip down the local TRU and see what they have in stock. Thanks.
  21. I used the bumps to narrow down the selection in the box and then felt for the specific pieces to get a better idea of what I was getting. It saved me some time having the bumps cheat sheet.
  22. Yeah, love that new helmet. I know these BP's are available via the TRU online store, has anyone seen them in the wild at the actual store here in the US?
