  1. Sardegna, huh? I live at La Maddalena and Carbonia for a time. Isola bellissima.

  2. Yeah, those pics have been posted, notably on the first page, although the source you cite also lists prices for each of those sets, some of which have only been speculation until now. Also, some of the prices in Euro are less than the first page lists. Looks like you can order those now and they'll ship in August. Might be a deal for European LEGO collectors.
  3. Just FYI, you don't have to buy at S@H to be entered into the drawing for the UCS MF. On the postcard that went out, it stated 'No purchase necessary' but you do have to send a letter to the LEGO address in CT with your name, address and phone #, and it has to be postmarked May 3rd or 4th. My son wrote his up this morning and I dropped it in the post box. Like the NY lotto motto, 'Hey, you never know!'.
  4. I picked up the Tantive IV and Cad Bane's Speeder. I had asked the woman at the desk if I got $150 worth of sets could I get 2 ARF troopers to which she replied 'Yes, if you split your order'. Then she asked what I was planning on getting and when I explained, she said 'Sure'. So for the Tantive IV and CB's Speeder, I used $20 in VIP points and it came out to just over $150, got the two ARF troopers, the poster and the ice cube tray.
  5. Love the MIDI Venator, my son and I will have to try one of these out, thanks so much for the instructions!
  6. The best part of that advent calendar is the Christmas tree! Awesome! And the Yoda that looks like one of those creatures from the movie 'Gremlins'. I will absolutely not be buying this.
  7. Love this!
  8. Very cool, love the Fett propeller pack!
  9. Thanks, I think it might have something to do with recovering the target in the water and pilots seeing it when it's flying. It also caused me to have to order orange bits internationally as there were some that weren't readily available here in the states. Not all target UAV's are orange, though. The next one I'm working on is the GQM-163A Coyote, along with it's booster and launcher. After that, maybe the MQM-107E and AQM-37C.
  10. So, I work in the aerospace industry, specifically on target UAV's. I decided I needed something LEGO for my desk at work, something related to the work I get to do. The 74E isn't something that our company produces but it has clean lines and is fairly straightforward to make in LEGO. It elicits comments from visitors who happen to stop by my desk, it's a fun conversation piece about the 74E. It's not quite done, I haven't attached the JATO bottles and the fwd forks need a bit of work, still. I was able to use light bley for almost all of the launch rail with the exception of the metal detectors which I don't believe come in bley. Anyways, enjoy. I also attached a shot of the real bird for comparison. Cheers, Jake
  11. For the WIN! Thanks so much, Lars. Very gracious of you.
  12. If you open the picture in a new window, the address for the actual graphic is http://cache.lego.com/images/shop/prod/10221-0000-xx-12-1.jpg
  13. Wow, that's cool, if it's legit. Love the collection of bounty hunters.
  14. This MOC is so slick! Looking forward to more detailed exploded views.
  15. I don't mind this set at all, I don't think it looks terrible and I was happy to find it half off at a local Target. Could do worse for $60, maybe one day I'll even open it up and put it together.
  16. Shouldn't this topic be moved or removed? It has no LEGO SW content at all.
  17. Get to da choppa!
  18. Love this! Very nice! The MCM was the one set for which I saved all of my pennies when I was 12, I still have it, one of my all time favorites.
  19. Craptastic!
  20. These pics are FANTASTIC! Summer really is gonna hurt my wallet!
  21. This is HILARIOUS! The Gorn! Classic!
  22. Nice! From the title, and recognizing the torso on the female engineer, I expected Admiral Akbar to pop his lovely, mutated head out of the growth cell!
  23. The hands in the leg joint is fantastic!
  24. Love the prop engines. Very cool.
